Skyrim System In Westeros

Chapter 120: Chapter 120: A Desperate Struggle

After the four dragon Shouts attacked the underground tomb, debris started falling from the ceiling, signaling signs of collapse.

"This place is going to collapse! Don't look back, just keep running!" Wright shouted at the two women.

The Wight holding a greatsword slowly rose and walked toward Wright. The dragon Shouts had little effect on him, and the shield-bearing and archery Wights were also slowly closing in on him.

Boom~~

A sound came from the ornate stone coffin in the center of the hall, as a withered hand inside pushed the stone lid aside.

A Wight, larger than Wright, stood up from the coffin. He wore heavy plate armor, and the dry flesh was stuck to the armor. Some decayed cloth adornments were draped over the outside, and the helmet had a crown design. A few strands of platinum hair hung down from the gaps in the helmet.

The crowned Wight stood straight, slowly turned its head, and stared at Wright with eyes filled with purple soul fire. Even the falling debris from the ceiling couldn't budge his large form.

Wright stood up, pulled the arrow out of his knee, and cast a healing spell. While the bleeding stopped, the wound couldn't fully heal as the arrow's magic continued to drain his life force.

Ignoring the pain, Wright limped toward the tunnel, opened his belt and drank all four potions in one go.

Turning around to check on the Wights, the three were rapidly approaching. The crowned Wight had already exited the coffin and was about to grab the weapon from the stone table beside it.

Wright threw two explosive fireballs at the crowned Wight and the shield-bearing Wight, hoping to knock the crowned demon's weapon away to buy some time.

The crowned Wight saw the fireballs coming and bent forward to grab the weapon. The fireballs exploded on his armor, and flames immediately enveloped him.

The shield-bearing Wight crouched slightly, leaning his shield forward with one foot back, maximizing the shield's protection. The fireball exploded against the shield, pushing the demon back four or five steps, but the fire dissipated around him as he continued his advance toward Wright.

Despite being burned by the flames, the crowned Wight continued his movements. He gripped a massive sword with both hands, raised it above his head, and swung it down toward Wright with a powerful slash. A crescent-shaped Blood-red magicka slash shot out from the sword, flying toward Wright at high speed.

The distance between them wasn't too far, and the Blood-red magicka slash passed in the blink of an eye. Wright barely had time to turn around before the magicka slash struck his back.

The three layers of magical defense, the Valyrian steel altar in his backpack, and Wright's powerful vitality all came into play. The magicka slash didn't cleave him in half but instead pushed him toward the tunnel.

Wright's feet scraped the ground as he was pushed dozens of meters, only coming to a stop when the red magicka slash lost its force. He lay on the ground, his backpack now a distance away.

Although he wasn't cut in half, the pain from his back and internal injuries was intense, and a deep wound extended from his left shoulder down to his waist.

Boom~~

The deepest part of the hall collapsed, sending a cloud of dust flying toward the tunnel.

Wright quickly got up, the healing spell's golden light continuing to shine as the wound on his back rapidly healed. He limped toward the tunnel, switching his Iron Skin spell to the highest-tier Dragonhide spell.

Finally, reaching the slope of the tunnel, Wright stopped and turned to face the now pitch-black tunnel. He began gathering magicka in both hands.

The four Wights had entered the tunnel, and the eight purple soul flames in their eyes gleamed ominously in the darkness.

Wright positioned himself in a horse stance, and magic rapidly accumulated in his hands. The Flame Cloak effect was long gone, and now electric currents began to crackle around him.

The current hummed as it passed through the air, and his clothes under the Ice Armor started to burn from the electrical charge. Black marks appeared on his skin where the current passed.

The buzzing grew louder as the magic in his palms turned into electric currents, the brightness becoming blinding.

"Hah!" Wright shouted, thrusting both hands forward.

The magicka in front of him transformed into electrical currents the size of a man's arm, and there wasn't just one, but dozens of them!

Dozens of blue and white electric currents intertwined and swirled together, forming a massive electrical surge nearly two meters in diameter, rushing toward the four Wights with incredible force.

The wind generated by the current caused Wright's long hair to whip around wildly. The entire underground tunnel was illuminated by the electric currents, accompanied by a deafening roar.

The thunder from the night sky could be heard several kilometers away, but here in the enclosed underground space, the sound disappeared almost immediately.

The current reached its target in an instant, hitting the shield-bearing Wight first. The lightning coursed through his armor, burning his decaying body. Despite the magical resistance of his armor, his body started to burn to ash, blown away by the current.

The shield-bearing demon wasn't dead yet. He summoned all his strength to lift his shield, blocking some of the current and protecting the others.

