YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

My first memory was the feeling of falling. It was a long fall and there was nothing I could do to stop myself and there was no way of telling where I would land or if I was even going to survive the impact.

Then it came. I smashed against what must have been a rock or a boulder and I could feel my spine snap accompanied by the feelings of my legs leaving.

I didn't even have the time to comprehend it as I suddenly started to slide of the boulder. On my way down I reached my hand to my back just to check the damage. It was already a miracle that I was still conscious but I wanted to pass out after reaching to my back. I could feel something hard pocking out of my skin and my hand came back red, blood red.

The gurgling of water reached my ears. So I looked up. Hoping that the water near me might be able to heal me. Yet I didn't even know why it should be able to do that.

Luckily my sliding path would drop me right into it.

My back started to hurt soon and the pain grew to unbearable levels. The river got closer and closer while the intensity of my pain just increased. Once the edge of the water was within my reach I grabbed the black obsidian sand that had replaced the boulder and dragged myself into the stream.

The water was calming and warm, it felt like entering a bath.

What was a bath? Where was I? WHAT IS MY NAME?!

Suddenly I was aware. The water seemed to invade or influence my mind into forgetting things.

Fighting for grip on the riverbed I dragged myself out of the water while the river was trying to keep me inside by forcing me to forget why I was trying to leave.

Finally breaking free from the river and leaving the last drops of it behind I realized that the bleeding had stopped.

Slowly my memories from before started to trickle in. However I somehow still couldn't remember what happened before I fell.

The river had healed my injury or atleast stopped the bleeding. As far as I could tell I was still paralyzed even though my spine had retreated back under my skin.

I tried to crawl around, leave the river behind, but the sand soon became obsidian shards and the river was the only thing I knew that could heal me and keep me sustained. So regardless of how much I wanted to leave this cursed river behind I couldn't possibly achieve it without dying from bloodloss.

I spent days there. Drinking from the waters whenever my throat started to feel like it was on fire and someone had rubbed salt into it.

Throughout all of this I continued to forget and regain my memories.

Suddenly there was something approaching. It appeared to be a woman with snake hairs and yellow eyes. Her body below her hips however was that of a black dragon. There were several ever-changing heads.

The name Kampe appeared in my mind. The woman seemed kind at first but as she got closer her movements became more erratic and her gaze excited. I tried to craw away, hide beneath the ways of the river but she was faster.

I was grabbed by the legs, and dragged towards her. The she took a closer look at me and said: "You will be entertaining to me and my friends." and it caused me to shiver. Whatever this woman wanted to do to me was not going to be pleasant and more than likely to be extremely painful.

She turned around in her almost 2.3 meter glory and immediately started to drag me with her as she moved.

The obsidian shards ripped through my skin as I was dragged and left behind a bloodstain starting from the edge of the river and ending with me.

The pain this caused was unimaginable and soon the shards had stopped ripping through my skin and started to go for the flesh underneath.

I passed out.

Suddenly there was heat and a burning pain. My nerves were fried before I could even see were I was but it stopped when I was thrown away. Landing somewhere a bit further away I could see another river. It was made out of liquid fire or was it lava? I slowly realized that I was just inside of it but didn't have the time to wonder how I survived it when I was once again dragged across the floor. This time I stayed awake for longer and the shards soon broke through my skin again. The fire river had apparently healed me but it's efforts were in vain as the woman, Kampe, was once again dragging me across the shards of obsidian.

After a while, it couldn't have been more than an hour, she had reached her destination and I arrived with her.

It was a cave. In the middle of it was something that looked like a table or an altar. Chains lined the walls and some sections of the floor.

"Tell me your name, demigod." she said. And I couldn't help but frown. "I don't know. I believe the river made me forget."

"It doesn't matter anyway, it was merely a curiosity of mine." the woman dismissed.

Suddenly she grabbed my face and smashed me in a wall. "I was going to torture you anyway and maybe some of my friends have some new design ideas for you." I could feel the rock dig into the back of my head and something trickling down my neck. Her next sentence was only a garbled noise as my brain rattled through my skull and I knew I had a garantied concussion now.

