Chapter 199: Korrin upgrades to Tier 4
For the next four days, Ram methodically continued his campaign of harassment against the Blood Hawk gang members.
Every spare moment he got, he used his tactics to disrupt their activities, sowing chaos and fear among their gang members.
Korrin and the other Half-Drows were instrumental in these skirmishes, striking swiftly and retreating before the gang could organize a proper counterattack.
At first, their hit-and-run strategy worked seamlessly, catching the gang off-guard and eliminating numerous members.
But as the days passed, the Blood Hawk gang adapted. They became more vigilant, moving in tighter, heavily armed groups.
Thankfully, Ram managed to avoid being caught throughout the operations.
However, his ability to seemingly vanish and reappear during attacks had not gone unnoticed.
Among the gang, rumors began to circulate. Some believed his escape was due to an awakened talent.
Still, greed began to fester within the gang. Some members speculated that Ram possessed a treasure capable of teleportation, something far beyond the realm of ordinary talents.
These whispers only fueled their determination to capture him alive, turning their pursuit into a deadly game of cat and mouse.
There was also a time when he was chased by three Tier 4 professionals at the same time, but he escaped thanks to the help of Sylvan Space.
Currently, the western end streets of the Cyber Core district, where the base of the Blood Hawk Gang operates, that were once crawling with Blood Hawk gang members grew quieter, with fewer members roaming outside, all scared of his sudden attack.
It's not just the Blood Hawk gang; some other gangs also joined the fun to capture him.
This increased difficulty came with a cost. Ram lost many Half-Drows during the confrontations or ambushes.
However, even when most of his subordinates died, his Sylvan Soul Tree allowed him to collect their souls and use the Sylvan Spirit Rebirth, bringing them back alive.
Despite the losses, he managed to maintain his forces, without any losses.
Together with Korrin's ability to summon more Half Drows, his subordinates increased at an alarming rate while the Blood Hawk Gang lost there's.
[Herd Summoning]: Use 200 source power to summon fifty Elite Fire Mages of the same species daily. Or you can summon five 'Rare' quality Fire Mages of the same species daily.
Looking back at Korrin's racial characteristics he also found how stupid he was before when he ordered Korrin to summon rare quality Fire Mages instead of fifty elite quality Fire mages.
Usually, it's better to summon rare quality Fire Mages, because the number of resources and special items required to evolve a creature like half-Drow from Elite to Rare quality was not small.
However, his circumstances were different, he could use his spiritual power to improve their quality that others cannot do.
This sudden realization a few days back made his strategy change from summoning five rare quality Fire Mages to fifty Elite quality each day.
While the number of Half-Drow hunters were still few in numbers, together with the souls he revived the total number of Half-Drows increased from 23 to 370, with more than 90 rare quality Half-Drows.
These days every time he went to fight against the Blood Hawk gang's bases, the number of souls they harvested continued to increase more and more.
Ram was finally able to cure all the children he had saved.
Each night, he would painstakingly channel the collected soul power, watching the kids' conditions improve one by one.
It was exhausting, but their recovery brought him a sense of fulfillment that outweighed the toll on his mind and body.
During these days, while staying in touch with Mai and others, Ram was constantly vigilant of Shane and his movements.
The Half-Drow hunters regularly reported updates, and Ram ensured he always had an escape plan.
Whenever something seemed amiss, he didn't hesitate to retreat immediately, refusing to give Shane any opportunity to capture him.
Aside from helping the children he had saved, Ram focused on another crucial objective: upgrading Korrin to Tier 4.
The progress was steady, with every battle Korrin fought he was able to earn a large number of Evolutionary points and now the moment was finally within reach.
[ Name: Fire Mage Leader - Korrin (Mutant Half-Drow)]

Ram observed Korrin, who sat cross-legged in front of him. He asked with a calm but curious tone, as he looked at Korrin's attribute panel. "Are you sure you don't need my help for this?"

Korrin shook his head respectfully. "No, Master. Over these days, I've collected enough evolutionary points."
"Although the points aren't sufficient to evolve me into a complete Drow, they're more than enough to advance to Tier 4 and further strengthen my bloodline."
