Chapter 7: First Classes of the week!
Reagan woke up rested, not super rested, but rested non the less. It was still pretty early and there was a couple of hours before Astoria had to wake up so Reagan was trying to be as quiet as possible.
As Reagan sat up she realized that Astoria was still hugging her arm, Reagan tried pulling her arm loose, but Astoria wouldn't let go,
"Astor- I mean Saint Astoria may you please let go of my arm"
Reagan didn't even know why she was asking, because after all Astoria was asleep. Reagan pulled Astoria off of her arm and got out of bed.
Reagan's school uniform looked like a suit except it was blue with gold embroidery, and also less constricting, under her uniform she wore a tank top, just in case they did hands on sword training today. As she got out of the bathroom she saw Astoria waking up,
"Good morning Saint Astoria, we have to leave for class in an hour, if you need me I'll be in my study" Reagan bowed and left.
------------------------
It was 7:40 when Astoria and Reagan were out the door and walking towards Astoria's first class. People were staring at Astoria and Reagan, after all a Saint only appears every 1,000 years, and it's not often you see the Duke of who's family is the second most powerful in the kingdom.
When they arrived at the classroom Reagan handed Astoria a bracelet,
"you must wear the bracelet, it will activate if your in danger,"
"It looks very pretty" Astoria said as she examined the bracelet, "thank you".
Reagan helped put the bracelet on Astoria wrist then, bowed and left.
Reagan not in this life or the last one was good at giving gifts, it always made her super shy and flustered, in her past life she'd always stumble over words and make a fool of herself so she was glad that, that didn't happen.
When Reagan got to her classroom she saw her brother and walked towards him, her brother waved at her then turned back to see what the teacher was teaching.
Reagan was supposed to be reading about different sword techniques but she was actually reading some letters she had gotten.
The first letter was about how there was a village on the coast that needed some pirates taken care of, which to Reagan didn't seem that important, so she moved on. The last letter came as a shock to her, because it was from the king, apparently a criminal by the name of Warren had escaped prison.
Normally Reagan didn't pay much attention to criminals who escaped prison because they tend to be delt with pretty quickly, but Warren was sent to prison by Reagan's parents, and he was famous for holding grudges, in the book, Warren had killed Reagan's brother and nearly killed Reagan herself but didn't manage to. Reagan stood up getting everyone's attention.
"My apologies Mr. Dulce, I must head out it's important, after all it's hard to be Duke and a student."
The teacher was about to argue but Reagan continued talking,
"also, the sword technique your teaching is very common and said to be the easiest but that's only because it's full of flaws, I've had to reteach many soldiers how to swing a sword" she was going to bow but there was no one of higher stature in the class so she just left.
