Percy Jackson: The Silver Wolf of the Goddess of Love

Chapter 32: Circe

Karin then spoke in Hikari head. "Don't get cover by it Love".

Hikari spoken in his head as he spoke. "What do you mean don't get cover by I-".

The trio was then covered by black spoke, meanwhile in a island, as a young woman with long pink hair, blue-green eyes and fair skin. Notably, her ears are pointed, giving her an elf-life appearance. She wears a golden tiara, a light tunic with a short skirt, and gladiator sandals.

[Insery images of Circe from Fate]

As then she heard a thud and saw 3 kids with Divin Aura falling from the sky as they all landed on eachother, as then Karin still on she snake form landed on Hikari back

Yami looked as he spoke. "Where are we"

Circe went too them kneeled down as she looked at them. "You kid just got teleported In the sea of monster"

Luke looked at her as he blineked as he spoke. "Another side quest, we re just trying to get too the sun sheep's".

Circe looker at them as she spoke. "Sorry what?".

Hikari looked at her as he spoke. "Long story".

Circe raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by their response. "A long story, huh?" She looked at them with a knowing smile, as if she could sense there was much more going on than they were letting on. "Well, it looks like the story's just gotten a bit longer. Welcome to my island—though I must admit, you weren't exactly invited."

Yami groaned. "Yeah, seems like we never get an easy ride with any of this."

Hikari shifted his weight, Karin still coiled around his back. "So, you said this is the 'Sea of Monsters'?" His voice was tinged with suspicion. "That sounds... bad. What exactly does that mean for us?"

Circe's smile turned sly. "Well, let's just say that if you're here, it's because something—or someone—wants you to be. And those of us who live here? We're very good at ensuring newcomers are... well, entertained." She gave a casual wave toward the horizon, where dark clouds swirled ominously above the ocean.

Luke narrowed his eyes. "Entertained? What does that mean exactly?"

"You'll find out soon enough," Circe said cryptically, her voice smooth like silk. "But first, let me offer you a little hospitality." She snapped her fingers, and a few steps away, a large, beautiful spread of fruits and meat appeared on a stone table, as if conjured from thin air. "After all, it's not every day that demi-gods fall out of the sky."

Hikari didn't trust it, but his stomach growled, and he shot a glance at his companions. They'd been traveling nonstop, and their energy was depleted. "I guess... it wouldn't hurt to eat, right?"

Luke hesitated. "I don't know about this. We've got a mission, remember?"

"Yeah, but we can't exactly get back to our quest if we're all starving." Hikari took a cautious step toward the table, his eyes never leaving Circe.

Yami, ever the skeptic, stayed back, eyes scanning their surroundings. "I'm not so sure about this. Something feels off."

Circe chuckled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "You know, in my world, suspicion is a sign of intelligence." She glanced at Hikari. "But I wouldn't worry too much. I don't bite… usually."

As they approached the table, Karin hissed softly in Hikari's ear, her snake form still coiled around his back. "Careful, love. I can sense magic in the air. She's hiding something."

Hikari nodded slightly, not taking his eyes off Circe. "I figured. We'll keep our guard up."

Circe noticed their wariness but didn't seem bothered. "Relax, I'm not your enemy. I simply provide a little... refuge to those who wander into my domain." She stepped aside, gesturing for them to sit at the table. "You might want to eat now, though. Because once the games begin, you'll need all the strength you can get."

Luke raised an eyebrow. "Games?"

"Yes," Circe replied with a playful grin. "The Sea of Monsters is never quiet for long. It's not just about survival here—it's about winning. And if you want to leave my island, you'll have to prove yourselves worthy."

Yami crossed his arms, his wings twitching. "Games, huh? I'm not a fan of any game that involves getting caught up in someone else's mess."

Hikari took a deep breath and turned to Circe. "What exactly do we have to do to prove ourselves worthy? We're not looking for more trouble, you know."

Circe smiled sweetly, but there was something predatory in her gaze. "Oh, it's not about looking for trouble. Trouble just tends to find those who least expect it. You see, on this island, the game is about surviving the night—and I don't mean against just the beasts of the land. There are much... darker forces at play here."

Hikari's grip tightened around his gauntlet. "Darker forces, you say? And why are you telling us this?"

Circe leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Because, darling, I want you to win. And because I like to see how mortal and immortal beings like you respond to the challenge."

Before they could respond, the ground beneath them rumbled, and distant roars echoed through the island.

Yami's eyes narrowed. "That's a warning, isn't it?"

Circe nodded, her smile widening. "Indeed. The games are about to begin."

Hikari then sighed as he raised her hand as then a Piller of Fire came out and broke too Circe hand. "Ok, I had enough of this Quest Bullshit, I don't care about your game, I don't care about what your planning, just send us back too American".

Circe smirked as she spoken. "So that why my Smoke brought you here".

Luke looked at her as he spoke. "Why?"

