Eve: it's 5:30 AM, wake up Jaune

I wake up as Eve's alarm goes off and I start my morning routine. After showering and getting ready, I use fast travel and go to Vale city. Early morning vale is silent and almost empty with people still opening their shops and starting their work. Walking through the semi empty streets I start looking for any noticable landmarks.

After an hour and the sun has risen I've only found three landmarks that my map would mark, the shipping docks, the library and a fountain in the South district. There's not a lot of girls my age around as the huntress academies and prep school have officially started today and most will be on Airbus to beacon or on their way to signal. Thankfully the previous Jaune already completed what equates to highschool, even if he was the bottom of the class.

After a while of moving around I find someplace I want to visit, Tuskon's book trade, everybook under the sun. Walking into the book store I hear a voice shout," be right there I've got some stuff I'm moving." As I wait around near the register the door chimes again and a jade beauty walks in.

She walks in her nose buried in a book as she goes straight to a section of the store not even noticing me, no acknowledging me. She's seen me especially if the ear flicker was a clue. She does look better without the bow, guess she doesn't need to hide herself since there's equality, somewhat. Almost not all racists will vanish in a year of acceptance, especially if they're from Atlas.

" Thank you for waiting," says tuskon as he carries a box and puts it on the counter," what can I do for you."

" Oh just need information on prep schools, training and what to expect in the academies or their course work," i say as I look at the box of books," what are these?"

" Well academy stuff is over by the window to the right should be an entire shelf on the subjects, training is in the health section, and this box is old fiction stories, tall tales and theories on dust and Aura. I'm clearing it out so it's on sale," says tuskon as I start looking through the books. Ten books in the box and five are a skill book. " I'll take the box can I leave it here while I get the rest of the stuff I need?" I ask as he nods. I walk towards the area he's pointed out and I pass Blake who's not searching through the books before pulling out a book.

Passing by I think about grabbing the first book but all I know is that it could be between two men or futanari. Wouldn't mind the later but if it's yaoi I'm not touching it. Walking up to the bookshelf I look at the different informational and non-fiction books on things like Grimm biology and theory, applied dust theory and calculation, history, women's history, world history, faunus history and impacts. Grabbing one of each book and set I casually put them on the counter on my return before heading off to the health section. Everything from clean hygiene, natural remedies, poisonous and non poisonous plant guides, survival guides, body training, martial arts, and even a in-depth guide to sexual health for faunus and humans were in this section. Grabbing several books and another set of different books I finally take a look at Ninja's of love which is actually a skill book on shibari, ninjutsu, and bukijutsu. Picking up both books I read the footnotes and find out it's a harem novel between a guy who's a weakling and several strong warriors of the races. Picking up the first three volumes of twenty that are part of the illustrated version I check the author and I'm tempted to put it back. It's my biological mother's pen name on the book. Grabbing a few more novels to read I come across a book that's a skill book and part of my quest I have.

Grabbing the books and taking them to the counter tuskon starts ringing them up before he asks, "so got anyway to carry these?" I nod as the final total was around 3,550 lien. Paying the amount he hands me the books and I easily put them in the box and carry the box now holding about thirty books of various sizes. " Have a nice day and I'll come back when I can," I say walking out of the store and into the street.

I nod my head as I duck into an alley and head back to my room using fast travel. As I get back I start putting up the books and pick up the skill books I acquired.