I was thrown across the cave to the chains which she placed my hands in. Then she looked at my legs.

"Let me guess you broke your back and are now paralyzed? That makes these legs redundant, don't you agree?" I couldn't even respond, wanting to express how much I would like to keep my legs before she continued. "My friend will come over soon. She might have something to fix those for you." and if her fanged smile hadn't been so menacing I would have thought she might actually want to help me.

After waiting for a bit she apparently got bored so she lifted the chains up, thereby elevating me and put them on a hook above me. Then she pulled her fist back and punched me with full forced in the stomach. The impact made me vomit immediately. But she continued regardless.

After what must have been hours a new voice entered the cave. It was scratchy and shrill. Like someone was dragging a nail across a chalkboard. But I couldn't make out what it was saying.

Over the course of the last few hours Kampe had broken all of my bones. From the toes up to my fingertips. Each digit was broken and crocked. Several of my ribs fell victim to her onslaught as well but the worst were my head and hips.

The hips had been broken at the joints and the connection to my spine.

My head was worse. My jaw, nose, cheekbones were broken with bonefragments sticking out. The back of my skull was cracked as well.

Previously I thought being dragged through shards of obsidian was painful now I stood corrected. I couldn't even see what was going on because of the pain and the concussion.

I was released from the chains only to be placed at something flat. Must have been the altar I saw when I got here.

And then there was PAIN even worse than before. It was so bad that it brought my sight back and I could see another woman, Echidna, was the name that popped up just like it did for Kampe, was holding a saw in her hands with blood on it. It was fresh so it must have been mine. She looked at me and said, in unison with Kapme:"Look who is suddenly awake. The real fun is about to begin." And then Kampe bit into my left arm. Was the bite painful? Yes but no more than the broken bones. What came after was worse. She must have had venom as all the wounds and broken bones in my body started to feel like they were on fire.

Echidna lifted the saw and placed it on my stomach. I started screaming as soon as she began sawing her way through my body. Blood and bits of skin, muscle and intestines went flying. My voice broke within minutes and they weren't even done yet. While Echidna was happily sawing through my intestines and pulling on them, Kampe was ripping of my fingers, then my forearms and the rest of my arms up until and including my shoulders. Periodically one of them left only to come back with liquid fire and dumping it over my body burning and healing me all the same.

Once Echidna was through my stomach, hip bones and spine she ripped the rest of, which was still clinging to me by the skin and nerve endings followed by both of them showing me the limbs they had taken while grining like the devil himself and showered in my blood.

Another dumping of liquid fire later, one that stopped the bleeding but didn't close the wounds, they made a show out of gathering my parts and turning them into a liquid which they mixed with another batch of liquid fire before placing it to the side.

Then Kampe and Echidna left the cave for a short time only to come back with the corpses of animals and other monsters. I could not identify any of them.

They then picked the corpse of what looked like a mix of an undead buck and an undead dog, cut of its head and placed it next to me.

They followed that by doing this with two more corpses. One head of a wolf with larger fangs than normal and horns curving forward. The last head was that of a dragon also with large fangs and several horns curving backwards.

Then more animal and monster parts were placed around me. My mind was to foggy to focus on trying to figure out what they were planning.

Both of them stopped soon, only to turn the rest of the corpses and their parts into a mush and add it to the mixture of my own body parts and the fire liquid.

After that they dipped below my line of sight.

I woke up and I was still inside the cave. But something was different. It took a while to find out what did but then the discoveries just kept coming.

For some fucked up reason I now had three heads. None of which were human. A black mane, similar to that of a lion was protecting my neck before turning into thick fur on my shoulders. My chest and stomach were also covered by it. My arms were long while my hands were almost the same as before but now I had claws instead of fingertips. My entire lower body was covered in the fur as well. But instead of feet I had hooves. My legs themselves were similar to before but were now stuck in a permanent predatory stand or crouch. There was one more addition to my body, one I hadn't really notice. I had a tail. It was long, thin and had a fluffy tip in the form of an arrowtip.

