Pokemon: Ace's Adventures!

Chapter 58: Chapter 58:Pokemon Pile!

Ace's consciousness stirred as his body slowly roused from sleep. His eyelids fluttered open, revealing the sterile white ceiling above him. The familiar scent of antiseptic filled his nostrils, and as he turned his head slightly, he took in the sight of the hospital room. The soft beeping of medical monitors and the distant murmurs of nurses outside confirmed his location—Fuchsia City's hospital.

He exhaled deeply, pushing himself upright on the hospital bed. His body still felt a little sore from the events at Grampa Canyon, but there was no sharp pain, only a lingering stiffness.

'Guess Clefable's healing and my own power really did the trick…' he mused, stretching his arms above his head before rolling his shoulders.

His mind drifted back to the canyon incident two days ago—Hunter J's capture, the fierce battles, the discovery of his new abilities. Apparently, after everything settled, everyone had been transported to Fuchsia City. Some were brought here for medical treatment, like himself, while others—mainly the captured grunts and Hunter J herself—were taken in for processing.

From what he heard before passing out from those painful injections, PSKM Jail was the destination for Hunter J. It was supposedly the most secure prison in the entire Pokémon world, reserved for only the worst criminals. 'Wonder what the hell PSKM even stands for…' Ace pondered briefly before shaking his head. 'Eh, not important. What matters is that she's finally off the grid.' He also knew no one will dare to come and save her because Champion Blue Himself will be escorting her.

With a sigh, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stood up. There was no resistance, no sharp pains—his body felt normal. 'Yup, I'm back to full strength.'

Not wanting to stay cooped up in the room, he quietly made his way out into the dimly lit hospital hallway. The nurses were too busy with their work to notice him slipping by. He walked through the quiet corridors until he found a stairwell that led to the rooftop.

The moment Ace stepped outside, a cool night breeze greeted him. The city below was peaceful, bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. The sky was clear, filled with twinkling stars that stretched endlessly above. He walked over to the edge and sat down, resting his arms on his knees.

As he gazed at the stars, his blue eyes shimmered… then shifted—turning into a mesmerizing rainbow glow.

Ace clenched his fists, his heart beating with excitement. 'I finally understand it… my power.'

It wasn't just one ability. No, it was a combination of multiple powerful traits found in the Pokémon world.

Aura: He could sense Pokémon's emotions, understand their feelings, and even connect with them on a deep level.

Psychic Powers: Telepathic communication with his Pokémon, issuing commands without speaking.

Viridian Power: The ability to heal himself and his Pokémon, something only a few rare individuals possessed.

Battle Bond: A deep synchronization that allowed him to fight alongside his Pokémon, moving in perfect harmony—though unlike Ash's Greninja, it wouldn't physically change their forms.

Sketch: The most broken ability of them all. He could copy and use any Pokémon move as if he were a Pokémon himself.

The memory of Grampa Canyon flashed through his mind—when he instinctively used Teleport to appear beside Smeargle. At that moment, he had unknowingly copied the move from Smeargle's vast movepool.

A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. 'If I can copy one move… then what else can I do? How far can I take this?'

Excitement bubbled inside him as he clenched his fists. 'There's only one way to find out… I need to train. I need to push my limits.'

His rainbow-colored eyes gleamed under the moonlight as he made a silent promise to himself—he would master this power. And once he was out of this hospital, he would begin training with his Pokémon like never before.

The morning sun shone brightly over Fuchsia City, marking the beginning of a new day. The city was peaceful, with a gentle breeze rustling through the trees, and the sounds of chirping bird Pokémon filling the air.

Inside the Fuchsia City Hospital, Ace stood near his hospital bed, stretching his arms and rolling his shoulders. His injuries were completely healed, thanks to both Clefable's healing and his own mysterious power that he hadn't named yet. (Comment some good names for it.)

Near the door, Serena, Dawn, and May stood watching him with smiles on their faces.

Serena crossed her arms. "Finally, you're good to go." She huffed, her eyes narrowing. "I swear I'll drag you back to that bed myself if you ever tried to run off like last night."

Dawn giggled. "You're lucky Clefable healed most of your injury. Otherwise, you'd still be stuck here."

May sighed in relief. "Seriously, Ace, you had us worried. And do you know how hard it was keeping your pokémon from storming in every hour?"

Ace chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Alright, alright, I get it. I really appreciate you three staying with me." He smiled genuinely. "Thanks, it means a lot."

The three girls exchanged glances before smiling back at him.

With everything settled, the four of them left the hospital and made their way toward the Pokémon Center.

As soon as they stepped inside, they were greeted by Gary, Ash, Brock, and Misty, who had been waiting for them.

Ash grinned widely. "Yo, Ace! You're finally out!"

Brock nodded in aggreement. "About time. We were starting to think we'd have to drag you out ourselves."

Misty smirked. "I was betting Nurse Joy would have to tie you down to keep you resting."

Ace laughed. "Come on, I wasn't that bad."

Gary smirked. "Yeah, right. If the girls weren't here to keep you in check, you'd probably have run off already."

Ace sighed before rubbing the back of his neck. His expression softened, and he looked at everyone sincerely. "Also… I just wanted to say sorry for all the trouble Smeargle caused back at Grampa Canyon."

Ash shook his head, placing a hand on Pikachu's head. "Don't be. I get why Smeargle reacted the way he did." He glanced at Pikachu, who nuzzled into his touch. "If I were in your place… I know Pikachu would have done the same thing."

"Pika!" Pikachu chirped in agreement.

Ace felt a weight lift off his shoulders at Ash's words. "Thanks, man."

At that moment, a Chansey waddled over, balancing a tray of eleven small Pokéballs. She carefully set them down on the counter before giving Ace a cheerful smile.

"Chansey~!"

Ace stepped forward and ran his fingers over each Pokéball. His Pokémon—his partners, his family. He had been unconscious when they were taken for healing, so this was his first time holding them again after Two whole days.

Looking at Chansey, he smiled. "Thanks, Chansey."

"Chansey~!" she replied before waddling away.

With Ace's Pokémon back, the group headed toward the training grounds behind the Pokémon Center. The open field was vast, allowing trainers to battle and practice freely.

Ace took a deep breath, excitement bubbling inside him. He grabbed all eleven Pokéballs and tossed them into the air. "Alright, everyone! Come on out!"

In a flash of bright light, all of Ace's Pokémon appeared before him. His team looked strong and full of energy, but before he could say a word—

BAM!

Ace was suddenly tackled to the ground as all of his Pokémon , except Aerodactyle, piled onto him.

"Alright—! Alright, I get it—! I'm okay—!" Ace gasped, struggling to breathe under the weight of his affectionate team. His Pokémon nuzzled against him, licking his face, and rubbing their heads against his body.

The others burst into laughter at the sight, watching as Ace's Pokémon practically smothered him in their overwhelming love.

Misty chuckled. "Well, I guess that proves just how much they missed him."

Brock grinned. "That's what a strong bond between trainer and Pokémon looks like."

Serena, Dawn, and May smiled at each other, knowing full well that Ace was the kind of trainer who would always put his Pokémon before himself.

Ace, still buried under his Pokémon, let out a muffled chuckle. "Alright, alright, I missed you guys too! But let me breathe, please—!"

His Pokémon barked, chirped, and growled happily, making no effort to move.

The others continued to laugh as the heartwarming scene played out before them, all the while Aerodactyle appeared confused on what to do.
