Chapter 164: Chapter 102: Target, Wano Country! Chu Yang vs. Kaido!

Chapter 102: Target, Wano Country! Chu Yang vs. Kaido!

Just when Jinbei was troubled, Chu Yang mentioned another person's name.

"Jinbei, do you know Haku?"

Jinbei wasn't sure why Chu Yang brought him up but still nodded, saying, "He's my friend."

"As far as I know, Haku has already joined the Revolutionary Army and is teaching Fishman Karate to their soldiers."

Chu Yang revealed intelligence that shocked both of them.

"If Haku is there, it means the Revolutionary Army doesn't reject Fishmen. This gives us a significant chance to cooperate."

Tiger laughed heartily.

"Then I'll set off tomorrow."

Jinbei felt relieved but was still somewhat worried. "Brother Tiger, should we inform everyone about this first?"

Tiger nodded. Forming an alliance with the Revolutionary Army was no small matter. Even though he had made up his mind, it was still important to hear the crew's opinions.

"Yang, you come along as well. Even if you've boarded a Yonko's ship, you're still our comrade!"

Tiger stood up, patted Chu Yang on the shoulder, and walked toward the crowd.

Chu Yang nodded.

Jinbei smiled and followed the two.

"Everyone! Pause the festivities for a moment—I have something important to announce!"

Tiger stepped into the center of the crowd. The firelight flickered over his face, and the atmosphere suddenly turned serious.

The laughter gradually died down as the crew sensed the gravity in Tiger's demeanor.

When all eyes were on him, Tiger slowly began to explain his decision to ally with the Revolutionary Army.

A commotion erupted.

Since the founding of the Sun Pirates, they had never cooperated with any human faction. The fact that they'd managed to suppress their hatred toward humans over the years was already a significant effort.

If the crew knew that Tiger had been betrayed earlier by Koala's family, they might outright oppose his decision!

"We cannot save all the slaves on our own!"

"As long as the Celestial Dragons exist, the heinous crime of trafficking other races will never stop!"

"In this world, all justice revolves around the Celestial Dragons. Their desires and every word they utter are treated as law and righteousness!"

"As long as they want Fishmen and other races as slaves, us being treated as merchandise is only natural."

Hearing Tiger's impassioned speech, the crew fell silent. What Tiger said was a truth everyone knew.

However, hating the Celestial Dragons and fighting against them were two very different things.

Tiger saw the hesitation on his crewmates' faces. He had said everything he needed to say; whether or not they chose to stand with him was their decision.

Surprisingly, the first Fishman to stand up and support Tiger was Arlong.

As the representative of the radical faction, his hatred for humans was boundless. It didn't matter to him whether the target was the Celestial Dragons or anyone else.

"This should have been done ages ago. All we need is war! Coexisting peacefully with humans is utter nonsense!"

Arlong silently thought to himself, a sinister grin spreading across his face.

Soon, more and more Fishmen voiced their agreement.

Thus, Tiger decided to send Jinbei as the Sun Pirates' representative to Baldigo, the Island of White Earth.

Baldigo was located in the first half of the Grand Line and had a harsh environment. The land was severely desertified, filled with yellow sand and white stone—completely barren.

The name "White Earth" referred to Baldigo's desolate terrain.

For Fishmen, such a climate was nothing short of hell!

Half a month later, Chu Yang and Jinbei set foot on this land.

After witnessing the desolation firsthand, Jinbei couldn't help but ask, "How does Haku endure living here long-term?"

Chu Yang smiled. "Belief—or willpower."

Jinbei sighed. "That guy really is a warrior with an indomitable will. He was once the most famous Karate master in Fishman Street."

Chu Yang looked at Jinbei with curiosity. "Purely in terms of Karate skills, who's stronger, you or him?"

Jinbei coughed and replied proudly, "Haku is very skilled, but compared to me, he's still a little behind."

Chu Yang thought that if Jinbei described someone as "skilled," Haku must indeed be impressive as the Revolutionary Army's Karate instructor.

"Yang, with such a huge island, how do we find the Revolutionary Army's base?"

The harsh environment of Baldigo was filled with sand, and the air was thick with dust. They had to cover their mouths and noses to breathe. Even during the day, visibility was poor.

This worried Jinbei greatly. If they couldn't find the Revolutionary Army quickly, they might be in danger.

"Like this."

Several clones suddenly appeared around Chu Yang and, at his command, scattered into the sands.

Jinbei was dumbfounded.

"Was that an illusion?"

"Just a small special ability, nothing to be surprised about, Jinbei."

Using clones for a grid search was a crude method, but it was perfect for the current situation.

If this were a more navigable island, Chu Yang could have flown high into the sky to scan the ground and easily spotted the Revolutionary Army.

"You're the strangest ability user I've ever seen."

Jinbei looked at Chu Yang in amazement.

Moments later, Chu Yang received feedback from his clones and led Jinbei straight to the Revolutionary Army's location.

The Revolutionary Army also noticed them.

A large group of armed soldiers assembled, aiming their weapons at Chu Yang and Jinbei.

