Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2437 Raining Monkeys

2437  Raining Monkeys

Yanwu's body suddenly emitted dozens of light beams shooting out in weird angles as he flew around the opponent.

The opponent had to dodge and block the rays and that left an opening for Yanwu, the one he was looking for. Without even noticing, the opponent himself flew into the line of fire of Yanwu and then came his bloodline attack.

The golden inferno burned the opponent and obliterated his defenses.

Yanwu and shadow mouse together finished the opponent off.

The other battles had similar outcomes. The easiest one among the beasts was surprisingly for the void hopper. On the sole reason that he didn't need the assistance of the shadow mouse, he beat the rest of the beasts in speed of dealing with the opponent.

The hopper just got so skilled with the spatial tears and transmission as well as the stabilization of space, the opponent couldn't even find a way to shoot.

When he did shoot arrows, the spatial tears redirected them back to him.

And before he knew it, he was surrounded by the spatial tears. He found himself in the middle of the unstable space. Then… the space collapsed.

The man tried to escape desperately. He was barely alive, but his body was torn apart, infested with spatial energy corrupting him to the very core. Even if he managed to stay alive, there is no way he would recover to his former level. At least not with the conventional methods.

Hopper and Yanwu who finished of their opponents first, went to assist the others. Meanwhile, the Bison herd was almost controlled. The mercenary leaders did manage to gang up on the Bison leader, but couldn't kill it.

It escaped from their grasp using its berserk state.

The mercenaries who were about to help their current owners in their fight were met with Sam and the rest of his beasts who just finished their own battles.

The battle despite taking an hour to finish, was an overwhelming win to Sam and his beasts. Once the place is cleared, Sam took out some metal pillars from his storage and started the reconstruction of the city's defense.

The city is mostly done for, but there are some residual structures left. With some tweaks here and there, he managed to not only restore, but also enhance the security measures of the city, to the point that they are now incomparable to the previous ones.

Another reason, it was easy is because Sam didn't plan to occupy and develop the city.

Instead, it was just an empty and destroyed city. That was all. The defense formation only served two purposes. To act as a symbol of Sam's occupation over the city and the second one is to protect the message that he left behind.

And that message was what irked the rest of the Hou Yi team members in the continent, when it was relayed by the scouts that appeared to check out the situation of this city, at a later time on that day.

In the middle of the city area, protected by the dome, there was a large flag, standing stand and proud. And on that flag there was only one word and a symbol.

The symbol of two 'S' intertwined together along with the word. Sam.

If the formation acts as a defense signifying Sam's intent to occupy that city, that flag is a declaration. Him declaring his presence or domination of that land, it was a declaration of his victory over the Hou Yi team.

The worst part is that, Sam just threw the beaten and battered members of the Hou Yi team and the rest of their forces, outside the formation.

When the other forces and came to take care of these people, they noticed one thing. None of these defeated members were looted.

Their spatial rings were intact, their weapons were still there. Sam didn't take away anything from them. They were also not healed, clearly showing their state after the battle.

Many of the team members didn't understand what was going on.

Even the members that were out performing their duties were informed about this in detail and they were also confused.

"Why would he even leave them behind? If I defeated Sam, I would have stripped him naked. There are way too many things in the hands of geniuses. There is no way that someone is not tempted."

"True that. Half the battles across the realms are to obtain what other person had. But Sam not only took them down, but he just threw them out and didn't touch anything. Fuck, even if held them hostage, he would have made it big.

Just Imari is worth a shit ton of resources."

Two members of Arkiv's team were discussing as they followed him around. They are checking the defense mechanism of the city. Well, it was mostly Arkiv checking and these two following him around acting as if they were doing it.

"I wonder what he was trying to do? I heard our leader thinks that there is some hidden message behind it. What could it be?"

"It was a statement." Arkiv suddenly said, interrupting their conversation.

Both of them turned to look at him in askance.

"Sam is making a statement. Those injured bodies and leaving them behind and not touching the loot, it is his way of saying that he just defeated the team because he wanted to defeat them.

Even keeping that city empty, with no intent of restoration.

He is saying that he occupied the city, just because he wanted to take it from our hands. There was no goal or aspiration behind it, other than defeating us."

Both of them realized it. It definitely made sense and that made them angry.

"That son of a bitch. He is cocky. That's for sure."

"Anyway, I am sure our forces will take over that place and let's see what he will do then. I am sure he might have used some of this tricks to catch Imari off guard."

They kept on discussing and Arkiv kept silent. But in his head, he ran out of words to criticize the stupidity of these people.

If all Sam did was use his tricks, then there won't be a need to leave such an elaborate trail of evidence behind. Sam left them and the ruined city as they were to show that he doesn't need all of those tricks to beat them up.

Of course, maybe Arkiv understood this, because he knew the plan from the start or maybe he understood Sam better than the rest.

But he is sure, that even these numbskulls will understand this as the plan progresses.

And that is what exactly happened.

The team that went to rescue Imari and her team were enraged by the flag and the dome. They tried to destroy it. However, their usual attacks that should have destroyed the formation became useless. The formation just repelled most of the damage.

When they became enraged enough they launched some high level attacks. But that turned out to be a mistake. The moment they did, the formation reacted weirdly, the energy that was being drawn by the formation from the surrounding formations, was forcefully sent back to the formation nodes and then to the energy reservoirs, which are just spiritual energy veins.

But due to this return, the formation nodes destabilized the energy. The energy that was sent back, destabilized the whole reservoir and an explosion ensued. The shockwave mangled the people surrounding the formation.

By the time everything settled, there was nothing left in the city area, except for the flag that was still standing tall and proud.

That wasn't even the start of it.

When that explosion was mauling them, Sam already moved onto the next target. Another city under the control of the Hou Yi team.

The city had some strategic value, with it being the frontline city at the border of the continent. On the other side, there are some other academy teams waiting to use this as their entry point into the continent.

This one also happened to be the last city that got the news about Sam's number on their city.

The leader of the city, a young man immediately called for a meeting and explained the situation.

"We cannot count on our regular means with a guy like Sam. He defies common sense. So, we need to be prepared. Instead of fighting him head on, let's turn this city into a trap. Even if he we lose this city, its fine as long as we can take him down.

Now, I have some initial ideas that I want to implement."

The leader was serious and he indeed prepared a lot.

However, at that time, one of the merc leaders entered the room.

"Boss, something is wrong."

"What happened?"

"Its raining monkeys on the city."

*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

As he spoke, along with the noise of high impact, the building they were in rumbled. Before they could make sense of it, their roof burst open and from there, two figures appeared.
