Phoenix Reborn In One Piece

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: An Unexpected Visitor

Alabasta Desert.

A man with a backpack looked up at the sky, letting the large raindrops hit his face.

His eyes were deep and mysterious, as if he could see through the clouds to the endless universe.

"Ah la la la~~~"

"It looks like I don't need to keep walking anymore~~~" the man murmured, a faint smile hanging on his lips.

He seemed to have anticipated the arrival of this rain and wasn't surprised by the sight before him.

The man's gaze slowly shifted towards the distance, focusing on the direction of Alabasta's capital, Albana.

His expression became determined, as if he had made a decision. He lifted his foot and started walking step by step towards Albana.

Behind him, the dry sand turned into hard ice, forming a clear and beautiful ice plain.

This ice plain started from an uninhabited area near the sea and stretched all the way to the border near Albana.

If someone could look from high above, they would be amazed to see that the ice plain resembled a giant dragon, winding and grand.

However, due to its location deep in the desert, few people were around, and no one noticed this incredible sight.

The man walked further and further, his figure slowly disappearing into the vast desert, while the ice plain quietly lay there, bearing witness to the wonders and mysteries of the world.

Albana.

The rain is still falling.

On top of Visalia, the Dream Team is visiting this small floating island, guided by Haredas.

Haredas:

"This is the Meteorological Science Research Base—Visalia!"

Haredas proudly introduced, "Here, we research weather, climate, and other natural phenomena, and we use meteorological technology to improve people's lives and the environment."

The members of the Dream Team were very excited, looking around curiously, filled with anticipation about this mysterious place.

"Wow!!!"

"Is this meteorological science? It's so amazing!" Leah exclaimed as she ran and jumped around, eagerly exploring every corner.

Nami, on the other hand, focused on observing the meteorological equipment, trying to understand how they worked.

"Everyone, stay close to me and don't run off," Haredas reminded them as he led them into a laboratory filled with various complex instruments and equipment.

"This is the equipment we use to observe weather changes and predict the weather for the coming days," Haredas pointed to a large machine and said.

"That's incredible!!" Nami gasped, her mouth wide open in surprise.

Then, Haredas took them to other research areas, including a greenhouse studying climate change, a laboratory simulating storms, and so on.

Each place gave the Dream Team members a real eye-opener, and they gained a deeper understanding of meteorological science.

Finally, Haredas took them to an observation deck, where they could look out over the beautiful scenery of Visalia.

Sunlight streamed through the clouds, illuminating the village and the trees below, creating a breathtaking sight.

"It's truly beautiful!" Robin couldn't help but exclaim.

"Ha ha, this is one of the results of our hard work. We hope our research can bring more beauty to the world," Haredas said with a smile.

The Dream Team members nodded in agreement.

They felt the importance and meaning of meteorological science and understood that only by continuously learning and improving could they better face the unknown challenges ahead.

"Hey!"

"Haredas, what about what I asked you earlier?" Ryuen called out to Haredas.

"You mean her?" Haredas looked at Nami, his eyes full of admiration and approval.

"Huh?" Nami let out a puzzled sound, a hint of surprise on her face.

"How did you know it was me?" she asked curiously.

"Oh ho ho ho~~~"

"When I showed you around earlier, only you were able to roughly explain how those instruments worked, and you even offered your own insights. So, I figured the person Ryuen mentioned must be you," Haredas smiled faintly, gently stroking his snow-white beard, with a gleam of wisdom in his eyes.

Hearing such praise from Haredas, Nami couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.

But she still humbly smiled and said, "Ha ha... not at all, I only know a little bit."

Ryuen watched everything unfold. He had already expected Haredas to notice Nami's talent, but he didn't expect him to catch on so quickly.

So, he stepped forward and sincerely said to Haredas, "Yes, it's her! She's our navigator, Nami.

Haredas, I'd like you to teach her more about climate knowledge, to help her better understand weather changes."

Haredas nodded in understanding.

After thinking for a moment, he said seriously, "Hmm, Nami does have a talent for climate science.

But learning our climate knowledge is not easy—it requires a lot of time and effort.

However, I have a suggestion that might help you."

Everyone listened quietly, waiting for Haredas to continue.

Haredas spoke again, "I can gather some basic knowledge about climate for Nami, so she can understand the basic concepts and theories.

At the same time, we can leave a snail phone number, so you can contact me anytime.

That way, if Nami has any questions, she can reach out to me through the snail phone."

Everyone agreed, thinking it was a great idea.

It would allow Nami to learn quickly, stay in touch with Haredas, and solve problems in time, without delaying their voyage.

Nami said excitedly, "That's great, thank you, Haredas. Don't worry, I will work hard to learn all this knowledge!"

Haredas smiled at Nami and encouraged her, "Young one, there's no need to thank me. I believe with your intelligence, you'll surely master this knowledge. I hope your future adventures go smoothly."

With that, Haredas turned and walked toward his home to start organizing the relevant materials.

"The technology they have here for climate control is really amazing. They can actually use artificial methods to briefly change the climate of a place," Nami said, her eyes shimmering with a thirst for knowledge.

"I still can't believe it. There really is a sky island in this world~~~" Hog murmured as he looked at the beautiful scenery around him.

"That means the sky island we're going to must also exist!" Kuina said firmly, her eyes sparkling with the thrill of adventure.

When Kuina said that, everyone started to feel excited!

Their adventure was truly becoming more and more interesting~~~~~~