Jinbei shouted, "I am Jinbei of the Fishman race, representing the Sun Pirates' Captain Fisher Tiger to discuss an alliance with the Revolutionary Army."

Jinbei had gained some fame by now. Though not many in the Revolutionary Army knew him, Tiger was another story.

The Burning of the Holy Land had shocked the entire world.

Although Tiger was merely a scapegoat, his reputation rivaled that of the Yonko.

Upon hearing that they were sent by Tiger, the Revolutionary Army's guards relaxed. After a few questions, they turned and entered the base to notify their leaders.

Not long after, a Fishman man walked out of the base. Upon seeing Jinbei, his face lit up with joy.

"Haku!"

"Jinbei!"

Haku clapped Jinbei on the shoulder, laughing. "When they said Tiger sent someone, I didn't believe it. I can't believe it's you!"

Jinbei smiled back. "Long time no see, Haku. This is the first time we've met since I left the Kingdom Guard."

Haku nodded, then asked, "Why did Mr. Tiger send you to the Revolutionary Army?"

Jinbei said gravely, "Brother Tiger wants to cooperate with the Revolutionary Army to fight against the Celestial Dragons together!"

Haku was shocked!

To openly oppose the Celestial Dragons was an aggressive approach that didn't align with Tiger's usual style.

For as long as Haku could remember, Tiger had avoided conflicts with the World Government as much as possible, even when rescuing slaves.

"What about Fishman Island's position? Being caught between us and the World Government will put them in a very difficult spot."

"I've heard that Queen Otohime is collecting signatures, hoping to achieve peace between Fishman Island and humans…"

Haku's face was troubled. The more Fishmen resisted the Celestial Dragons, the more danger Fishman Island as a nation would face.

"Things have reached a point where the Fishmen have no retreat. Even if we do nothing, this country holds no position in the World Government!"

"Our kin will still be enslaved and trampled upon!"

Jinbei clenched his fists in frustration.

"If Mr. Tiger has made his decision, then I will support you. Come with me—I'll take you to see the Revolutionary Army's leader."

Haku gestured to the guards, who quickly dispersed and cleared a path for Chu Yang and Jinbei to enter the base.

Even as they walked in, Chu Yang's Observation Haki detected hidden soldiers stationed at various points in the base, still in high alert, with some even aiming their guns.

He had no doubt that the slightest suspicious movement would result in immediate gunfire.

After following Haku upstairs, they entered a small war conference room and met the leader of the Revolutionary Army—Monkey D. Dragon.

Also present were Okama King Emporio Ivankov and his assistant, Inazuma.

In the corner, a small unconscious boy lay on a hospital bed.

Chu Yang was curious why there was a child in the Revolutionary Army's base.

Jinbei took the initiative to explain their purpose.

Ivankov, meanwhile, was staring at Chu Yang. He found the young man familiar, as though he had seen him somewhere before.

After listening for a while, Dragon nodded slightly. "I admire Mr. Tiger's deeds and am pleased that you've joined the Revolutionary cause. It's just a pity that I couldn't meet Mr. Tiger in person."

The two sides quickly reached an agreement. Chu Yang could tell that the Revolutionary Army desperately needed allies. Their foundation was still unstable due to their recent formation.

Tiger's influence was extraordinary. That fire not only burned the Holy Land but also freed many slaves, including figures like Boa Hancock.

Haku played a crucial role. Without him, Dragon wouldn't have so easily trusted Jinbei's words and might have detained him immediately for investigation.

After the verbal agreement, the atmosphere in the room became relaxed. Ivankov, however, continued to stare at Chu Yang. Dragon noticed his strange behavior and also turned his gaze to Chu Yang.

Dragon's eyes suddenly turned sharp. "Why is a Yonko's crew member here? Does that mean Shanks is also interested in this alliance?"

Mentioning Shanks, Ivankov finally realized that the young man before him was the one who had made a name for himself in the recent skirmish between the Navy and the Red-Haired Pirates.

Relying on his own strength, he could go head-to-head with several veteran Navy vice admirals, and his power rivaled even that of Shanks himself. Alongside first mate Benn Beckman, he was hailed as Shanks' right-hand man.

"Yang…"

Ivankov softly murmured the other's name.

Chu Yang spoke calmly, "I'm here representing my own will—it has nothing to do with Shanks. The reason I want to cooperate with the Revolutionary Army is due to a personal grudge with the Celestial Dragons."

Dragon, somewhat surprised, asked, "A personal grudge?"

Jinbei interjected, "Yang and Brother Tiger met during the incident when the Holy Land was set on fire."

Dragon and the others immediately grasped the implications of Jinbei's words.

"You must have been quite young back then, right?" Ivankov looked at Chu Yang with pity. "To have endured such horrific torment at that age…"

Chu Yang chuckled lightly and teased, "Thanks to the Celestial Dragons, I had the motivation to grow this strong so quickly."

Ivankov marveled, "Such strong willpower. Most people would be broken by such memories, yet you can still laugh about it."

Jinbei nodded in agreement. "Speaking of willpower alone, Yang is undoubtedly the strongest person I've ever met."
