Chapter 1898: Too late, buddy.
"What in the hell is wrong with this place!?"
"I cannot use my Law properly!"
"What did you do!?"
The Black Order Leaders stared at Nux and screamed in disbelief.
'Yes! Exactly! That's the normal reaction!'
Faelara, on the other hand, felt like her faith in the Universe was being restored.
She wasn't disappointed by the Leaders' reaction.
No, not at all. Their Laws were all related to either Space or Time, so it was obvious they would have a difficult time fighting here since she had momentarily forgotten that she had bent the Space Laws here.
This was how a normal being was supposed to act.
Frustrated, shocked, scared even.
You shouldn't be trying to force your way through it, thinking you can comprehend the new Laws, and actually do it!
That still makes no sense!
Faelara then waved her hand, and the Space Laws returned to normal. There was no point in bending them anyway; that monster would comprehend it again, and it would be a wasted effort.
At the very least, right now, her 'allies' could use their powers and be of some help.
"His ability doesn't last long. You should be able to use it now."
Faelara informed, shifting the blame onto Nux.
"What a vile ability!"
"The information didn't say anything regarding him being able to manipulate Space."
"The information about him was always limited. We need to be careful."
The Leaders discussed with solemn looks on their faces, easily buying Faelara's lies.
"…"
Once again, Faelara stared at the Leaders and didn't seem disappointed. Rather, she nodded in satisfaction.
Her thoughts were reaffirmed yet again.
This is how one is supposed to act when they have absolutely no clue regarding the situation. You are supposed to trust the person you know, not doubt everything.
She wasn't the weird one here, nor were the Leaders.
It was this monster in front of her.
Faelara stared at Nux, who hadn't done anything all this while. It seemed like he was curious as to what these 'Leaders' were capable of.
"Reinforcements? Really?"
He questioned as he noticed Faelara staring at him.
"…"
Faelara didn't say anything.
She wasn't ashamed.
After all, it was her personal dimension. No one could come here without her permission.
…other than some monsters.
Of course, such monsters were rare. No one else could come here, so if she summoned help here, it would be easier to overpower her opponents.
She was only using her Law to her advantage, like every warrior does.
"I need time to heal.
Buy some time for me."
Faelara spoke in a grim tone, completely ignoring Nux.
Her arm was still bleeding. She wasn't like Vampires who could regenerate; she needed to rely on High-Level Potions and Healing.
She needed time.
"Be at ease."
Aerion nodded with a solemn look on his face.
Then, he stared at Nux and waved his hand.
Nux's expression changed as he realized that something around him had changed.
However, Lysander wasn't going to give him time to think as he rushed forward at an enhanced speed, wanting to close the distance between them…
But…
"What the hell is wrong with this place!?"
He screamed again.
No matter how much he ran, he couldn't close the distance.
"The Space here is constantly stretching!
Faelara! Have you lost your mind!? Why are you fighting him in a domain he has such great control over!?"
"…"
Faelara was silent again.
She secretly stopped the space from constantly expanding, allowing these three to run as much as they wanted, and—
"I had no other choice…
Don't worry, this one doesn't last long either. You can now face him like you normally would."
She replied.
'Get his attention. I will look for a chance and end this.'
She spoke, her voice directly entering their heads.
The Leaders nodded.
This time, however, even they were a little skeptical of Faelara, but before they could think too much—
"You are a fun lot. You talk in the middle of the battle, allowing your opponent to restore his energy reserves. I guess it is your warrior pride, huh? Not to fight a weakened enemy? Quite noble."
Nux chuckled, even drinking a Mana Potion to add weight to his words.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, the Leaders looked at each other and nodded.
Once again, Lysander rushed forward, closing the distance between him and Nux. As he appeared next to him, a sword appeared in his hand, and he swung it, wanting to behead this man.
Alzar didn't stay back either. He formed Spatial Cracks around Nux, and suddenly, Nux felt his body turning heavy.
Much, much heavier.
"DIE!"
Lysander shouted, prepared to behead Nux, but…
He simply stepped back and dodged the incoming attack.
"Huh…?"
Lysander widened his eyes in disbelief.
'A Sovereign… reacted to my speed…?
A Sovereign…?'
He couldn't believe it.
He was amongst the fastest, even when compared to other Primordials. How did… a Sovereign dodge his attack?
'No!
This isn't possible!'
Lysander was in disbelief. He tightened his grip around his sword and swung again.
This time, however—
Tap
Nux simply grabbed the blade of his sword with his thumb and index finger and—
"So one can stop me from teleporting,
One can manipulate the space around me to make it heavier and slow my movements,
And the last one can alter time around himself to increase his speed."
He realized what their Laws were and—
"That's it?"
He tilted his head with a bored look on his face.
"I guess not all the foxes are interesting, eh?
I wondered if your Laws were worth getting, but meh, looks boring."
Nux shrugged as suddenly, he pulled Lysander's sword towards him and—
BOOOOOOOM
He punched.
Obliterating the poor fox out of existence.
"Yep, this is how it is supposed to go."
He nodded with a satisfied look on his face.
"They are indeed your average side characters."
He then glanced at the other two, who had widened their eyes in disbelief.
Alzar was even prepared to run away, but—
"Too late, buddy."

Nux teleported next to him and—
BOOOOOM
And while he was at it—
BOOOOOM
He got Aerion as well.
Just like that, the three reinforcements Faelara summoned were gone, but…
Faelara was nowhere to be seen.
