When the entire situation went to fuck with the arrival of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears, the trio of the Highborne Asuryani immediately bolted toward the Arachnid Nest as they went for the infiltration mission of the Arachnid Nest.

It was clear that the Empyrean Power that was spreading through the Nest like cancer and devouring everything in its path would destroy the entire Arachnid Nest far sooner than they had predicted, and then nothing would remain.

Arcturus knew that the Empyrean Power would devour everything, including the Brain Bug and Pseudo Queen Bug, which were their crown prizes for the expedition into the wilderness of the Ziras IV, and something like that could not be allowed.

If not for the Pseudo Queen Bug and Brain Bug, then their mission wouldn't be really worth that much because they were planning to sell the Pseudo Queen Bug to the highest bidder within the Empire.

Unfortunately for the Brain Bug, it was too huge to be transported, most probably, so they would take only his central brain with them and give it to the Directorate as their mission from the Imperial Government told them.

The Empyrean Power was already consuming much of the uppermost layer of the Arachnid Nest, which was partly a great shock to everyone from the Asuryani because not even Arcturus expected that the Empyrean Power would be spreading this kind of fast.

As this was an entirely new dimension of speed.

However, when they entered the Arachnid Nest, he managed to find out why the Empyrean Power started spreading around ten times faster than he had initially predicted.

It seemed that the Brain Bug started using the ambient Psionic Energy of the entire Arachnid Nest to forcibly combat the Empyrean Power that was spreading across the entirety of the Nest at lightning speed.

Which was probably the stupidest thing that the bugs could do, but through this, they were only adding fuel to the fire. When the bugs started doing this, it resulted in the Empyrean Power getting even more powerful and aggressive because this ability thrived on resistance and fighting.

'We need to move as fast as possible... the bugs started fighting the Empyrean Power with the Psionic Energy instead of destroying the parts of the Nest and letting the Empyrean Power dissipate into nothingness and be done with it, they are feeding the Empyrean Power almost overwhelming number of the Psionic Energy so right now, the Empyrena Power is spreading through the entire structure of the Arachnid Nest with a lightning speed, and within a few hours maximally it would devour most of the Arachnid Nest.'

Arcturus sent a message to Zehal and Jeniael as the situation was getting out of control.

He didn't know why the bugs decided to fight the Empyrean Power head-on, because he was sure that they must have absolutely known that the Empyrean Power was dangerous and that it was feeding on the Psionic Energy.

For whatever reason, they decided to fight the Empyrean Power in the upper levels of the Arachnid Nest with the Psionic Energy, and it seemed that the Brain Bug was throwing everything within the Arachnid Nest at it in order to stop the spread of the Empyrean Power.

Yet, in the end, they were making the situation only worse because the Empyrean Power was getting stronger and stronger within the limits, and what were initially days were now mere hours.

This was probably the first time since Arcturus got to experience the terror of his own power, because he didn't really thought that the Empyrean Power would be this kind of dangerous and powerful.

Especially if it was fed the Psionic Energy to the limits.

'On the way. Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears started wreaking havoc on the battlefield, and they managed to attract at least two thousand more bugs from the Arachnid Nest. I don't see the Praetorian Bugs, and only a small number of the Tiger Warrior Bugs are present on the battlefield; it seems that they have decided to concentrate their strongest in the deepest chambers together with the Pseudo Queen Bug.'

Zehal's voice echoed in his mind and Jenaiel's as she, too, headed towards one of the entrances to the Arachnid Nest. They had now limited time, and Zehal could see why the bugs were doing what they were doing.

With the appearance of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears on the battlefield and attacking the Arachnid Nest ferociously, the situation for the bugs has changed drastically because it seemed that the entire colony of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears, together with a few other species of different beasts native to the Frostearth Valley has come to attack the bugs.

It seemed that the beasts had noticed that someone was attacking the Arachnid Nest and caused them heavy losses and even managed to kill the Titan Bug...

Upon this, when the second phase of their plan was activated, it seemed that the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears that were attracted due to Zehal's machinations brought up with them a lot more reinforcements.

It seemed that the bugs were desperate and on the ends of their wits, and they decided to throw everything at their enemies. And in regard to the Empyrean Power that was now consuming the Arachnid Nest at lightning speed, that was something to which Zehal didn't have an answer...

Unless...

'Arcturus, could they artificially cause an explosion of the Empyrean Power by overfeeding it the Psionic Energy in a short span of time?'

This was rather a crazy idea that flashed through her mind, but it seemed to be pretty doable in Zehal's mind.

'Theoretically, it could be possible, but you would need Psionic Energy, which is so overwhelmingly powerful that it would be in the realm of Beyyonders. The Dimension Empyrean's Empyrean Power is something that is highly hazardous even among the Beyonder-type Energies. So I don't think that they could cause there any kind of oversaturation... but they could cause overflow theoretically... in the backward... that would wipe out everything in the Valley too and would be much safer, at least technically...'

Arcturus was in deep thought as he seemed to realize what was the plan of the Brain Bug that, as crazy as it seemed, it could work. At least on a theoretical basis, but it was very dangerous, yet if it worked successfully, it would wipe out everything in the entire Frostearth Valley.

Considering the fact that it seemed that the entire Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear colony was fighting here against the bugs, together with several hundred other different beasts and animals that were living in the Frostearth Valley and were enemies of the bugs.