Circe lookee at Luke and Yami as she spoke. "You two were just by accident". She then pointed at Hikari. "As for her".

Hikari looked at her as he spoke. "I am a boy".

Circe looked at him as he spoke. "Will what ever, My smoke summons you because you have a lot of mana which means". She said in excited voice. "I finally have a student".

Hikari's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin. "A student? You brought us here for that?"

Circe grinned, clearly relishing the tension in the air. "Oh yes, exactly. You see, I've been searching for a worthy apprentice for a while now. And your powers, dear boy, are exactly what I need to complete my research. You're strong, resourceful, and most importantly—full of potential."

Luke and Yami exchanged glances, both equally confused and wary. "And what exactly is this 'research' of yours?" Luke asked, his voice skeptical. "You think we're just going to help you with some twisted experiment?"

Circe chuckled lightly, stepping back and inspecting them with a calculating gaze. "It's not an experiment, darling. It's an opportunity for you to learn from the best. I'm offering you the chance to unlock your true potential. But you must first prove your worth to me."

Hikari clenched his fists. "I didn't ask for this. We didn't come here for any of your nonsense." His voice grew louder, his anger simmering beneath the surface. "We came for a quest. We're just trying to do what we were asked to do, not play some game you set up."

Circe's smile widened, as if she found his defiance amusing. "Oh, you misunderstand. This is the quest. Everything you need to know, all the answers you seek, are right here, under your very nose. All I ask is that you accept my guidance. With your power and my experience, we could accomplish so much together."

Yami stepped forward, his wings flicking with irritation. "So you think you can just use Hikari to further your own goals? What makes you think he'd ever accept an offer from you, or anyone like you?"

Circe turned her gaze to Yami, her expression turning cold for a moment. "Because, dear boy, I know exactly what drives him. Power, control, the urge to grow stronger. That's why I know he'll come around." Her eyes flicked back to Hikari, who was still fuming. "You might deny it now, but you'll see. You're destined for greater things. And I can help you get there."

Hikari glared at her, fighting the temptation to just lash out and end this whole situation right now. He could feel Karin's presence, her calm influence in his mind, urging him to stay level-headed. Don't give in to anger, love. She's trying to manipulate you.

Hikari took a deep breath, lowering his hand and dismissing the pillar of fire. "I'm not some tool for you to use," he said, his voice more controlled now. "I'm not here to be your student or your experiment. We have a mission, and we're going to complete it. So unless you want to regret making enemies out of us, I suggest you send us back home, now."

Circe's eyes flashed, but the smile never left her lips. "Oh, I love it when they try to resist. It makes their eventual acceptance all the sweeter." She gave a small, almost pitying shake of her head. "Very well. If you insist on leaving so soon, I'll grant your request. But remember, Hikari... I'll be watching."

With a flick of her wrist, a swirling vortex of dark mist appeared around them. It hummed with an eerie power, swirling in a strange, unpredictable way.

Luke raised an eyebrow. "You're really letting us go? Just like that?"

Circe smiled, a dangerous glint in her eye. "Oh, I'm not letting you go yet. But I'll give you one chance to prove you're worthy of escaping my island. Complete my trial, and I'll send you home. Fail, and well... let's just say things will get a little more interesting."

Yami frowned. "What kind of trial are we talking about?"

Circe's smile curled up into something sinister. "You'll find out soon enough. It's a test of strength, wits, and resolve. You have three days. If you fail, I'll make sure you won't be leaving anytime soon."

With that, the mist intensified, surrounding them completely, before the world around them blurred and shifted.

The trio found themselves standing on a new, eerie landscape—a vast, barren field with twisted trees and strange, ethereal lights flickering in the distance. The air was thick with an unsettling presence, and the distant sound of something moving could be heard.

Luke muttered under his breath. "What is this place?"

Hikari looked around, his senses heightened. "I don't know... but it feels wrong. Like we're being watched."

From behind them, Circe's voice echoed in the air. "Welcome to your trial. The clock is ticking. Let's see how long you last."

The three of them exchanged wary glances, preparing themselves for whatever came next. They knew that they couldn't trust Circe, but they also couldn't ignore the fact that they were trapped in a game they hadn't agreed to play. And if they wanted to escape, they would have to face whatever horrors this trial would throw at them head-on.

Hikari clenched his fists, his resolve hardening. "We're getting out of here. Together."

With that, they began walking deeper into the ominous landscape, ready to face whatever challenge awaited them.

As the trio ventured deeper into the eerie landscape, the atmosphere grew thicker. The twisted trees, their branches gnarled and unnaturally bent, seemed to loom over them as if watching their every move. The flickering lights in the distance cast long, unsettling shadows that danced like specters in the corner of their vision. Despite the tension in the air, Hikari, Luke, and Yami pressed forward, their senses on high alert.