Suddenly my form shimmered and changed. And then I was back to my human form. But not entirely, for some reason I had scales on my most vulnerable places like the thigh, the inside of my arm and more. Upon closer inspection however it became clear that my skin had changed into scales but the were only really noticeable at those parts.

As a result of my change in form and size, something I hadn't noticed, the restrains on my limbs had become loose.

I looked around to see if Kampe or Echidna were here and to my luck they weren't. I tried to move my limbs, expecting pain to shoot through my entire body but nothing happened.

I tried to stand up and I succeeded in it after some effort. Slowly moving to the entrance of the cave as I looked around searching for clues where they had gone but I couldn't find anything.

I passed by the altar they had placed me on to do whatever they did and saw what must have been a magic circle drawn on the ground. That explained why they had dipped below my line of sight and considering the end result of it I could guess that they tried and probably succeeded in turning me into a monster. A bit out of my way to the entrance was the container with the mix of body parts and liquid fire but as I got closer I realized that it was empty.

But I didn't have time to wonder about it as I started to remember what had happened to it.

They had forced me to drink it before they had stood back and began chanting something.

I wanted to vomit now but I was unable to. The mixture had weirdly tasted good which just made me want to throw up more.

Finally leaving the cave I stood in front of it and looked around. Only to hear movement and see Kampe and Echidna approaching.

They hadn't seen me yet so I did the logical thing and got out of there.

For a few minutes there was just silence as I was running. Running towards another river in the distance, determined to put it between me and them to shake of any trails they could potentially follow.

But the silence was soon broken by yelling and the sound of heavy footsteps chasing after me.

I picked up the pace and sprinted towards the river only to dive headfirst into it.

Finally I was out of their reach and they would not be able to follow me. The obsidian shards didn't allow for footprints and since my skinhead turned into scales, there was no possibility of bloody footprints to happen.

And then the pain set in. Because no rivers around here could be just water. All of them had to cause physical or emotional pain. It was hard keeping myself focused enough to swim to the other side and I sunk below the waves several times.

Once I managed to drag myself to shore I noticed that the river was black. Not in the way of "it's just the riverbed that is black" but in the way that you wouldn't be able to dive inside of it without losing your way.

I continued further after I left the black river behind.

I crossed to more rivers the same way I did the last one. One of them seemed to try and convince me to jump into it's waters to atone for crimes I had no knowledge of and the other one was trying to make me depressed. Both weren't really that effective on me.

After what must have been days of moving alongside the last river I came across the other rivers again. All of them seemed to flow into the sea. It was black and stars seemed to swim inside.

I decided to take a bath there just because I could. After all, the rivers themselves had tried to kill me or to make me kill myself.

And I had survived, yes I suffered but ultimately they did not succeed.

I entered the waters and nothing happened. No memory loss, no burning of fire or whatever the black river did and no voices trying to lure me into it's depths.

I began to wash myself before switching to my monster form and repeating the motions.

Then after I left the pool I began to hear distant barking. It was loud and reverberated through the ground. Soon more barking and howling joined the first one.

I made the wise decision and walked away from It. But it didn't stop. Instead it grew louder and closer and I soon began to run.

What I didn't notice either was that I was moving and now running along the fire river.

And that turned out to be fatal.

As I was running, hearing the sounds of big and heavy pawn speeding up and multiplying, i noticed Kampe off in the distance. She was right where these dog or whatever they were, wanted me to go. But it was to late now. Either I let her catch me or I was going to be pursued by these dogs until I tired. I chose the third option.

I threw myself into the river next to me. Hoping to wash of my scent just so I could buy myself some time, but time was up.

I was ripped out of the river by what must have been a giant dog only to be tossed towards another. They were not gentle. With each toss I grew more injured. Soon they appeared to have had their fun and tossed me away.

I landed inside of the sea I had previously bathed in and then I sunk to the bottom.

And then I woke up.
