Chapter 481: The Uninhibited Female Giant
The Female Giant was incredibly powerful; the fierce and mighty monster stood no chance against her.
Though a mere large tree wasn't enough to severely injure it, the impact unavoidably disrupted its possibility of flying away and escaping, causing it to crash to the ground due to the immense force transmitted through the tree trunk.
"Roar..."
The monster let out a thunderous roar and suddenly spewed out a breath of scorching flames, but as a circle of cold light emerged around the Female Giant, she blocked the fiery attack.
Then, with long strides, she quickly approached the beast, knocking it to the ground with a punch.
The monster roared in anger, flipping back up and flapping its wings to rush forward, determined to fight to the death with the Female Giant.
However, before it could reach her, she suddenly lifted a huge Wolf Fang Club and sent it flying away with a swing.
With a pained howl, the monster prepared to flap its wings and fly away, only to see the Female Giant casually throwing the Wolf Fang Club at it, striking its head.
Right after, before the monster could recover from its dizziness, the Female Giant pounced forward, grabbed the monster's wings, and ruthlessly tore them off.
Blood sprayed everywhere, and the monster's cries filled the air.
Knowing it had no hope of escape without its wings, it no longer thought of fleeing and instead launched a desperate counterattack, hoping to severely injure the Female Giant before dying.
Of course, the monster was a fierce creature. If death was inevitable, it chose the most violent way to go.
However, its strength paled in comparison to the Female Giant's, and its so-called desperate counterattack was futile under her overwhelming power. Not only did the blow not harm her, but she promptly knocked it to the ground with a few punches and kicks.
Inside the tree hollow, Qin Feng watched, astounded.
The monster's strength was significant indeed, perhaps even on par with any Purple Mansion Spiritual Beast under his command if it could fully unleash its power.
Yet such strength was like a sheep encountering a wolf in front of the Female Giant—utterly incapable of escape.
As Qin Feng was utterly engrossed in watching, he suddenly sensed something wrong.
The Female Giant had aggressively swung the monster's tail and, after spinning around, brutally hurled it in his direction.
It wasn't that the Female Giant had discovered Qin Feng.
Qin Feng was excellent at concealing his presence, and as he watched quietly from the tree hollow, plus the Female Giant herself was not adept at exploratory spells, it didn't cross her mind that someone might be hiding and watching from the shadows.
Her decision to smash the monster in his direction was due to the large tree Qin Feng was in appearing more robust than the surrounding ones, leading her to subconsciously aim the monster's body at it, hoping to use the tree's rebound force to break the monster's bones.
However, when the monster's massive body hit the tree, it unexpectedly splintered the seemingly stout tree with a crack, breaking it in half!
Not only was the Female Giant mildly stunned, but even the monster, ready to be broken and torn, felt a wave of oddity—this was not at all the scenario it had anticipated!
As the Female Giant was momentarily distracted, she also spotted Qin Feng in the tree hollow.
"@¥#&#¥..."
She uttered something incomprehensible to Qin Feng.
Qin Feng frowned.
While hesitating whether to try and communicate with the Female Giant in another way, he suddenly noticed a shadow over his head.
It turned out the Female Giant had stepped forward, arriving at the front of the broken tree trunk.
That in itself was still bearable; what was key was that the Female Giant was only wrapped in a simple piece of Beast Skin around her lower body, her long legs taller than the tree trunk Qin Feng was in by a good margin. As she walked closer, what lay between her legs was partially visible!
"Uh?"
Qin Feng's eyes went wide, almost bulging out of their sockets.
Were women of the Giant Clan always so unrestrained?
But with the Giants being many times larger than humans, the proportions of their bodies were vastly different. Surely... there wasn't much to see, right?
So when the Female Giant approached, Qin Feng quickly covered his eyes with his hands, not daring to continue looking.
Otherwise, if he saw certain mysterious areas, he feared he would develop an inferiority complex.
After all, he was just a normal member of the Human Clan, and although he was quite confident compared to his cousin Qin Yang, by the body proportions of the Giants, his... well, it wouldn't even measure up to an earthworm.
The Female Giant said something else, but seeing that Qin Feng was not responding, she reached out with her large hand to grab him!
Though Qin Feng had no idea if the Female Giant was a cannibal, he had no desire to experience being held in her grasp.
So his body flashed with a green light, as he once again employed the Wood Escape Divine Power to flee along the essence of wood.
With a loud bang, the Female Giant's palm shattered the remaining half of the tree trunk, sending splinters flying, but she caught nothing.
As for Qin Feng, he had already used his Escape Skill to flee the area.
The female giant paused, ruffling through the splintered wood with her hand, but she could not find any sign of Qin Feng.
However, unlike the giants Qin Feng encountered yesterday, this female giant was evidently very intelligent.
She quickly dispersed her spiritual power and followed the scent left by Qin Feng's Wood Escape Divine Power, soon catching a trace of him.
Bang!
