Chapter 270- Family dinner(1)
Richard has never felt this much emotional in his life as he was feeling right now.
Holding the young child in his hand, he felt he had achieved the world.
Looking at the soundly sleeping face of the baby, he felt his heart melting. The smile of contentment never left his face as he slowly moved his arms and walked around the room.
Inside the room, Amelia was still resting and recovering. Along with her, Bella, Emily, and the others were also present.
Although it was tiring for her and she barely held onto her consciousness after giving birth, all that mattered was that she was alive and no lasting damage was left on her body.
Richard has already asked for the best healer to see Amelia and has already arranged things for her proper care.
"Never thought I would become a father..." He softly whispered.
Richard still vividly remembers both of his deaths.
When he killed himself after getting betrayed by Emily, he never thought he would be able to love someone again. And in his next life, when he died at the hands of zombies, he never thought he could have a family of his own.
However, now, not only does he have more than one person he loves dearly, he has built a family with them as well.
There could be nothing greater he could achieve in his life.
"Someone looks happy." Suddenly, Rena appeared from the inside of the room, with a smile on her face.
Since Bellarine and the others were with Amelia, she removed herself from the room to not make the place overcrowded.
Richard smilingly showed her the baby, "Isn't she adorable? Can someone really be this cute?"
Rena giggled as she fiddled the young one's cheek softly, "She is sleeping so soundly...I was scared when she didn't cry earlier."
Rena's knowledge told her that if a baby isn't crying just after birth, then it means bad news.
However, Bellarine assured them that the child of an Elemental Supreme can't be compared to other ordinary children.
"Have you thought of any name?" Rena suddenly asked, only for Richard to nod but then he shook his head.

"Let's discuss it with everyone first." Richard doubted his naming sense. That's why he decided to wait for Amelia to wake up and let everyone gather.
Seeing that smile never fading from his face, Rena asked, "You really are happy, no?"
Richard heaved a sigh, "I can't tell how I am feeling right now...just imagine how happy I was when I scored a perfect hundred on the test...a thousand times more than that."
Rena grinned. She could tell.
"Let me hold her."
Richard nodded before he very carefully handed the little one to Rena.
"She is warm," Rena said as she fondly cradled the girl in her arms, and hummed a peaceful song.
Seeing the baby, moving her little fingers, Rena felt her heart melting....she was so adorable~~~
"Rey, I also want to be a mother now."
"No."
Richard's instant rejection caught Rena off guard, as she stared at him with her eyes widened, "But why?"
Richard had a firm stance as he said, "I have seen how much Amelia has gone through...and I can't see someone else going through such an experience ever again."
Rena was completely taken aback by that reason. But soon she collected her thoughts and said, "But Rey-"
"No, not happening. This is my first and last baby. Discussion over."

[After ten days]
"Attackers, ready?!" The loud voice of the redhead commander echoed in the room, as all the mages summoned their strongest offensive spells and got ready to attack
The whole indoor training ground was filled with mana as they prepared for a unified attack to take down their opponent.
"Defenders, ready?!" Bellarine shouted, and instantly several barriers began to manifest, one a
after another, joining to become a huge shield to defend against the assault.
"Fire!" As she commanded, a barrage of offensive spells launched toward the other side.
Lightning, flames, ice, water, wind...and every element that could be used as an offensive means was launched toward the barriers.
And once the collision happened—
*TING*
The loud noise of the barrier soaking all the attack resonated across the battlefield and that affected the attackers quite much—forcing them to cover their ears.
Once the dust settled, not a single scratch appeared on the shield.
Bellarine huffed before she signaled the mages to take down their spells and told every one of them to gather.
Once they were grouped, Bellarine asked, "Lena...what difference did you notice that made the offensive side so weak and pathetic in comparison."
Her words were harsh but not untrue.
Lena sharply responded, "Our attacks weren't synced. Many of the spells canceled each other out, and we weren't prepared for the recoil."
Bellarine nodded, "That's right. There was no coordination, and based on your performance, I have come to the conclusion that unless you all aren't grouped, you lot will remain hopeless."
Bellarine was expecting a lot from these young inexperienced ones. She was thinking of them as the trained soldiers of Clion who prioritized things like coordination and teamwork.
"From now on, you two hundred will be divided into eight groups, each led by a designated leader and trained by experts in the very skills you believe you've mastered."
"Any questions?"
"No, commander!"
Bellarine nodded, "Dismissed."
....
Once she returned to her office, she found an unexpected surprise waiting for her, "Baby?"
She immediately switched from her Commander mode to doting mother/lover mode as she approached Richard and sat down on his lap,
"Did you come to see me?"
Richard hugged her waist before nodding, "I was worried about you. You have been pushing yourself too hard these days."
Bellarine exhaled a sigh, "Can't be helped. Picking the best from different regions would surely cause problems. Many of them are strangers, and many of them aren't used to being shouted at for something they believe they are best at."
Richard chuckled, "They will slowly learn."
Bellarine shook her head in exhaustion, but then she suddenly flinched and asked, "Today is family dinner, right? Why are we here then?"
Amelia has finally recovered her health, and today, everyone gathered in one place to congratulate the duo.
Richard asked, "Before that, what name have you chosen, Mom?"
Bellarine got off his lap, before she said, "I will only tell you if you join me in the bath."
Richard slowly got up with a smile, "With pleasure."
