Shenron's Vow: The Ultimate Wishmaker

Chapter 10: Little Goku Doesn’t Eat Gum

"Next stop, you can go to Planet Yardrat and learn Instant Transmission."

With another wish fulfilled, Renkai appeared on Planet Yardrat.

The Yardratians weren't physically strong, but they had mastered powerful techniques. Instant Transmission was just one of many.

As Renkai explored the planet, he realized something. The average combat power of the Yardratians was only a few hundred. If a small squad of Frieza's soldiers arrived here, they could wipe out the entire population without breaking a sweat.

But compared to Earthlings, the Yardratians were practically monsters.

A typical Earthling warrior had a combat power of 5. A Yardratian warrior had at least 100 times that. If just one Yardratian was dropped onto Earth, he could wipe out humanity with ease.

Renkai wasn't here to fight, though. After fulfilling several wishes for the Yardratians, he obtained Instant Transmission and other special techniques that he admired.

With that, every major goal Renkai set at the beginning of his journey had been achieved.

Now, it was time to think ahead.

As he reflected on the timeline, something suddenly hit him—he had completely forgotten about Goku and Bulma's first meeting!

Had it already happened? Or was it just about to begin?

He wasn't about to miss this.

Using Instant Transmission, Renkai locked onto Kami's energy and appeared right in front of him in an instant.

The moment he arrived, Kami's entire face turned green with shock.

Mr. Popo, who was usually calm, took a step back, eyes wide with fear.

But what shocked them even more was that Renkai wasn't in his humanoid dragon form.

He was just standing there, in his normal human form—which meant that even his weakest form was now more powerful than his dragon form from just a few days ago.

"Renkai… what kind of power have you obtained?" Kami whispered.

"God, Mr. Popo, nice to see you again." Renkai smiled. "To be honest, even I don't know exactly how strong I am now. I just feel that I've grown countless times stronger than before."

After a short chat, Renkai glanced down at the Earth from the Lookout, scanning the planet with his enhanced senses.

His gaze quickly locked onto a specific location—a remote mountain region known as Mount Paozu.

He could sense a familiar strong energy coming from there.

Without hesitation, Renkai used Instant Transmission and vanished.

At this moment, Goku was deep in the forest, moving at high speed, chasing after his lunch.

As the top predator of Mount Paozu, he had no natural enemies. Even as a child, his Saiyan physiology gave him a huge advantage over anything in the wild.

Even at combat power 10, he was far stronger than any normal Earthling.

His body was so durable that pistol bullets could barely harm him. The most they could do was sting a little—but not enough to cause any real damage.

Compared to Goku, even Master Roshi—who was far stronger—wouldn't dare let a bullet hit him.

It was just proof that Saiyan bodies were ridiculously overpowered.

Zamasu was right to be jealous.

But just as Goku was about to catch his prey—

WHAM!

He crashed into something solid at full speed!

"What the heck just hit me?"

Renkai blinked, looking down.

A small boy with a monkey tail was rolling on the ground, groaning in pain.

"Ow, ow, ow! That hurts!!"

Goku rolled to a stop and looked up, eyes wide. A strange man in black clothes was standing there, chewing something, and blowing bubbles from his mouth.

Goku's face turned serious.

He jumped to his feet, pulled out his Power Pole, and pointed it straight at Renkai.

"Are you a monster?!"

Renkai raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"You were spitting out big bubbles from your mouth!"

Renkai blinked. Then he realized—Goku was talking about the gum.

He smiled. "Oh, this? It's chewing gum. It's just candy. You chew it, and it makes bubbles."

Goku's stance relaxed. He lowered the Power Pole. "Oh, so you're not a monster?"

"Nope."

Goku tilted his head, staring at the gum. "So… is it delicious?"

Renkai grinned. "Why don't you try it and find out?"

Goku's face lit up with excitement. "Okay!"

"My name's Son Goku! I live here in Mount Paozu! Well… I used to live with my Grandpa, but he died in an accident."

Renkai nodded. "I'm Renkai, from outside the mountain."

He pulled out a piece of gum, unwrapped it, and handed it to Goku.

Goku popped it into his mouth, started chewing—and his eyes lit up.

"Wow! So sweet!"

But then, instinct kicked in. He tried to swallow it whole.

"Wait! You're not supposed to swallow it!"

Renkai quickly stopped him.

Goku blinked in confusion. "You can't eat it?"

"No, you just chew it."

Goku's face fell. He spat it out immediately.

"That's stupid! If you can't eat it, then it's not good food!"

Renkai laughed. "Fair enough."

He reached into his system space and pulled out something else—a massive roasted meat skewer, prepared by one of the best chefs in the world.

The moment Goku smelled it, his tail twitched in excitement.

"Whoa! What's that?!"

"Try it."

Goku grabbed the skewer, took one big bite—and his eyes widened in shock.

"Wow! This is amazing! Way better than that gum stuff!"

"Got more?"

"Call me big brother and I'll give you more."

"Big brother!"

Laughing, Renkai pulled out an entire pile of roasted meat. "Eat as much as you want."

The two ate together, and by the end, Goku was completely full.

As they walked toward Goku's house, he looked up at Renkai.

"Big brother, why do you and Grandpa look different from me? I have a tail, but you don't."

Renkai glanced at the fluffy Saiyan tail swaying behind him and smirked.

"That's because you're a Saiyan monkey."

"A Saiyan monkey?"

Goku blinked in confusion.

Renkai chuckled and changed the topic.

As they walked up the mountain, Goku led Renkai to a small wooden house.

When they stepped inside, Renkai's eyes immediately locked onto something familiar—

A golden Four-Star Dragon Ball sitting on the table.

But the Dragon Ball didn't matter.

What mattered was that Bulma would be here soon.