Korrin glanced at the three Half-Drows standing behind him and added, "But Master, I'll need your assistance with these three if they encounter any issues during their upgrade."
Ram nodded, his gaze steady and reassuring. "You don't need to worry, Korrin. I'll keep an eye on them. You can focus on your own upgrade without distraction."
Ling Xi, standing beside Ram, chimed in with a warm smile. "Yes. If anything, unusual happens, I'll be here to help as well. Focus on yourself."
Since his space doesn't have enough reiki to supply these four half-drows, he brought them to the Wood Spirit Realm area rich in Reiki and Life energy, making it an ideal place for the evolution process.
Ram stood watch with Ling Xi by his side, her calm presence reassuring. He kept his spiritual senses sharp, scanning the surroundings for any threats or disturbances.
Korrin, sitting cross-legged, began to channel the evolutionary points he had accumulated.
A faint red aura enveloped him, intensifying as the minutes passed. Behind him, the other three Half-Drows mirrored his actions, though the red energy they were enveloped in was slightly weaker.
As time passed, Korrin's aura grew fiercer, the air around him vibrating with intense spiritual fluctuations and fire aura as the power of his bloodline awakened further. Ram watched intently, ready to intervene if needed.
"His progress is steady," Ling Xi noted, her eyes glowing faintly as she observed the flow of energy. "He had a good foundation, reaching General Quality before upgrading to Tier 4 can already show his own talent and potential."
She then looked at the other three and continued, "While they might struggle a bit, they also had a strong talent and can make it through."
When Ram heard Ling Xi's words, he nodded in agreement, but internally his head was full of black lines, he couldn't help but think.
"What strong talent and strong foundation? Would she believe me if I say, these guys were cavemen a few weeks ago," he thought, shaking his head as he laughed.
However, what Ling Xi spoke was not false, even if they were transformed from cavemen, right now they all evolved into Half Drows, and each one of them is 'Rare' quality and above.
Even the Tier 5 Lords like Lord Bae and others he met before don't have subordinates with such qualifications.
Ling Xi noticed his amusement and asked curiously, "Why are you laughing?"
Ram waved her off with a casual grin. "Ha-ha, it's nothing. I just remembered something funny."
As they spoke, Korrin and the other three Half-Drows steadily progressed in their transformation process.
The spiritual power within their bodies began to condense into a liquid state, a critical milestone for advancing to Tier 4.
The transformation, however, was neither easy nor risk-free.
The Tier 3 body wasn't naturally equipped to handle the intense concentration of liquid spiritual power. A single misstep could cause severe damage, leaving lasting consequences or even failure to upgrade to Tier 4.
Which is also the major hurdle they every Tier 3 creature had to undergo to reach Tier 4.
Despite the risks, as the spiritual power turned into liquid form, it began to strengthen their bodies and minds, preparing them to bear the weight of their newfound strength.
Korrin's fiery red aura grew more intense, flickering like flames around him.
The other three Half-Drows, though slower in their progress, also showed signs of steady advancement.
The concentrated energy caused the air around them to ripple, and the nearby vegetation around them to sway under the invisible pressure.
Ling Xi observed closely, her glowing eyes tracking the flow of energy. "Their bodies are adapting faster than expected."
Ram crossed his arms, his expression relaxed but alert. "It's fortunate this place is rich in Reiki and Life Energy. Without it, their progress would've been much slower, and the risks much higher."
Ling Xi nodded in agreement, her expression calm but focused. "Their synchronization with the environment's life energy is also improving, helping them recover their wounds faster."
The energy surrounding Korrin grew thicker, almost tangible, as the flames licking around his body seemed to take on a life of their own, and it was not just flames, his body also attracted large amounts of Life energy from the surroundings.
His body pulsed with power; each wave stronger than the last. The glow of his aura reflected on his skin, now taking on a faint crimson hue.
The other three Half-Drows weren't far behind. Beads of sweat formed on their foreheads, but their expressions remained resolute.
The red energy surrounding them flickered erratically, evidence of their struggle to stabilize the immense power coursing through their bodies.
As the moments stretched, Korrin's aura began to stabilize, signaling that he was nearing the end of his evolution.
