"Hey, bald man, Where's the golden sword?" Lexus asked while still thinking about how to take the whole thing with him.

"M...my hand," the Bald Bandit replied; his voice was shaky as if sobbing.

"I don't need your hand," Lexus said while he felt the people outside were increasing in numbers.

"C...come here, I've got the sword." The bald man replied once again, and Lexus immediately went to the bald man while wearing the grand steel armor.

Lex's got a simple theory: if he can't take all the loot, he has to take the best item to sell and manage his travel expenses.

"Wait, it's in my ring; I'll give it to you." Bald man while tears were still coming down from his cheeks, but Lexus didn't care; he saw the purple-colored small in the bald man's hand, which looked lucrative.

Lexus with his silver sword immediately severed the finger that had the ring on it before the bald man could pull any tricks.

As soon as he got out of the cave, he looked around; there were hundreds of people. It was not an army, though; some people were on the trees, some on the hill; they didn't look like they belonged to one group at all.

"Who are you guys?" Silver Armoured Lexus asked in a different voice than usual, and his size was also bigger than a twelve-year-old's.

"Who are you? Whoever you are, get out of here. We're here to capture a noble brat." A person with white hair and a beard spat and looked impatient.

"Hmm? I might help you with that because I was inside, remember? " Lexus said while walking slowly towards the old man with white hair.

"Oh!! Yes, we're searching for a person who has pink-colored hair and eyes. He's young, like twelve years old, and is wearing simple cultivation clothes," the old man said with an eager face.

"You're stupid. The brat you're talking about isn't a brat at all. Who are these?" Lexus went closer to the old man and asked in a low voice while pointing at the people who were eagerly looking towards the cave entrance.

"Well, my friend, These are small mercenaries; they are here to get rewarded from the Regent himself. So tell me, where is the brat? " The old man asked with a greed in his eyes.

Then Lexus looked at the people who were blind with greed and didn't even flinch when he came out because they were here for a twelve-year-old who should be small and beautiful.

"Wow, pedophiles," Lexus spat, then smiled at the old man. The old man frowned because this full-helm-wearing knight was behaving weirdly.

"Alright, listen to me, everyone. I've seen that brat," Lexus yelled at the top of his lungs towards everyone present.

"Oh! Tell us.

"Three hundred gold coins!!"

"The regent will declare the person who finds that brat a hero."

"Fuck Hero, let's get that brat. I heard that brat is super beautiful. After having fun, there's nothing bad about getting 300 gold coins."

The crowd instantly erupted with cheerful voices; everyone was focusing on Lexus.

"Listen then, you low IQ mongrels, That brat has transformed into a huge man who's now bald. There were two headless monsters inside the cave, and they've eaten the brat's head and balls. You still have time before he dies. I didn't think he'd... " Lexus, before he could finish his whole monologue, the mercenaries left with bullet speed.

"Oh well." Lexus smiled under his helmet and then slowly walked in the opposite direction from where he first came from. He was leaving the Duchy temporarily; he understood that the Regent had opted to use these pathetic mercenaries with the half information he had, and that half information had made this escape this easy.

"Chopping their head off wouldn't be that hard either," Lexus murmured while traversing the jungle with a little caution.

"Oh! You could do that? That's surprising considering you're the blood of generations of heroes." A rough voice suddenly came from the back of Lexus, who stopped in his tracks.

"Fuck, I don't have any sensing-type abilities." Lexus murmured while there was still a smile on his face because he knows who's the person that just barked behind his back.

Lexus immediately turned back on his one heel with a precious control and looked the person in the eye.
