Paper Paper Fruit In One Piece

Chapter 305: Chapter 305: The Arrival of Doflamingo,

On the sea surface at a 60-degree angle,

the Sunny sailed down with Luffy aboard.

"Hey, this sea area feels like it's downhill."

In response to Luffy's words, Nami sighed and steered The White Knight to avoid the hidden rocks in the sea.

"It's not just that it feels like it, we're actually going downhill in the sea, which is why we're moving so fast."

"This is 'Sea Slope,' it's pretty common—"

In response to Law's calm words, Usopp couldn't help but complain.

"Common my foot?!"

"By the way, Nami, what's our next island?"

Usopp turned to ask, and Nami pointed to the compass on her wrist.

"Dressrosa, the country of the Seven Warlords, Donquixote Doflamingo. But, at Law's request, we're taking a big detour..."

"Ahhh, why is it directly the hideout of the most vicious guy in the Seven Warlords?!"

"The operation has already started."

"What operation?"

Chopper asked in confusion, while Luffy enthusiastically patted Law's shoulder and introduced Chopper, Franky, and Brook.

"We've formed an alliance with Tera's pirate crew, so we all need to get along well from now on. Hehe~~"

"····· The main thing is that we're going to fight the 'Four Emperors' together."

Law added helplessly.

Luffy's introduction: Those who knew about the pirate alliance would understand, but those who didn't would think it's some sort of fan club····· "Fighting the 'Four Emperors,' that sounds interesting."

Facing Zoro's excited words, Usopp couldn't help but complain.

"What's so interesting about it?!"

"Raise your hand if you oppose it!"

As Usopp raised his hand high in the air, Chopper quickly followed suit. When Brook asked, "Can I raise my hand?" Sanji, who was nearby, sighed.

"Anyway, Luffy already made the decision, right?"

So there's no need to worry about going back on it, but: "At a time like this, shouldn't someone be explaining to us how tough the 'Four Emperors' are······"

Saying this, Sanji looked back at the helmsman, The White Knight, then turned to Luffy.

"Luffy, does The White Knight also count as part of the 'alliance'?"

"Hehe, sure."

Luffy, sitting cross-legged on the deck, immediately understood Sanji's point. "Tera is trustworthy. During the Summit War, he and Roman rescued me and Jinbe from the seabed."

"Nami, Roman is——"

Since Luffy agreed, Sanji no longer kept it a secret and pointed to The White Knight. It was just a simple puppet, and Roman, their companion, seemed to have disappeared somewhere.

"Roman is still at Punk Hazard. He said he's staying behind to handle things with the kids."

Since Luffy had agreed... and he had been calling out "The White Knight" and "Roman" earlier, with the careful mind of this former Warlord, Law probably had already guessed. So Nami no longer hid the truth.

"Don't worry. He has the 'swap ability.' He can come back anytime he needs to."

"Proposal to bring Roman back immediately!"

Usopp, curled up in a ball, raised his hand first, with Chopper quickly following. Without Roman, the Straw Hat crew felt vulnerable to any strong enemy. It was just too insecure! "Miss the first day without Roman,"

"I miss him too..." And at that moment, Roman was: —

At Punk Hazard Island, inside the 211th Fleet's ship:

A group of Marines were struggling with how to manage these giant 'kids.' — Except for the Vice Admiral's giant warship, most Marine ships didn't have special cabins that could fit kids who were seven to eight meters tall.

"Every time, we only show up after everything is solved, making it seem like we're taking credit for other people's work."

Facing Bolkin's complaint, Roman pointed to the side. "Just in time. Get someone to register these kids and then notify their families to come to Marine Headquarters."

Not everyone had the courage to accept the sudden transformation of these kids into giants. Why did Big Mom, Charlotte Linlin, get sent to the giant's land by her parents? It was because she unintentionally destroyed her hometown. — Maybe she just thought she was playing normally, but to ordinary people... and this was one of the better situations! Big Mom's parents obviously had some money and power; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to send her to the giants. They hoped she would find a place for herself in the giants' land. However, these children, who were being used as test subjects:

All their parents were just ordinary people. If they were sent back, one mistake could turn their parents' hard-earned homes and wealth into ruins. They might even hurt their parents by accident. So,

"The Marines are their best place to be. It also gives those giant Vice Admirals something to do besides fighting and drinking."

"···· I don't think they have the patience to deal with kids,"

Facing Bolkin's remark, Roman waved his hand.

"No worries. Anyway, as long as they're officers or above, they'll be able to handle these 'big kids.' Let's leave it to them—"

"We've got a 'guest.' I'll go deal with it."

——————

"Fufufufu, Smoker!"

On the other side, G-5 Marines stood on high alert, watching the tall man who had just descended from the sky. He had short blonde hair, wore red glasses shaped like eyes, a pink feather coat, cropped pants, and pointed shoes.

