The most problematic condition from Xu Feng was the second list: exposing Maleficent Limited to be the culprit.

'Even though I am displeased with their conduct, going against them in public wouldn't do us good.' Sylvan knew the limit and how far he could go.

He didn't rise to his position from impulsiveness but through patience.

"Mister Feng, we can adhere to your first and last condition. But unfortunately, as a public list company, we cannot proceed with your second condition." Before Sylvan could speak up, Tess took the burden and explained their difficulties.

And Sylvan remaining silent was an indirect approval of Tess' explanation.

"Wait a second, Mister Feng." Tess suddenly called out when Xu Feng was already by the exit door and was about to step outside.

Meanwhile, the guards who heard Tess shouting to wait began to show signs of stopping Xu Feng.

"Oh, do I look easy?" Amused, Xu Feng chuckled and easily moved forward.

By the time anyone could react, he was already by the elevator door and pressing the button to descend.

The guards' eyes were filled with disbelief. They actually failed to notice the target's movement until much later.

As for Tess, she was struck in a daze, unable to fathom the scene. Only Sylvan who kept a calm expression on the surface but was secretly astonished by the scene knew what just happened.

Each one of them was still green and leaked some Energy Force. Their faces also depicted a sense of superiority and arrogance. It was natural though since anyone would be the same when they held the same achievement as them.

However, Xu Feng resembled an experienced veteran, capable of perceiving everything yet revealing nothing on the surface.

"President, should we consider rejecting his condition?" Amidst Sylvan's thoughts, he was brought back to reality by Tess. She suggested rejecting Xu Feng's condition overall, having believed the latter came here to mess with them.

Despite her belief, she was still wary of his final statement but dared not to voice it out. After all, it was just her instinct screaming that they should accept the condition without any proof or substance to back it up.

Meanwhile, Sylvan was quick to detect her hesitation.

He turned his attention to the guards first. He signaled them to close the door and drop the matter of trying to chase back Xu Feng.

The guards nodded their heads and complied with the order, shutting the door closed.

Once that was done, Sylvan said, "Speak freely from your mind. I want to hear your thoughts—honest ones and not one for your secretary position."

From her secretary position, it was obvious that Tess would never agree to anything that would damage or harm the company. However, if it was her honest opinion, then she wouldn't have that factor in her concern when speaking.

Tess frowned a bit upon being put on the spot. She took a deep breath and exhaled softly. She repeated the action a few times before facing Sylvan with a serious expression.

"With all due respect, President, but we shouldn't ignore what Xu Feng said. I've known the Vanguard Guild and how they operate. If you don't offend them, then they won't do anything to you. However, once offended, their threat and statement were always proven to be true." She said in a stern tone.

Ever since she joined the Divine World, one guild in particular would always be in discussion and gossip among players.

And the guild wasn't even the first-rate or super guild, but an upstart guild known as Vanguard.

Her curiosity piqued, and she decided to research them a little bit. It was then that her perspective and understanding of the Divine World changed.

An upstart guild capable of contending with multiple first-rate guilds and coming out alive was already surreal. Yet what made it frightening was the fact that the Vanguard Guild's statement always became a reality.

'Reaver Guild, Lethal Corp, MIST, and now our incident. Could we even escape unscathed?' She wondered silently.
