The Gluttonous Slimes inside slowly crawled toward him, prostrating at his feet.

Or more precisely, they were submitting to the feet of the Gluttonous Slime attached to Kael's body.

Behind Kael, a ripple formed, and a silver-white metallic mass slowly took shape, outlining a petite girl who wrapped her arms around Kael's neck, laughing with a bell-like sound.

The crowd looked curiously at the Slime Girl who bore a resemblance to Kael.

"Just call her Aister."

That was the name Kael had given to this monster, and when the little Slime Girl heard Kael's call, her otherwise unfluctuating expression showed a slight change.

The Gluttonous Slimes below also loudly called out Aister's name.

It was the respected name of the Gluttonous Slime Queen who had given them new life.

Normally, slimes reproduce by creating new cores, a form of asexual reproduction.

Most of the time, there is no such thing as a slime group.

Each of them is an independent individual.

However, the Gluttonous Slimes establish powerful nests, and the stronger slimes can infuse their essence into the cores of their subordinates, converting part of the core into their own substance.

Such influenced Gluttonous Slimes will be directly controlled by the higher-ranking Gluttonous Slime.

It's almost as if the higher-ranking Gluttonous Slime has split into a sub-entity.

Kael had not felt this situation with the Shadow Wolves.

The Shadow Wolves were more like a group of independent individuals, even with the Totem Power's perspective requiring point-to-point influence to control them.

But Aister was different.

When Kael directly connected to Aister, he could feel that her vision was likewise connected to more subordinate slimes.

This was probably why these slimes could also absorb experience to some extent.

Because Aister was considered a part of him in the System's panel, some of the System's power was extending to her.

The most apparent was that she could also gain experience and grow.

And perhaps because of the slime race's characteristics, this situation was further extended to the slimes under her command.

Aister being able to absorb experience and level up means that the subordinate slime pups she controls can do the same.

And the Rangers symbiotic with the Gluttonous Slimes, while they cannot fully enjoy the power of leveling up, can still indirectly benefit from some of the upgrades by sharing in the Gluttonous Slimes' growth.

The biggest issue is probably that their future lives will be dominated by Kael, as slimes don't play by the rule of "the vassal of my vassal is not my vassal."

Being able to directly control Aister, Kael has complete power over these symbiotic Rangers.

But then again, is this a problem for the Rangers, or is it a problem for Kael?

No, on the contrary, it's a means for Kael to consolidate his own influence among his loyal followers.

"Then apart from Dan, anyone else who wants to receive this power, step forward."

Soon, the surrounding Rangers took their places in turn.

Kael pointed to a dozen or so of them, who were the quickest to step forward.

Just a moment ago, the seemingly quiet and pet-like Gluttonous Slimes on the ground suddenly lashed out.

They leaped onto the arms of the Rangers, and amid swirling smoke, the knights let out muffled groans.

After parts of their bodies were assimilated by the Gluttonous Slimes, Kael activated the Totem Power again.

Under the influence of Totem Power, those slimes were then branded with the bloodline marks of their bodies.

A subtle sensation spread over the Rangers, and in a trance, they seemed to sense the emotions of the little slimes.

It was as if there was a mind-to-mind connection between them, and this subtle feeling peaked the moment the slimes jumped onto them.

Parts of the slime bodies hardened into Armor, and their expressions subtly changed as they tapped on the Armor, almost feeling a vague touch.

They knocked a little harder but felt no pain at all, as if the Armor had always been part of them.

Dan, who had adapted in advance, slowly stood up, feeling the magic flowing continuously from his body into the Armor before him.
