Sanctum of Death

By now, you have reached Ballyavon. Imane drops off the Fox siblings outside their family home on the outskirts of the village, and Daniel and Kitty at their neighboring cottages. Cormac gets out there too, muttering that he wants to walk home by himself, that he needs the night air. Nobody says very much. It is as though you all still feel the need to process the events that happened in the caves, and Imane's revelation that you were drugged for the entire time.

With just the two of you left, Imane drives up to the Wolf's Head and lets you out. She puts a hard hand on your shoulder as you prepare to emerge.

"Wait."

She squints at you.

"I think I understand you. The caves and what's in them, they strip things away, show you what a person really is. I've met people like you before. I think you have drive. I think you're a fighter. I like that. People like you can do good in the world. But not here. It's dangerous here. You could get lost. And next time I might not be able to help you."
