Reborn as the saiyan omni-king

Chapter 12: Angelic Godess

Her purple angel tongue flicked out, caressing my cheek with a warm wetness that sent a jolt through my body. The gesture was both tender and predatory, a declaration of her intentions and her attraction to the power I exuded. My heart raced, not just from the electricity of her touch, but from the weight of what our union could mean for the cosmos.

"What was that for?" I managed to ask, my voice a low rumble.

Her laughter was like the darkest of symphonies, echoing through the vast emptiness of the chamber. "If you continue to amuse and intrigue me," she purred, her eyes gleaming with mischief, "I shall bestow upon you more than just a simple lick."

I stepped back, my expression unyielding despite the warmth that spread through my body. "Make no mistake, Erebus," I warned, my voice a thunderclap in the quiet space. "Should you choose to betray me or harm what is mine, I will not hesitate to cast you back into the void."

Her smile never wavered, but there was a glint in her eyes, a spark of challenge that told me she took my words to heart. "I assure you, my love," she said, the endearment rolling off her tongue like liquid darkness, "I have no desire to corrupt your creation. After all, what is power without something to rule over?"

With a gesture that was both regal and menacing, I opened a portal to my throne room. The swirling vortex of energy danced before us, a bridge between the desolate void and the opulent heart of my Palace. Erebus's eyes lit up, the gleam of the gold and blue of the room beyond reflecting in her pupils.

As we stepped through the portal, the air was thick with the scent of surprise and tension. Vados and Macarita, my trusted confidants, were present, their eyes wide with shock as they took in the sight of the once-revered angel standing before them. They had not expected my visit to result in such an...acquaintance.

"Mother?" Vados breathed, her eyes narrowing as she took a step forward.

Erebus's head snapped in her direction, the crimson glow in her eyes flickering with recognition. "Vados," she murmured, the hint of a smile playing on her lips. "How delightful to find you here, serving the very being who brought about your ancestor's downfall."

Vados's expression remained stoic, yet I could feel the tension coiling in the air like a serpent ready to strike. "You dare to speak of obedience?" she hissed, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "You, who have been cast out, forgotten?"

Ignoring the barb, Erebus swept her gaze over the room, taking in every detail with a predatory grace that sent a shiver down my spine. "Ah, yes," she said, her voice like velvet over a blade. "The Godly Potara Earrings. I see you've made quite the collection, my dear Kyle."

Her words were like a dance, flitting between sarcasm and genuine curiosity. "And tell me," she continued, turning to me, "have you managed to tame these fiery spirits of yours? To make them bend to your will as the cosmos does?"

The room grew quiet, the weight of her question hanging in the air like an unspoken challenge. I met her gaze, my own red eyes unwavering. "They serve me, as all should," I said, my voice a low rumble. "But they are not to be underestimated. Their strength and cunning are assets to our reign."

Vados and Macarita exchanged a look that spoke volumes—they knew the truth behind my words. They were more than just loyal subjects; they were a part of the cosmic dance that was my rule.

Erebus chuckled, a sound that seemed to echo through the very fabric of the Palace. "I am sure they are quite the handful," she said, her eyes lingering on the two angels before returning to me. "But fear not, I shall be more than willing to show them the true meaning of obedience, should they ever cross us."

Her tone was playful, yet the edge to her words was undeniable. It was clear that she saw this as a test, a way to gauge my response to potential threats within our own court.

"Welcome, Erebus," I said, my voice carrying the authority of an Omni King. "Your power is indeed formidable, and I have no doubt that together we shall reshape the multiverse. But do not forget that while you stand at my side, you are also accountable to me."

Her smile grew wider, a hint of challenge in her eyes. "Of course," she murmured, bowing her head slightly. "For now, I am yours to command."

The words sent a thrill through me, a promise of the power we could wield together. Yet, deep within, I couldn't shake the feeling that our alliance was a precarious one, a delicate balance that could easily tip into chaos.

The tension in the room was palpable as the three of us regarded each other—Vados and Macarita with wary eyes, Erebus with a gleam of excitement and ambition, and myself, the calm center of the storm, holding the reins of a power that could either unite or destroy the infinite cosmos.

"Vados, Macarita," I said, my voice echoing through the vast chamber, "Your vigilance is as ever the cornerstone of our rule. Monitor the multiverse for any signs of discord. Should the need arise, do not hesitate to call upon me."

With a nod, they both disappeared in a flash of light, leaving Erebus and me alone amidst the grandeur of the Palace. The sudden silence was deafening, the air charged with the unspoken understanding that our world had shifted irrevocably.

Erebus's smile grew, the corners of her crimson mouth turning upwards like the crescents of a blood moon. "Finally," she whispered, "A chance to speak freely without the constraints of those who dare to question us."

With that, the grandiose formality of our earlier conversation dissipated like smoke in a cosmic breeze. We dropped the royal "we" and "thy" and switched to a language that would make a Saiyan blush. "Look, Kyle," she said, her voice dropping to a more casual tone, "I know you're the big cheese around here, but even you gotta admit, a millennium is a long-ass time to play dress-up."
