Chapter 453: Chaos
"Fuck, why are we afraid of them?" sneered the leader in black, then he added, "They are all nobodies. Which of these waiters can fight? I alone can take them all down!"
Saying this, the leader in black, wielding an iron stick, charged forward. The dozen or so men behind him followed suit. The boss had taken the lead; naturally, they couldn't lag behind, so they all rushed forward, weapons in hand.
Waiters are still waiters, suitable for filling up the scene. But once they really need to go into battle, this bunch will definitely turn into cowards. Seeing the opposition charging at them, they immediately panicked.
"It's over, they're coming."
"What do we do? What do we do?"
The group was extremely flustered and seemingly scared and tense. They were very chaotic inside, their eyes revealing panic. If it weren't for Liu Xiaolei standing still at the scene, they would've probably scattered long ago.
Finally, when the adversaries charged at them, they were immediately dumbfounded. The group, scared, quickly fled. However, the chefs were more reliable; these folks were spirited, holding kitchen knives with an air as if one man could hold off ten thousand. As soon as the two sides clashed, a fierce battle erupted instantly.
Clang...
The iron stick in the man's hand collided with the chef's kitchen knife, sparking a shower of sparks.
"Kill you!" The head chef, leading six or seven chefs, was a spirited man, just like Mr. He Long from the revolutionary days, wielding a kitchen knife in a revolt. Now, these chefs showed similar spirit, which was indeed noteworthy.
"Xiao Han, shall we join in?" asked Li Dapang hastily.
"Not so fast!" Xiao Han shook his head.
"Why?" Li Dapang asked, puzzled. "The chefs are up front; what if they get hurt? What will we do then?"
Clearly, Li Dapang was primarily concerned that if the chefs were injured, the restaurant couldn't operate.
"Let them get some practice. It's good for them," Xiao Han smiled and then said, "Besides, these guys won't dare to strike fatally. Even if they get injured, it will just be some minor bruising, nothing serious."
"Alright," Li Dapang nodded, albeit reluctantly.
Obviously, Li Dapang seemed somewhat helpless. He turned to watch the battle, where the fleeing waiters seemed to have gotten a wake-up call and began to wield their 'weapons,' rushing forward.
The group was incredibly excited. They didn't really want to fight since they were poor fighters, but they were quite good at sneak attacks. A male waiter from Hanmen Restaurant grabbed a mop, which he had just taken from the restroom. The mop was dirty, still covered in filth. He quickly made a gesture to another coworker.
The coworker quickly caught on and nodded. He immediately nodded at the opponent and then, holding a broom, charged at the leader in black. The leader, seeing this, immediately swung his iron stick at him.
The broom collided with the opponent's iron stick, making it clear from the type and quality of the weapons that this was no ordinary encounter. The waiter immediately stepped back, startled. The leader in black was just about to pounce.
Suddenly, a grimy mop covered the man's face.
Psh...
The man felt his nose nearly break. He screamed in pain, staggered back several steps, almost sitting down from the shock, screaming in agony. The waiter who held the mop clearly felt he had used too much force. He was terrified, fearing that he might have blinded the man with that strike. If that were the case, it would be troublesome.
The waiter trembled all over, looking awkwardly at the man, asking, "You... you alright?"
"Fuck... fuck your grandpa!" the leader in black roared. He touched his nose and bellowed, "You son of a bitch, what the hell did you hit me with? Why does it stink so bad!"
"Mo... mop!" the waiter hurriedly answered.
"Fuck, what mop? It stinks so bad!" The leader touched the traces on his face, his fingertips coming away with a lump of black substance.
"Toilet mop," the waiter said awkwardly. "It's specifically for cleaning the drains, that... that might be shit."
Pff...
The leader in black almost vomited upon hearing this. He had sniffed the black stuff on his fingertips over and over. His face went pale in an instant, changing several shades. He never expected that the mop was taken from the restroom, let alone that it hadn't been washed and still had some shit on it. That was something he couldn't bear. He roared, "Fuck, you can hit me, you can curse me, but you can't humiliate me with this kind of stuff!"
Having said that, the man, furious, quickly rushed at the waiter. The male waiter, terrified, took off running. The leader in black, however, wouldn't let him get away easily – he actually carried his iron stick and chased after him furiously.