She fiercely threw her Wolf Fang Club, smashing it into a large tree.
With a thunderous crash, Qin Feng was sent tumbling out of the shattered trunk, somewhat in disarray; the female giant's strength was overwhelmingly fierce, and even his formidable Physical Body Power nearly left him with severe injuries.
"Indeed, there isn't a single giant in the Giant World that is easy to deal with, especially those from a high-rank world!"
Qin Feng let out a bitter laugh.
This was just a random encounter with a female giant, and if he were to face a master of the Giant Clan or an army, he would surely be in a dire situation.
This reminded him of the giants from the Giant Spirit Realm—the world of giants—that were part of the All Realms United Army which had attacked the Biluo Great World during the Ancient Great Tribulation.
Moreover, it was a high-rank world.
Otherwise, it would not have caused so much damage to Biluo.
One of the Beast Taming Sect's rivals, an elder ancestor from the Giant Spirit Sect, was able to achieve the Immortal Golden Immortal status through the Body Refining Technique by hunting powerful members of the Giant Spirit Clan—precisely because the giants of the Giant Spirit Realm were so formidable, providing him with the opportunity to advance.
Though Qin Feng had only seen the tip of the iceberg of this world, the few giants and monsters he had encountered in the past two days, coupled with the forest that was far taller than any ordinary vegetation, made him suspect this could be a world of giants.
Of course, whether it actually was remained to be seen. After all, he hadn't yet left this forest, had not truly seen the real face of this world, nor had he communicated with any of this world's sentient beings, so he couldn't jump to conclusions just yet.
However, at the very least, he could confirm that the giants of this world were very powerful—likely even ordinary giants, once mature, would possess the strength to contend with the Purple Mansion.
Like the giants he encountered yesterday, that somewhat immature young giant was already no weaker than a cultivator who had just entered the Purple Mansion. Those who followed were also formidable, and the one he met today definitely had the war power to contend with a Dharma Image Cultivator.
Of course, Qin Feng felt these giants were limited in their techniques; in a one-on-one fight, they definitely wouldn't be a match for Human Clan cultivators of the same level. After all, these giants tended to rely more on physical combat, similar to Body Cultivation, but they didn't have as many techniques as the Body Cultivators of the Human Clan.
In the Human Clan, Body Cultivation was a unique cultivation heritage—still part of the cultivator lineage, a Body Technique that cultivators derived by drawing inspiration from other races with strong physical bodies, enabling them to possess both a formidable physical body and various Physical Body Divine Powers!
The Giant Clan, on the other hand, relied more on bloodline inheritance and fighting with their natural brawn. In terms of creating new techniques, they were definitely far behind the Human Clan Cultivators.
This was also why the Human Clan was recognized as the leader among all beings.
Even in many Different Worlds, despite their frail strength and their dependence on the protection of the divine they worshipped, humans tirelessly sought ways to become more powerful, learning techniques from other races to strengthen themselves and forging various tools and weapons for their use.
And the Giant Clan?
Qin Feng glanced at the massive Wolf Fang Club lying in front of him. While acknowledging the immense strength of giants, he couldn't help but shake his head.
It was too primitive!
It was nothing more than a thick tree trunk roughly embedded with teeth and bone spurs from some monsters—such weapons were not only inferior to those wielded by Cultivators in the Cultivation World, but even village blacksmiths could forge better weapons.
Of course, they couldn't compete with the scale of weapons held by giants.
However, Qin Feng wasn't underestimating the giants.
The simplicity of the giants' weapons was because their own strength was more than sufficient, and even without the aid of weapons, they could handle most battles, so they didn't bother to innovate and create new weapons.
Like the monster earlier, it was effortlessly defeated by the female giant, who even ripped off its wings with brute force.
Furthermore, not all giant weapons were so basic. As Qin Feng knew, the Giant Spirit Divine Clan from the Giant Spirit Realm was very skilled at forging various formidable Divine Weapons and Armor!
Years ago, when Qin Feng was traveling through the Otherworld Continent, he had also encountered Flame Giants in the Underworld, which knew how to utilize underground magma to forge weapons.
Besides, once a giant's strength reached a certain level, such as igniting Divine Fire and condensing Divine Status, they could also use the power of their Divine Status to refine powerful Divine Weapons for themselves, or other various Divine Artifacts!
Given the formidable life force of the Giant Clan and their presence in a high-rank world, Qin Feng refused to believe the giants in this world could not achieve divinity.
In such a world, there should be no shortage of giants who had become gods!
Just as Qin Feng was contemplating, the female giant, her eyes gleaming, lunged eagerly towards him.
She clearly found this member of the Human Clan intriguing, so she ignored the monster lying severely wounded on the ground—not yet dead—and focused solely on capturing Qin Feng.
Instinct told her there must be some secret on Qin Feng, considering his rare ability to merge with the trees and escape through them, something she had never seen before.
Thus, she wanted to capture Qin Feng and take him back to her Tribe for a thorough interrogation.