"Forget about Law. The Straw Hats are pirates, right? Where are they? Where did those brats run off to?!"

"Who knows, joker."

With a cigar in his mouth, Smoker answered calmly.

"Even Base Commander Vergo ended up crippled. What can I do?"

*Crack*

Veins popped on Doflamingo's forehead as nearly invisible strings appeared between the fingers of his outstretched hand.

"You sure know a lot, don't you..."

*Whoosh!*

Without further words, killing intent surged! Doflamingo raised his hand, and five nearly transparent strings suddenly lashed toward Smoker. The snapped cigar and splattering blood marked the start of the fight.

"Five-Color String!"

...Huh? Smoker, can you even hold up?!

This work was uploaded by Liujiumu Book Bar~~

Roman's Squad 211 was made up of 'second-generation Marines,' while Smoker's G-5 squad had the reputation of being the 'Marine thugs.' To put it simply, these two squads didn't get along. That's why Squad 211 stayed on the warship to calm the kids and guard the prisoners, while G-5 handled moving the lab equipment and data.

But even though the two groups weren't far apart, by the time Roman noticed Doflamingo flying over and rushed to G-5's location, Smoker had already suffered three consecutive defeats today...

"Vice Admiral Smoker!"

"Stop it!!"

"Fufufu, today, none of you will leave alive—?!"

Just as Doflamingo was about to finish off the fallen Smoker, a swift figure tore through the air, leaving behind a long shockwave trail like lightning. Wherever it passed, the air seemed to crackle, and a leg covered in Armament Haki mercilessly swept toward him.

"More More 50x, 100,000-kilogram kick!"

Faced with the overwhelming attack, Doflamingo had no choice but to abandon Smoker. With a wave of his hand, he unleashed a massive web made of hundreds of nearly invisible strings to block the incoming strike.

"Spider Web Wall!"

In the next instant, the Haki-covered kick and the Haki-reinforced web clashed violently. The force of their collision compressed the air into a translucent energy field the size of a large table. It only flashed for a moment before exploding outward due to the immense opposing pressure. The resulting shockwave spread rapidly in all directions, creating crackling sounds as the air burst apart. Bright electric sparks flew from the intense energy friction, a phenomenon caused by the sheer power burning the air!

The shockwave, carrying an unmatched force, expanded outward, obliterating everything in its path.

*Crack crack crack!!*

In that brief moment, the shockwave formed a vast, white energy wall that extended endlessly. With the spider web as the center, it seemed to slice the world in two, dividing the ground, buildings, and sky into separate halves. Though the clash lasted only an instant, under the accumulated momentum and Haki Roman had built up while charging forward, the white energy wall began to push relentlessly toward Doflamingo's side.

It looked as if Doflamingo, along with the half of the world he stood in, would be completely destroyed by the advancing shockwave.

*Boom!!*

"...Who do you want to kill?"

As Doflamingo was sent flying with a kick and buried in the rising cloud of dust, Roman's calm voice echoed—not something he said at that moment, but rather during his dash toward the enemy.

He was moving so fast that even his voice was left behind.

"He actually sent a Warlord flying with one kick…"

"It's White Dove, the Vice Admiral candidate. We're saved!"

"Damn Doflamingo, how dare you attack Vice Admiral Smoker. The Marines won't let you get away with this..."

Amid the G-5 Marines' cheers, Roman frowned slightly.

'Heavenly Demon' Doflamingo… a tricky opponent.

"Heh heh heh, Vice Admiral candidate?"

As the dust settled, Doflamingo appeared, leaning forward and making a peculiar hand gesture, curling his index and pinky fingers. In front of him, the massive spiderweb he created had caved into a funnel shape but managed to block Roman's charged attack.

"That's all you've got? The Marines are getting weaker by the day."

Doflamingo sneered coldly, mocking them. "Not only can't they catch a pirate, but now they even let a little brat become a Vice Admir—?!"

"Keep talking, Doflamingo."

Roman had no interest in wasting time arguing. He pulled out a Den Den Mushi, and on the other end of the line—

"Roman, what's going on over there?"

A low, raspy voice came through, full of suppressed anger and authority.

"Shicibukai Doflamingo attacked the Marines at our G-5 branch and seriously injured Vice Admiral Smoker."

Roman glanced at the silent Doflamingo ahead and added,

"Can I execute this guy on the spot?"

*Crack!*

A vein bulged on Doflamingo's forehead once again, but he managed to hold back his rage. "Hey, you're not planning to attack even me, are you?"

"Shicibukai, ruler of Dressrosa, underground broker 'Joker,' former Celestial Dragon…"

Roman casually observed Doflamingo, who seemed ready to snap at any moment. Despite his relaxed expression, Roman had activated all his abilities, ready to strike at any time.

Underestimating an opponent and getting caught off guard was not Roman's style.

Come on, show me what a Warlord like you is capable of!
