Chapter 426: Destroy Heaven
Her face didn't have any expression even as she held his hands, like she was incapable of having expressions. Even then, Silva could not help but let out a soft smile.
"Do you have a name?" he asked. She slowly shook her head.
"I see, then how about I call you Snow?" he said. She paused, looking into his eyes for a few seconds, and then she nodded, agreeing to the name he proposed.
"Snow, do you want to leave this place? There's a whole world outside, places that I'm sure you would love to see," Silva said.
She paused again, then she nodded and let go of the toy in her second hand. She stood to her feet, looking up at Silva.
"Alright, Snow, I'll show you the world and beyond," he said. He carefully wrapped his hand behind her back, lifting her off the ground. He carried her as carefully as he could. She didn't make a single sound; the only thing Silva could hear from her was the sound of her own breathing.
Silva slowly walked to the door. He realized that the tubes with him were in the lab, and he didn't want the first image Snow saw to be something this horrific.
He gently turned to her and looked her in the eyes. "Snow, I'll need you to rest your head a bit, please, and not look up until I say so."
She nodded without any hassle and moved her head onto his shoulder, her eyes closed. She held tight to him. Silva walked out of the room and saw the old man at the corner.
The man didn't want his voice heard, so he mouthed the words "thank you" to Silva. Silva nodded and walked toward the hole that he came through. He looked at the humans in the tubes, still stuck in their eternal pain, but all that would end today.
He got to the hole and spread out his wings. He shot upward at a quick yet safe pace for Snow. He came out of the hole, back into the hall with statues.
"You can look up now, Snow," he said calmly. She raised her head up, looked at him first, and then looked around with a curious gaze. This was her first time ever seeing outside; it fascinated her.
Silva watched her. He felt happy watching her, the happiest he had felt in a very long while.
When Terra and Lucy felt his presence, they rushed back to the hall. Immediately, Lucy saw Snow. She paused, giving Silva a weird look.
"I'll explain everything later. First, now we have to completely destroy the realm and everyone in it."
"You mean kill every celestial?" Lucy asked.
"Yes, everyone. It's a request that one of their oldest made to me. The celestials have a secret that warrants their death. According to him, he said we have to do it," Silva said.
"I don't fully understand what you are saying, but I'll go along with it," Lucy said. Silva nodded in appreciation and started walking out of the hall.
"So, I'm guessing by that girl in your hands that you have found the truth, right?" Lucy asked.
"Yes, and it's something I never thought it would be. A very gruesome secret, held for millennia. I'm happy that it actually comes to an end now," Silva said. He walked out of the castle and immediately took to the air.
He looked at Terra and then handed Snow to her. "Make sure she doesn't see what is happening, at all," he said. Terra nodded and then focused her attention on Snow.
Snow's view suddenly changed into one of beautiful fields and mountains, with rainbows and birds flying in the sky. With the power of creation in her, Terra could easily do something like this.
Now that Snow was not seeing, Silva took out his sword, and Lucy did the same.
"I might as well help you to make it faster," she said. Terra also created a massive blade of light in the sky, the size of two floating islands.
Silva was shocked that even as she was distracting Snow, she could still do this.
"Alright then, to make it quick, we attack one point—the center—and that will be all we need to make the entire realm collapse," he said as he raised his blade.
He channeled the power of will through it, pouring all he could into the blade, the same way he did in Hell. A bright aura shined from his giant body, creating the same beam of light as before. The strength of the aura kept growing exponentially as he stood there.
Lucy held her sword as well, channeling her dark flames. The flames blazed hot and compressed tightly to the sword, then more flames formed and compressed again, repeating the process several times, creating a very compressed and hot flame.
After a few minutes, the space began rippling violently. Spatial tears of different kinds began to form. Silva finally brought his sword down in a slow and controlled manner.
"Now," he said in a calm voice, and all three of them attacked the exact same spot. Silva threw his blade like a spear, and so did Lucy.
Terra released her giant light sword, and all three hit the ground at the same time. The effect was instant, as a massive explosion followed. The explosion wiped away all the islands in only a few seconds, killing everyone and destroying everything.
The realm immediately began shattering, falling into pieces. Silva and Lucy called back their swords. Silva used his sword to quickly tear through space, creating their exit.
If he wasted too much time, there would be no way to get an exit, and they would die inside a collapsing realm.
Terra went out with Snow first, followed by Lucy, and then Silva. He looked back at the realm. All this happened because of Ophelia. She did this to all of them. Everyone on Argon faced a destructive fate because of her selfishness.