"Help, help..." the male waiter cried out loudly.
The man with the broom immediately stepped forward to help.
The scene suddenly became chaotic, and both sides fought indistinguishably. Xiao Han and Li Dapang were still at the scene, watching without taking action or making a sound. Compared to Xiao Han, Li Dapang obviously was not so composed. He seemed extremely anxious and wished he could join the waitstaff in the fight.
The restaurant suffered considerable damage.
Initially, the damage wasn't severe, but as the melee began, the losses increased. The two porcelain flower pots at the entrance were shattered, and the table there was overturned, with two chairs also falling apart. Inside, the pots and pans were mostly smashed to bits. The scene was in complete chaos.
"Dammit, the losses are huge now," Li Dapang gritted his teeth.
"Don't worry, we'll charge all the damages to their account today," Xiao Han said with a calm smile.
"Yes!" Li Dapang nodded and said, "We must make them pay, those bastards, they must have been instigated by someone. We need to find out who is behind this and teach them a lesson."
"Absolutely!" Xiao Han nodded.
If he didn't charge today's damages to them, it absolutely wouldn't match Xiao Han's character. Xiao Han was always tolerant and generous toward his own people. However, when dealing with enemies, he had to be harsh and ruthless.
The restaurant bore quite a loss from the brawl. Several waitstaff were knocked down by the opponents, and these people quickly, with no signs of stopping, started kicking those who were already on the ground.
"Big Fatty, go ahead," Xiao Han finally gave the go-ahead.
"Fuck!" Li Dapang, upon hearing this, charged at the opponents like a wild horse breaking free, looking extremely ferocious and powerful. Xiao Han squinted and coldly observed the situation.
With Li Dapang taking action, it was akin to having the strength of two men. He casually picked up a wooden stick.
Bang!
The wooden stick in Li Dapang's hand became his weapon of attack, being a deity that slaughters gods and kills buddhas. Several men were struck on the head with the stick, instantly collapsing to the ground. Li Dapang chose a wooden stick rather than an iron rod because a wood stick's offensive capability was limited, while an iron rod's was too strong. With Li Dapang's current strength, if he held an iron rod, he would definitely smash their skulls.
"Fuck!" Li Dapang roared angrily.
Clearly, Li Dapang's strength had made a significant impression on them.
The remaining seven or eight people, scared, retreated several steps as three of them hit the ground. With just one move, Li Dapang effectively took down five to six men using the strength of two. The remaining seven or eight people retreated several steps. From their eyes, one could see that they were filled with fear of Li Dapang.
"Fuck, why are you running?" Li Dapang cursed, his words filled with disdain for them.
The leader in black laughed coldly, "Fat man, do you think one person can take on so many of us?"
"If you dare, come at me," Li Dapang, holding a wooden stick, challenged. This rolling pin, brought from the kitchen by someone, had now become Li Dapang's weapon of choice.
Li Dapang's voice boomed mightily, his presence domineering, exuding an aura as if he alone could hold off thousands. His eyes sparkled with defiance, as if he scorned all beings under the heavens.
Now, the leading man was somewhat fearful, having not expected Li Dapang alone to intimidate everyone.
"Big brother, what should we do?" a man next to him quickly asked.
"Fuck, what else can we do, let's go together!" the leader in black, vexed, didn't believe that Li Dapang alone could handle so many. As the saying goes, strength lies in numbers, and it's hard for one pair of fists to combat four legs.
"Yes, big brother," the man beside him quickly nodded.
Actually, the remaining seven or eight men hesitantly moved forward a few steps. Although they were internally scared, they had no choice but to follow the command of the man in black.
"Guys? Let's go together, this guy can't possibly beat so many of us!" the man who first got beaten called out to the others.
Rustling...
The crowd surged forward. Seeing the opposition's numbers, Li Dapang could not continue to tangle with them. He quickly retreated a few steps and swung the stick in his hand.
Bang...
A muffled sound echoed. The stick brutally smashed onto an opponent's head, blood splattering as the man immediately fell to the ground.
"Ah, it hurts to death," the injured man screamed repeatedly.
