Reverend Half Insanity

Chapter 12: chapter 12

Demonic Fang Yuan stands motionless, his mind a whirlwind of calculations and hypotheses. The term Forbidden Beings lingers in his thoughts, a puzzle he cannot yet solve. His eyes, dark and unreadable, reflect nothing but a cold, analytical focus. He does not fear the unknown; he dissects it, studies it, seeks to dominate it.

Administrator Fang Yuan watches him, his expression unreadable, his presence radiating an aura of absolute authority. The silence stretches, thick and heavy, as the void itself seems to hold its breath, waiting for what comes next.

The suffocating silence stretches further, as if the void itself is bracing for what comes next. Administrator Fang Yuan's presence grows even more oppressive, his aura radiating a terrifying authority that makes the very fabric of existence tremble. His voice, when it comes, is slow and deliberate, each word a hammer strike against the fragile walls of reality.

"There is another term," he begins, his tone dark and foreboding, as if he is about to unravel mysteries that even the cosmos fears to acknowledge. "It is called Forbidden Power." The words hang in the air, heavy with implication, as though the mere mention of them could shatter worlds.

He pauses, letting the weight of the term sink in, his gaze piercing through Demonic Fang Yuan like a blade of pure dread. "All otherworldly demons possess at least one or two Forbidden Powers," he continues, his voice low and dangerous. "Take you, for example. You possess only two unique traits: the first is your memories from another world, and the second is your otherworldly Dao marks. However, some otherworldly demons may possess far more than that—some even wield Forbidden Powers beyond imagination, powers so terrifying they defy comprehension."

Another pause, longer this time, as if he is savoring the tension, the fear, the anticipation. Then, he speaks again, his voice sharp and deliberate, each word a blade aimed at the heart of understanding. "Both otherworldly demons and normal residents of this world can possess these Forbidden Powers. And even more…" He trails off, his gaze intensifying, as if he is about to reveal something so horrifying that even the void itself fears to hear it. "Some might possess… Forbidden Items, some are so much powerful that it can even exterminate a venerable easily. Ha ha ha"

His laughter is not ordinary—it is a sound that shakes the very foundations of existence. It echoes through the void like the roar of a collapsing universe, each note reverberating with a terrifying intensity that makes the hell itself tremble. The void around them quivers, the darkness twisting and writhing as if in agony. The air grows heavier, denser, as though the fabric of reality is straining to contain the sheer force of his voice.

Demonic Fang Yuan remains still, his face a mask of cold indifference. But his eyes, dark and hollow, flicker faintly—a sign that even he, beyond emotion, recognizes the magnitude of what is happening. The laughter grows louder, more menacing, until it feels as though the entire cosmos is being torn apart by its echoes.

Then, Administrator Fang Yuan stops. The silence that follows is deafening, heavier than before, as if the void itself is holding its breath. His voice cuts through the stillness, sharp and deliberate, each word carrying the weight of a thousand collapsing stars.

"This is a new era," he declares, his tone dark and foreboding, "totally different from yours. And it is called…"

Even before he finishes speaking, the void around them begins to tremble violently. The darkness twists and distorts, as though the very essence of existence is recoiling in fear. The air grows colder, the pressure more oppressive, as if the universe itself is bracing for what comes next.

"THE GREAT ERA OF UNFAIRNESS."

The moment the words leave his lips, the void erupts into chaos. The trembling intensifies, the darkness convulsing as though it cannot bear the weight of the declaration. But it doesn't stop there. The entire Gu World begins to shake violently, as if the world itself is acknowledging the truth of his words.

Then suddenly—silence. A silence so deep, so absolute, that it feels as if hell itself is holding its breath. The void tightens, the air grows still, and for a fleeting moment, it is as if the universe has paused—preparing to unveil something even more terrifying.

Administrator Fang Yuan's voice slices through the oppressive stillness, slow and deliberate. "You have noticed, haven't you? That your so-called brother, Fang Zheng… is not truly your brother." His words are calm, almost casual, yet they carry a weight that makes the void tremble.

His smirk widens, his tone laced with dark amusement. "An otherworldly demon has taken over him, erasing his very existence."

A pause—long, suffocating.

"You might think this is nothing special. That it is just another mystery, another anomaly."

The smirk deepens. His eyes gleam with something unreadable.

"But let me show you who your brother truly is—his real identity and his greatest creation."

He leans forward slightly, his voice dropping to a whisper that feels like a blade pressing against the throat of existence.

"Ha ha ha! Try not to lose yourself in shock when you see who your brother truly is—and what his greatest creation really is."
