Reincarnated As The Hero’s Daughter: Wait, Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1528: Visits

-----

While sleeping, Aquarina was dreaming.

Dreaming that she was walking across a beautiful lake, on top of the water.

The lake expanded for thousands of kilometers; it was more like a freshwater ocean than a lake.

She looked around, and in the distance, she noticed a few small islands with green trees and grass.

And deep below, there was a dark, muddy water.

She swam down, seeking something.

She felt the pulse of a heart, of a tiny, small, yet strong heart.

Once she reached the depths of this lake, she found what she was looking for, a blue colored egg, resting deep within the lake.

She reached it, touching it with her hand.

FLASH!

And then Aquarina felt the life within the egg releasing a sparkle of azure light, flowing into her hand.

It was warm and felt nice, and the egg, which seemed agitated, calmed down, its pulse becoming slower and normalizing.

"Were you feeling lonely? Sorry about that."

She hugged the blue egg with her big arms, sleeping alongside it through the rest of the night.

Unknowingly, as she did, she was also incubating the egg, and infusing it with her nutrients, soul energy, mana, and even spirit energy.

The egg slowly started to gain black spots here and there, unnoticeable to the normal eye, as it was assimilating Aquarina's powers to better shape its growth and power once the pup is born.

.

"Ah!"

Aquarina woke up while screaming, gasping for air, she felt like she was drowning underwater while hugging an egg, what a strange dream.

"What the hell… Ugh, did I wet myself?!"

She was shocked to find the bed was wet, but it wasn't because she peed herself, it was just her sweat.

"Agh, great, I'll have to wash this now… Well, whatever."

She stretched her arms and legs a bit while yawning, cuddling back to bed again.

"A few more minutes and… And I'll wake up…"

As she was about to fall asleep again…

KNOCK, KNOCK!

"Aquarina! Are you awake? I'm here! I brought everything you asked me for!"

Justicio's voice woke her up, annoyingly so.

She glared at the door, almost about to seal it off with some magic.

"Ugh, right… Okay, wait a bit."

The sun was already out in the skies and most of the people of the village were awake by now, although it was only like 7 AM.

In the Dry Steppes, the sun went down and up early, so the night came sooner than what Aquarina was used to, and so did the morning.

Aquarina quickly stood up and washed herself using her water magic to not look like an absolute mess. It was nice that she had her bathroom in her room too.

After being done, she opened the door, Justicio greeted her, carrying a bunch of things.

"Woah your room's huge…"

Justicio looked around, Aquarina's room was dozens of meters wide, easily the size of a smaller house on its own.

It had a personal bathroom and even a kitchen and also another smaller room where she cooked up her alchemy.

"Yeah mom made it huge so I could do whatever I wanted her," Aquarina nodded, smiling. "She's really good at making buildings… I never thought that was a thing because we always lived inside of tents. Which is weird, why didn't she make buildings for everyone instead?!"

Aquarina quickly realized her mother was a lover of amazonian tradition, and that meant living outside inside small tents they build using materials from monsters.

"Aaah, I had no idea you lived in tents, damn," said Justicio.

"Anyways, just sit down over there, I'm going to start working on the Orichalcum I want to give you first…" Aquarina said, taking some of that still clay-like Orichalcum left from the golem. "It still a bit warm, damn this metal keeps the warmth for a while before it cools down completely."

Another of the interesting things about Orichalcum was that once it reached its point of melting, it would take over a day to go back to normal if left alone.

In the time in-between, it would eventually reach a point where it becomes strangely clay-like, and it can be easily manipulated and divided.

This is also the best time to use Orichalcum in Alchemy or Forging, although only the greatest alchemist and blacksmiths in the world could ever hope to use it.

Aquarina was going to cheat though, using the power of a Skill to give her a greater ability over materials!

"It seems to be ready to be used…" Aquarina nodded. "But damn, whenever I see this metal, I always think about how it's actually the blood from a tribe of people, and I feel a bit disgusted about using it…"

"Well, it's not like they can get it back or something anymore…" said Justicio. "It's just there. We might as well use it for something good, right?"

Justicio had already learned about Sphynxiette and her crew from Aquarina and her parent's stories while they invited him to eat lunch or dinner with them, at first he was shocked, but over time he accepted that fact.

"I guess so… I bet Sylphy would also feel kind of bad," Aquarina sighed. "Well, I hope the survivors we found are doing okay. We left them living in Agartha for the time being, letting them adjust to this world and everything… Although they're people from another planet, we simply told them to pretend to be Demons, and it seems to have worked fine. There's so many Demon Tribes of all shapes and sizes out there, so even giants made of gold and crystals can be believed to be demons… haha."

"It's a bit hilarious yeah… I have never seen a Demon myself though, I wonder how they look like," said Justicio, as he saw Aquarina preparing things around her cauldron, setting up some sort of ritualistic formation.

She placed several materials around the cauldron which aligned with a large formation, a magic circle-like formation of some sort.

"This should work for now, let's do this."