The electric current scattered upon hitting the shield, but the crowned Wight, standing behind him, grabbed the Wight holding the greatsword, using him as a shield to block the electricity.

The current couldn't just be blocked; it ran wild, striking the crowned demon's armor. The gray armor flickered with faint blue magical light, reducing the power of the electricity, though it still caused some damage to his body.

The crowned demon threw the greatsword Wight forward into the electric storm, and all the electricity concentrated on the latter, who was immediately consumed by the current.

The crowned demon grabbed his own double-handed sword and swung it horizontally at Wright. Another crescent-shaped Blood-red magicka slash flew out, this time aiming at Wright's waist.

The tunnel was blinding with light, and Wright couldn't see the magicka slash. He only felt a tremendous force hit his waist, causing his body to bend in the air. The release of magicka was interrupted, and he was slammed into the exquisite reliefs on the wall, creating a large dent in the stone.

The red magicka slash struck Wright in the center of his body, with the sides of the attack cutting through the obsidian relief, leaving two massive gashes.

The shield-bearing Wight remained in its shield-bearing stance, now a pile of charred remains, with the purple soul fire in its eyes extinguished.

The crowned Wight pointed at Wright, letting out a shrill cry, and began marching toward him with a menacing pace.

The archery Wight followed behind, its body charred, and the greatsword Wight slowly rose from the ground, shaking his body. His soul fire ignited once more as he raised his double swords and advanced toward Wright.

The crowned Wight's first sword attack had carved a deep wound into Wright, and this second attack was partially mitigated by his Dragonhide spell. Despite the reduced damage, the immense force still caused internal bleeding.

Boom~~

The tunnel began to collapse.

Wright quickly summoned an Ice Giant to block his rear and cast a healing spell on himself. Dragging his aching body and limping leg, he pushed forward toward the exit.

"The Crowned Undead is equipped with top-tier gear. I can't defeat it. The tomb is collapsing — if I don't get out now, I'll be buried here. Undead normally can't leave the cave; once I'm out, I'll be safe."

Wright reached the top of the sculpted slope and was about to enter the side path leading to the altar when a hum was heard, followed by a flash of red light. The summoned Ice Giant was cleaved in two.

Without looking back, Wright summoned another Ice Giant to block the path. Each Ice Giant could only withstand one strike, which drained Wright's resources quickly, but as long as it delayed the enemy, it was worth the cost.

Ahead, Wright could already see a glimmer of light. After healing, the bleeding had stopped, and he quickened his pace, scrambling up the pile of rubble.

Nymeria and Tyene were laboring up the winding stairs, still a long way from the top, at least ninety meters from the excavation pit.

"Wright is out!" The two women were relieved — seeing him emerge meant he was safe. But Wright's next words doused their relief with cold water.

"Keep going up, the monsters are following!"

The two women looked down into the pit.

A flash of red light appeared at the bottom, and a crescent-shaped sword energy shot from the tunnel, striking the pile of rubble.

The tomb inside was made of obsidian, which offered excellent defense against the sword energy. The ordinary stones outside were sliced in half by the energy before it vanished.

Climbing the stairs was exhausting, each step draining their strength, and they could barely lift their legs. It was their first time encountering such creatures, and they could only push through the pain in their legs and continue their escape.

Wright activated wind magic to quickly catch up. He grabbed each of them with a Mage Hand, lifting them a level up. Meanwhile, Wright began gathering his magic again.

This time, he used a Master-level Meteor Shower. Unlike in Braavos, he focused all the fire meteors' impact points on the mine pit.

Planting his feet and raising both hands, gold and red flames gathered at his palms. Wright timed it perfectly, and with a burst, he shot a fireball straight into the sky.

Wright ran ahead again. The two women, with their normal human stamina, moved too slowly and were soon caught by Wright.

"Hold on tight to me!"

Each woman tightly clutched Wright, and white magical hands extended from Wright, pulling them up the next level. As they fell, Wright grabbed the level above again. This process repeated, allowing the three of them to quickly escape the excavation pit.

"Go to the camp and mount the horses, I think those things can get out."

"Okay, be careful!" The two women ran toward the camp while Wright stayed by the edge of the pit, watching the bottom.

Boom~~

The ground trembled as dust erupted from the underground entrance, and the tomb collapsed completely.

"What the hell have these things become?"

The dust cleared at the bottom of the excavation pit, revealing three pairs of purple eyes, staring at Wright. Their bodies trembled as if adjusting to the daylight.

Wright gathered his magicka again, forming a fireball the size of a face in each hand. He infused them with wind magic, and the fireball began to spin violently.

"Die!"

Wright's rings reduced 40% of the consumption of Destruction magic. After releasing an enhanced explosive fireball, he began gathering another one.

