Chapter 4: Julia Duncan x Cecilia Laroux: Chapter 4
Julia opened her eyes, then got up. She rushed to the kitchen and found Cecilia burned her stove. She grabbed her fire extinguisher, then sprayed the foam on the stove until there was no sign of fire.
Cecilia still stood, coldly staring at the burnt stove. “What are you...”
“I’m hungry.” She exclaimed. Julia sighed and scratched her hair. She wants to talk, but Cecilia sits on the couch.
Julia sighed, then kneeled in front of her. “Can you wake me?” Their gaze met, but she looked another way. Julia scoffed and sighed.
“Alright. I...”
“I’m sorry...” Julia furrowed her brow. “I should wake you up.” Julia takes out the bread from the counter, then she makes a sandwich for both.
“Just... forget it.” Cecilia looks at her. They did not speak for a while until Julia opened the conversation as she created Hollandaise sauce. “If you asked... what kind person, am I...” She walks with two plates of sandwiches in her hand and a small bowl of Hollandaise sauce.
“I never asked.” Her expression is flat and neutral. Julia smiled slightly, nodding her head.
“True. You never asked.” She pours the Hollandaise sauce on the top of the sandwich, then put the silverware on the side of the plate. “Do you want milk, Princess?”
Cecilia nods her head slightly, then she starts to devour the sandwich. Julia brings two tall glasses of milk and pours it into the glass.
“Can I ask what kind brand of the milk is?” Cecilia asked.
Julia glancing and nodding her head. “Canberra’s Diary Milk. You know... Larry Smith,” Ceclia furrowed her brow. “I mean... Baron of Canberra? He has a farm in south-east Nomani, and this is one of his products.” Cecilia nods her head slightly.
“Can you bring this to our estate?” Julia nodded her head and smiled playfully.
“I’m glad finally my wife... likes a commoner's brand.” Cecilia’s face warmth. “So... what’s your agenda today?”
Cecilia pours the milk again into her glass, then Julia’s. “I will go to one of the orphanages... what about you?”
Julia raised her eyebrow. She’s a bit jolted back. Julia’s heart beating fast, but her expression remains calm. “I will go to the Courtyard. The Royals want to discuss... TFX. Do you want to join me?” Cecilia nodded and hummed.
“Ah... right.” She puts her knife and fork, then checks her knee. “I should change your band-aid.” Julia stood up to pick up the first-aid kit.
“Why you so care?” Her voice was cold and detached. “Why you...”
“I just want to take care of my wife. Is it illegal?” Julia stared into her eyes, as she raised her brow. Cecilia withdraws herself, then lets her change the band-aid.
None of them dared to talk. Julia focused on tending her wound. “Have you... thinking to have a baby?” Cecilia furrowed her brow. “Let’s just... we discuss it later, okay?” Cecilia nodded her head slightly.
Julia put the first aid kit on the coffee table, then put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. “Can I ask your question? This is personal” Julia sits next to her wife on the couch, then looked at her.
Cecilia looked into Julia’s eyes. The air feels thin and hot around them. Julia sticks her lips to hers, then she pulled her nape to deepen the kiss.

Julia opened her office door, then looked at Rose. “You are almost late... it’s not you. What’s wrong?” Julia picked the tablet from Rose’s hand and looked at her.
“How's the drones?”
Rose nodding her head and giving Julia the report. “You’re right, Julia. Most of the police stations were raided these months. We found a transaction around 10.000 GOLDIN before the raid happened. Now... the Finance...”
“Freeze all those accounts and track who’s behind the transactions. I want it now!” Rose nodded her head, then went outside. Julia took a deep breath before she entered the Senates.
All eyes followed her figure with tablet and report paper on her hand. She is standing on the podium, then sighs. “I hope... you did not tarnish your clan like your father did last year.” His word sharp like a sword
Julia heard a chuckled, then her eyes glance every single row inside the Senates room. “TFX already raided all police stations, and it’s followed by suspicious transaction to him.”
“You!” Julia glared at him. “How dare you tarnish my family name...” Julia’s heart wants to jump out from its place. Her expression remains calm.
The guard in steel armor held Baron Amber. Julia played the recording that she recorded as evidence. “...Tonight, I declare war on the rich! To go against Queen Julia Duncan-Laroux and her wife! We spread terror amongst them! We raided their houses! We burned their dead bodies, then... we stole... their wives and made them work for us! And today... on this beautiful memorable night. George Amber III! Son of Baron Rick Amber of South Gallahan... will joined the brotherhood and sisterhood.” The crowd cheered as George III raised his hand.
Julia’s pauses the video, followed by Rose arrival. She whispers something to her ear. Julia nodded her head, then sighed. “It’s already confirmed. All the transaction was from under his name, Baron of Gallahan...”
Baron Amber’s body trembling. All of them sit in their place, silent. None of them dare to speak. Cecilia watching in the distance with a veil covering her head. Julia sighed and tapped her finger.
“I will wipe them all today... including you and your son! If he refuses to cooperate... I’m sorry, Mr. Amber. I should... hanged him with the rest of the members.”
“Baron of South Gallahan...” a cold voice echoing the Senate as Cecilia walked into the Senate room elegantly. All the Lords inside the court were not aware. She keeps walking to the witness stand.
Julia sighed and looked at her wife. “What do you know about this...”
“All of them...” Cecilia put all the photographs of George III and Lord Amber on her podium, then transferred to Julia’s tablet. She remains calm and detached. Julia showed it to the screen.
A loud gasped from the senates and whispers filled the room. Julia only stared at Cecilia’s cold demeanor and sighed.

Julia opened her cupboard and put on her gold armor. Cecilia walks into her office. Her expression was cold but concerned. She keeps waiting patiently until Julia is done with her activity. “You did a great job.”
Julia is not aware of her praise, she’s chuckling. “Are you...”
“No. Lord Duncan and I... just a friend.” Julia nodded her head, then sighed.
Julia, wearing her boots, then put her sword and handgun on her waist. She approached her ‘beloved’ wife, who was standing in front of the door. “You don’t...”
“I’ll be waiting at our estate.” Cecilia left her without looking at her back. She just smirked and sighed.
“Glad that Playboy bastard broke your heart... I think nature... already fated us...” she mumbled as she saw Cecilia’s back faint from her view.
