After reaching the village chief's house, Lexus relaxed a bit because of the constant running around yesterday; he felt exhausted, and it was time to eat something and have a nice deep sleep.

"You're in the upstairs. The room on the left is yours, and the right is my daughter Isabella's," the village chief said while removing his armor downstairs.

"Where is your wife? She's not home? " Lexus asked, as he was taking the stairs, but as soon as he asked, village chief grabbed his hand and looked emotional.

Lexus looked bewildered, his steel gloves almost tapped on village chiefs shoulder with consolation.

The village chief, wiping tears off his eyes, sat on the table once again. Lexus, seeing this scene, closed his eyes with irritation and sat down with the village chief and heard his story.

It was really sad and one of the cliché story ever, Lexus hearing the story rolled his eyes and sat there until the old man passed out from drinking.

Lexus going upstairs got to see the beautiful Isabella; she was wearing some kind of loose robe and looked nice.

But Lexus knows he's too old mentally for her, so he just smiled towards her and entered his room without creeping her out.

The ex-village chief was taken back, and the place he used to stay was cleaned up, and a new bed and a small bookshelf were placed there for Lexus.

After the long day of work, the cave was finally ready for Lexus to be inside and cultivate.