Necromantic fire was weak, and casting fire spells underground was difficult. Now that he was out of the excavation pit, Wright gained an elevated position and began bombing.

The fireball wasn't fast, but all three Undead kept their eyes on it. Seeing it fly toward them, the Crowned Undead raised a hand toward it, while the other two Undead moved aside, watching the fireball.

"Fo~~Krah~~Diin~~"

The Undead spoke an ancient dragon tongue, releasing a massive ice storm from his mouth, gradually expanding into a scale comparable to dragon fire. But instead of fire, this was a chilling icy mist.

The massive cold air clashed with the fireball in mid-air.

Boom~~

The fireball exploded, pushing the ice storm into pieces. Fire and white mist surged in the air, filling the space with a dense fog. The deafening explosion startled all the birds in the nearby woods.

The ice storm was far stronger than the fireball. Although broken, it still had enough power to envelop the mist, rushing out of the pit toward Wright.

Realizing the threat, Wright had no choice but to release another explosive fireball to clash with the cold storm.

Boom~~

Another loud explosion. Finally, the ice storm was completely dissipated, and a violent cold wind surged from the pit. Wright felt a bone-chilling cold, and frost formed at the pit's opening.

The dissipating white mist filled the entire excavation pit, creating a stark contrast with the golden-red sky.

The first fire meteor broke through the clouds, crashing into the pit.

"Fo~~Krah~~Diin~~"

Boom~~~

The collision of cold air and flames created a massive explosion, knocking the trees outside the pit off-balance.

Wright summoned a fire elemental to continuously cast fireballs, keeping the three Undead at the bottom of the pit. Meanwhile, he gripped the Dark Sisters, carefully observing the mist-filled pit to prevent any surprises.

More fire meteors crashed down.

Using Dragon Shouts in this world drained magicka, and even the Undead couldn't use them endlessly.

Boom~ Boom~ Boom~ Boom~

Golden-red explosions illuminated the bottom of the pit, with shockwaves scattering the white mist. The continuous explosions caused cracks to appear around the pit, and rocks fell into it.

"Fo~Krah~Diin~~"

The Undead were still using their ice-based Dragon Shout in defense, but facing the most powerful fire magic that directly countered their elemental affinity, several fire meteors fell, and no more resistance came from the pit.

Nymeria and Tyene arrived on horseback, followed by two handmaidens riding horses with blinders on to lessen their fright. They were still able to ride.

"How is it? Is it over?" Nymeria asked, remembering Wright's fire magic well: wherever it landed, it turned into a fiery hell, and no one survived.

Wright raised his left hand to signal them to be quiet as he carefully observed the bottom of the pit.

The smoke at the pit's bottom slowly dissipated. The Undead wielding a bow and a greatsword were shattered into pieces, their armor and bodies fused together. Two helmets had been blasted off, but their heads remained among the rubble, and Wright saw that the soul flames in their eyes had already extinguished.

"What about the Crowned Undead?"

"What's that?" Nymeria pointed with her spear towards the pit.

Wright looked over to see that the Crowned Undead's body, along with his weapon, had turned transparent, emitting a faint blue glow. He was running tirelessly up the stairs along the pit's perimeter.

"You two head north and keep your distance from me," Wright said calmly to the women.

Without speaking, Nymeria noticed the injuries on Wright's body and nodded firmly, urging her horse to run. Tyene began to cry, but Wright slapped her horse, which startled it, and she was forced to follow her sister. The two handmaidens also left with them.

"The power of the Rahgot Mask—Bloodthirsty Scythe, Phantasmal Intangibility, formidable magical resistance. My fellow countryman really turned his son into a super warrior!"

The Crowned Undead continued to run upward as Wright watched from above.

If the Undead were only using Dragon Shouts learned from knowledge, they would be weak and manageable. But if it was a true descendant of dragons, that would be far more dangerous.

Entering the system, there were four dragon souls remaining. After analyzing all the options, Wright finally decided to combine three dragon souls into one Dragon Shout.

This world's magic source was dragons, and Wright had been waiting for Daenerys to hatch three dragons. But now, unable to defeat the Undead, facing death himself, Wright no longer cared about the Dragon Mother, the Red Comet, the Prophecies of the Gods, or the struggles for power!

Wright pointed his sword at the silhouette of the Crowned Undead, roaring, "I am the Dragonborn! I am the True Dragon!"

Having consumed a potion to restore his magicka, Wright's magic reserves were now sufficient. Standing at the edge of the pit, he gathered all his magic to his upper body and slowly focused it toward his mouth.

Before he could shout the first word of the Dragon Shout, a cloud of darkness obscured the sun, and the sky grew dim. The wind rustled through the trees.