It would leave the bugs as the undisputed rulers of the entire Frostearth Valley without any rivals, and they could develop as much as they wished. Yet, they would need to have perfect timing for causing the flood in the Empyrean Power and, at the same time, destroy a considerable part of their Nest to stop the spread of the Empyrean Power.

'I can stop the overflooding rather easily if I am in the vicinity of the Empyrean Power. I can control the flow of the Psionic Energy and control its flow into the Empyrean Power and prevent the overflooding.'

Arcturus was confident in achieving this because, in fact, he wanted to prevent this mainly to save the lives of the beasts that were now fighting the Arachnids. He knew that the bugs would die either way, but he always had a certain soft spot for the beasts and animals, and it would be rather stupid to let them die in this way.

'I and Jen-Jen will go deeper into the Nest and clear the way while you control the flow. Can you return some back to the source?'

He pondered and in the end agreed to it as it seemed doable.

He knew that Zehal wanted for him to transfer some of the Psionic Energy back to the Brain Bug that was controlling most of the Psionic Energy; if he sent some of it back to the Brain Bug in the reverse flow, he would be able to knock out the Brain Bug and render it unconscious at least for some time.

And in a situation like this, every second was being counted for their own good.

'Then let's start.'

Arcturus sent back his words as he started running toward the place where the congregation of the Empyrean Power and Psionic Energy was the densest and most powerful, as that was the epicenter of the fusion.

Meanwhile, the trio of the Highborne Asuryani was infiltrating the Arachnid Nest, and the whole bunch of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears was tearing through the hundreds of the Arachnids that rushed out of the Nest from the various side entrances.

Even though there was one primary entrance to the Arachnid Nest, there were countless side entrances from the extensive underground tunnel network that were created by the bugs since they created their own Nest in the Frostearth Valley.

And now, from every single possible nook and cranny, there were hundreds of bugs rushing at the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears that were leading the charge against the Arachnids as the fierce battle was taking place in the depths of the valley.

Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears tore through the Warrior Bugs like they were made from paper as they used their large physical bodies and their claws to destroy everything that stood in their charge, yet not even the bugs were without the fight.

The battle was rather fierce as the bugs were doing everything that they could to stop the advance of the beasts, but the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears that were fighting against the Arachnids were too powerful.

The Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears were now determined the end the bug menace once and for all, and they were fighting with everything that they could do to achieve their goal, and they were succeeding.

Even though they had some losses, as in a few minutes, around twenty of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears fell, for every bear that was killed, the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears killed even twenty times more bugs, and soon enough, the number of bugs on the battlefield started getting lower and lower...

Arcturus looked at the epicenter of the Empyrean Power, where the Psionic Energy of the Arachnid Nest was clashing against the Empyyrean Pwoer as the Empyrean Power was getting stronger and stronger.

'That power here would be enough to obliterate even peak Alpha-Grade Psyker if it went berserk... fascinating...'

In fact, he was a bit fascinated by the interaction between the Empyrean Power and Psionic Energy and how powerful the Empyrean Power already got.

What he did as the first thing was start the circulation of the Nuclear Chaos Formula, and then he started controlling all of the ambient Psionic Energy that was being flooded into the Empyrean Power.

It was rather a hard thing to do because the amount of the Psionic Energy was literarily overwhelming, yet at the same time, the quality of the Psionic Energy was really subpart, far inferior to the Psionic Energy that Arcturus possessed, so that made the entire thing much easier.

Soon enough, he started getting notifications from the system about the increasement in proficiency with the Nuclear Chaos Formula as he was using that technique to control an overwhelming amount of Psionic Energy.

Soon enough, his proficiency with the Nunclear Chaos Formula reached Level 4 - 75%, and it was nowhere near stopping as he carefully controlled the flow of the Psionic Energy toward the Empyrean Power to slow down the growth in the Empyrean Power, and it worked rather well.

At the same time, he started manipulating some amount of the Psionic Energy and directing it back to it's source, which was the Brain Bug.

He was gathering the Psionic Energy because he needed a lot of it for his plan to work successfully, and once he gathered enough of the Psionic Energy, he created the reverse flow and sent it all back toward the source of the control.

With the green energy cracking all around the place, the Psionic Energy in the entire Arachnid Nest suddenly became stagnant as it was unmoving and just remaining in the place where it was.

This was a sign that his plan against the Brain Bug worked, and the expansion of the Empyrean Power was slowed down tremendously while at the same time, he increased his proficiency with the Nuclear Chaos Formula to the Level 5 Apprentice - 29%, which was a very nice bonus on everything.

'Zehal, it's done here. The possibility of the Empyrean Power overflowing is zero, and I managed to send a reversed flow of the Psionic Energy towards the Brain Bug; it should have knocked it out because now the Psionic Energy of the Nest is in a dormant state. I am heading toward your position. What's your current status?'

Arcturus contacted Zehal as he passed her the information about his situation while he bolted toward the lower areas of the Nest as he tried not to flinch when he was passing through the flesh-crafted corridors of the Arachnid Nest.

'We are alright. Managed to kill several Praetorian Bugs that ambushed us. Our current position is the lower floors of the Nest, on the way to the main central chamber where the Brain Bug and Pseudo Queen Bug are located.'

Arcturus nodded as he was somewhat surprised that they managed to kill several Praetorian Bugs as those were pretty powerful, but considering Jenaiel's combat prowess in one-on-one single combat, it wasn't actually that much surprising.

He increased his speed as he ran toward their position while the two women steadily advanced through the corridors of the Arachnid Nest and cleaned out any bug that remained there.
