Chapter 4: Twisted Space-Time, No God of Destruction or Angel

He instantly unleashed the full power of the angel and charged toward Beerus, narrowly managing to pull him back.

"Ah... Ahhh..." Seeing this, Quitela's eyes widened in fury, unable to utter a word as he glared at the scene before him.

Too fast... Cornick didn't have Whis's level of strength... his candidate was gone!

"Damn you, you hairless cat! Give me back my candidate!"

"Alright then, if something comes up, just call me. My name's Bra!" The girl handed him a business card before getting into her sports car and driving off.

Lin Qi held the card, still somewhat dazed as he watched Bra leave.

"West City? Bra is this grown up already? I'll ask Beerus what year it is when I get back!"

He casually stuffed the card into his pocket and began searching for the presence of gods, but soon his face showed confusion.

"Strange... I can't sense Whis or Beerus..."

"What about the Supreme Kai... still here!"

The older figure wore similar clothing but had a more weathered appearance, a bald head except for a tuft of hair, and was the Old Supreme Kai.

"Who... who are you?" Kibito Kai was startled by Lin Qi's sudden appearance.

"Candidate for the 4th Universe God of Destruction, Saiyan Lin Qi!" Lin Qi introduced himself.

Though these two Supreme Kais were weaklings, they were still gods, and he had to show them some respect—especially since he had questions for them.

"God of Destruction candidate? What's that?" Kibito Kai asked in confusion, turning to look at the Old Supreme Kai.

"Ancestor, do you know? Ever heard of it?"

The Old Supreme Kai clearly knew more. After a brief moment of surprise, he quickly replaced it with a smile.

"I am the Supreme Kai of this universe!"

The Old Supreme Kai stood up, nodding and bowing respectfully toward Lin Qi, before glaring at Kibito Kai and scolding him.

"Fix your attitude! He is also a god!"

"But..." Kibito Kai tilted his head, pointing his finger at Lin Qi. "He's human... just like Goku and the others..."

"Shut up!" The Old Supreme Kai smacked Kibito Kai on the head. "That kind of attitude will easily offend gods!"