Suddenly, a low growl echoed from behind them, followed by the sound of something heavy moving through the trees. Hikari immediately stopped, his hand instinctively reaching for his gauntlet. His eyes scanned the surroundings, trying to locate the source of the sound.

"Stay alert," Hikari muttered, his voice low and focused. "Something's coming."

Luke narrowed his eyes and readied his weapon. "Great, so Circe's trial isn't just a test of wits. I thought she'd at least give us a heads-up about what we're facing."

Yami flared his wings slightly, preparing for any incoming threat. "Don't let your guard down. Whatever it is, it's not friendly."

A massive shape suddenly leaped from the shadows, landing with a thunderous impact in front of them. A creature with glowing red eyes and dark fur that seemed to absorb the light from around it stood before them, a monstrous, twisted wolf-like creature with spiked fur and sharp, gleaming fangs. It snarled, its growl echoing through the air as it sized them up.

Circe's voice echoed from nowhere, her laughter light and mocking. "This is just the beginning. Face your first challenge: the Fenrir Beast. It's not as powerful as the real Fenrir, but it should provide some amusement."

Hikari clenched his fists, his eyes narrowing. "A beast? Is that all you've got?"

Luke smirked. "I'm starting to get the feeling Circe isn't as clever as she thinks."

Yami's wings fluttered in a subtle movement, his eyes glowing with intensity. "We'll see about that."

The Fenrir Beast lunged, its claws slashing through the air at incredible speed. Hikari was ready, his gauntlet glowing with the heat of his flames. He darted forward with incredible speed, ducking under the beast's first swipe and landing a blow to its side. A burst of fire erupted from the strike, but the creature hardly flinched.

"It's tougher than I thought," Hikari gritted out, retreating to avoid another swipe.

Luke joined the fray, his sword flashing in the dim light as he aimed for the creature's legs. "This thing's fast, but it's not invincible."

Yami's eyes tracked the Fenrir Beast's movements, his wings creating gusts of wind that helped him stay agile. He slashed at the creature with his sword, but it dodged quickly, its movements eerily fluid. "We need to find its weak spot."

The Fenrir Beast howled, its body glowing with a faint red aura as it charged again, more aggressively this time. It was faster, angrier—its attacks more erratic and unpredictable. The trio was barely managing to keep up, using their combined strength to avoid and counter the creature's relentless assault.

Hikari growled, frustration beginning to rise. "We can't keep dodging forever. We need to end this quickly."

Suddenly, Karin's voice echoed in his mind. Use your fire on it. Focus your energy and let it burn away its strength.

Hikari gritted his teeth, nodding as he called upon the flames within him. He concentrated, drawing more heat and power from his gauntlet than ever before. His body crackled with raw energy as a massive pillar of fire erupted from his palm, shooting straight at the Fenrir Beast.

The creature yelped in surprise, but it was too late. The flames engulfed it, wrapping around its body in an intense blaze. The Fenrir Beast staggered, its fur blackened and sizzling as the fire burned away at its thick hide.

"Now's our chance!" Luke yelled.

With a final, synchronized strike, Yami, Luke, and Hikari moved in, combining their attacks to finish the beast off. Yami's wings slashed through the air, sending gusts of wind to further fuel the fire, while Luke's sword pierced the creature's underbelly, striking true.

The Fenrir Beast let out one last howl before collapsing, its body dissolving into smoke and ash. Hikari stepped back, panting but triumphant.

"That wasn't easy," Hikari said, wiping sweat from his brow. "But we did it."

Luke glanced at the dissipating remains of the creature. "If Circe thought that was going to be a challenge, she's in for a surprise."

Yami folded his wings, his eyes glowing faintly. "It's just the beginning. We're only going to face more difficult trials from here on out."

Circe's laughter echoed again, a faint mocking tone in her voice. "Very well done. But you're far from finished. That was only a warm-up, after all."

Hikari scowled, his patience running thin. "You're really pushing it, Circe. We've had enough games."

Circe's voice softened, a faint amusement lingering in her tone. "Oh, don't worry, Hikari. You'll enjoy what comes next. Trust me, it will be... memorable."

Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet trembled. The sky above darkened, and the very air seemed to grow heavier as an ominous presence descended upon them. Something far more dangerous was approaching.

Hikari, Luke, and Yami instinctively drew their weapons, their senses on high alert. The trial was far from over—and now, it was only about to get worse.

From the shadows, a monstrous figure emerged—a towering beast with multiple heads and scales that shimmered like dark gems. It was a Hydra, but one far more sinister than the legends. Each head hissed and snarled, its mouths dripping with venom and fire.

"We don't have much time," Yami muttered, watching the Hydra as it advanced. "This thing's not going down easily."

Hikari gritted his teeth. "Then we fight. Together."

With that, they charged forward once more, ready to face the next challenge in Circe's twisted trial. They wouldn't back down—not now, not ever. The only way out was through, and they would overcome whatever Circe threw at them. Together, they were unstoppable.
