Cormac gives you a weak grin.

He looks at you, his head cocked to one side. His eyes are bright and he speaks rapidly, with a slight, delirious slur.

"I thought it—whatever it is—was going to get me," he says. "It was so close and then…it seemed to go away. Just in time. I…twisted my ankle. It—I don't think it's gone for good."
