Kakashi Enters the Forest

Kakashi stepped into the forest, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings. Naruto, perched high in a tree, watched closely. But in the blink of an eye, Kakashi vanished.

Suddenly, a voice whispered behind Naruto's ear: "Found you, you little brat."

Kakashi formed a hand seal, preparing to teach Naruto an unforgettable lesson: "The ultimate Leaf Village secret technique—Millennium Kill!"

But just as he was about to strike, a warning flashed in his mind.

BOOM!

The Naruto in front of him exploded—another self-destructing clone.

Kakashi substituted himself with a log just in time, avoiding the blast. However, as he landed, the ground beneath him gave way. He had triggered a trap!

Four hands shot out from the ground, grabbing his ankles and dragging him down. Two Naruto clones had been lying in wait.

Naruto Clone: "Gotcha, Sensei. Take care!"

The steel wires tightened around Kakashi, binding him tightly. But before Naruto could celebrate, the bound Kakashi turned into a log.

Substitution Jutsu!

The next moment, the scene shifted. Naruto found himself bound in the same trap he had set.

Kakashi: "Genjutsu: Demonic Illusion—Hell Viewing Technique!"

But the trapped Naruto dispelled himself—another clone.

Naruto's Voice (from all directions): "You're good, Sensei. I'm giving it my all, and you're still one step ahead."

Kakashi stood on a high tree branch, staring at the massive hole in the ground—a trap Naruto had clearly prepared the day before. The hole was three meters wide, dug by hand, not jutsu.

Kakashi: "I hate you even more now…"

He couldn't believe Naruto had gone to such lengths. The sheer number of shadow clones and traps was overwhelming. How much chakra does this kid have? It's been over ten minutes, and I haven't even found his real body yet.

Kakashi: "Is it possible his chakra reserves are several times mine? No way…"

The Trio Regroups

Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata met up in a hidden spot.

Naruto: "See? I used two explosive tags, triggered a trap, and still couldn't catch him. So don't hold back. Use your strongest moves."

Hinata: "Strongest moves…"

Naruto: "Hinata, when you fight him, focus on keeping him in sight. Don't let him use substitution jutsu to escape. I'll keep harassing him. If you get a chance, seal his chakra points. Then Sasuke, hit him with a Fireball Jutsu."

Naruto: "Got it?"

Sasuke nodded.

The two turned to Hinata, who hesitated but finally said, "Okay…"

Naruto: "This is about whether we graduate or not. No room for mistakes. You've got this, Hinata."

Hinata nodded firmly. "I'll do my best!"

The trio split up again.

Kakashi's Counterattack

Naruto's clones continued to taunt Kakashi from all directions, making it hard for him to focus.

Naruto Clone: "Over here, Sensei!"

Kakashi threw a shuriken, dispelling the clone. For the first time, he felt annoyed by a genin's jutsu.

Maybe I should go after Hinata first, Kakashi thought. If I capture her, Naruto might slip up.

He headed for Position B, where Hinata was stationed.

Hinata's Trap

Hinata, using her Byakugan, saw Kakashi approaching. She activated the plan.

As Kakashi closed in, he found Hinata standing alone.

Kakashi: "Hinata, right? Let's see what you've got."

He moved to grab her, but the moment he touched her, she exploded—another self-destructing clone disguised as Hinata.

BOOM!

Kakashi substituted himself just in time, but the real Hinata appeared moments later.

Hinata: "Carcassonne! I'm here!"

She formed a hand seal. "Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

A swarm of Hinata clones surrounded Kakashi, charging at him fearlessly. It was a tactic straight out of Naruto's playbook.

Kakashi: "Clever…"

Before he could react, the real Hinata appeared behind him and struck his chakra points with precision.

Hinata: "Got you!"

Another Hinata clone leaped forward, kicking Kakashi into a net trap. The nets tightened around him.

Sasuke (disguised as Hinata): "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

A massive fireball engulfed Kakashi.

The Aftermath

The trio watched nervously as the flames died down. Had they gone too far?

But then, applause echoed from above.

Hinata: "Naruto?"

Naruto: "That's not me."

The applause came from Kakashi, who had been disguised as Naruto the entire time.

Kakashi: "You three are qualified."

Naruto: "Wait… so we don't have to fight anymore?"

Kakashi: "No need."

Naruto: "Oh… and here I was saving the biggest trap, 'Z-Shaped Hell,' for last."

Kakashi's eye twitched. This kid…

Suddenly, Kakashi appeared behind Naruto and lifted him off the ground.

Kakashi: "But since I only prepared two bento boxes, someone has to be tied to the post and watch us eat. That someone is you."

Naruto: "You're holding a grudge, aren't you?!"

Ding! Ding!

Sasuke, quick as lightning, snatched the two bells and tossed one to Hinata. He smirked at Naruto, who was now stuck watching them eat.
