Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 1910: Are you blaming me?

"Are you willing to swear your absolute loyalty to the Ruler?"

"I am."

Zala nodded with a determined look on his face, and at his words, the woman smiled.

"Very well."

She spoke, and suddenly, a new portal, much different from many others, formed behind her.

"You will now be taken to the Ruler to rebuild your existence. You may think of it as a second chance to become something… more."

"Rebuild… my existence?"

Zala muttered, completely clueless as to what those words meant.

How could one rebuild one's existence?
Your journey continues with My Virtual Library Empire

At his question, the woman stared at him, a slight frown appearing on her normally perfect face.

"Are you familiar with the term Law?"

She questioned, as if she was dealing with a toddler, trying to use vocabulary he would understand.

"I-I am."

"As a Middle Stage Mortal Veil Entity, or the Primordial Phase your people call it, you must have gathered enough experience in your life to understand yourself.

With all the experience you have gathered, the Ruler will allow you to form a new Law, something far stronger than what you had before.

That will be your foundation to rewrite your existence."

"I-I can reform my Law…?"

Zala widened his eyes in disbelief.

He didn't know much, but what he did know was that one couldn't reform his Law no matter how much he desired.

If one was stuck with a weak Law, he was destined for mediocrity for the rest of his life.

To be able to change that and allow someone to reform his Law…

It was unheard of.

He highly doubted even the Supreme Worlds had the resources to pull it off!

'No wonder she called them lesser entities…'

Zala finally realized what sort of beings he was dealing with.

"Yes, you can."

The woman nodded at his question. Then, as if the conversation here was done, his body started moving towards the newly formed portal.

"Wait! I have some more que—"

Zala tried to call out, but he quickly lost his voice. No matter how much he tried, no words came out of his mouth, and he was dragged into the portal while the woman continued to judge other souls.

On the other side of the portal, Zala finally saw him again.

That Sovereign who had destroyed his entire world with a mere release of his Aura.

'The Ruler…'

He thought inwardly, his face turning solemn.

Then suddenly, the Ruler turned towards him and…

He smiled.

"You are here."

He spoke, and in an instant, Zala's body teleported next to him.

"So you chose to swear your loyalty. I didn't think you would agree, considering how we met."

"…Why did you do it?"

Zala, who got his voice back, questioned.

"What do you mean?"

The Ruler tilted his head with a smile.

"Why did you destroy my world? If you wanted me, you could have easily taken me without having to involve my people in it."

He didn't know where he got this courage from, but the instant the Ruler smiled at him, a sense of extreme comfort and warmth washed over him. It was as if he was standing in front of the universe's most gentle and gracious being and could speak his mind here without having to worry about consequences.

"Are you blaming me?"

The Ruler questioned.

There was no change in his tone, even the smile on his face didn't fade away. Everything seemed the same; he looked like the same gentle and gracious being as before.

But this time, Zala froze.

"I-I…"

A primordial sense of fear took over him, a fear he had never felt before. His body trembled without stop, and he couldn't utter any words.

It was a big change, almost as if his emotions were being affected by some foreign force as he stood in front of this being.

"Your world would have perished within three days."

The Ruler answered.

"You were about to lose the war because the enemy had been gathering reinforcements in secret. Most of you would have perished, while the remaining ones would have faced a fate worse than death. I simply preponed your fate and made it painless.

The reason I chose you is also your desperate attempt to fight back even when you knew the odds were stacked against you.

I liked that tenacity."

"But I didn't…"

Zala tried to question back, once again feeling a strange sense of calm.

"You would have done it in the future."

The Ruler answered.

Yes, it was all bullshit.

But who cared?

Zala would never find out. There was no way to find out.

"You are saying that you chose me because of what I was going to do in the future…?"

"That is one way to put it."

Nux nodded.

"You… can see the future?"

Nux simply stared at him without any change in his expression. It was as if he was saying, 'Isn't that obvious?'

Zala understood that look as well.

"You are like the Seer."

'The Seer, eh?'

Nux muttered inwardly.

He didn't miss the familiar words.

The Seer was one of the most respected beings in the world. Almost everyone knew about her, but other than the Leaders of Supreme Worlds, no one had seen her—not even the Umbrasol Progenitors.

The Umbrasol Progenitors were extremely interested in the Seer. No, it wasn't just them; everyone was.

The Seer is said to be omniscient.

She knows everything.

Everything.

None of her predictions had ever been wrong before. She knew even the deepest, darkest secrets one was hiding.

It is also said that if the Seer used what she knew to her advantage, she would gather a force even stronger than the Supreme Worlds', and the very fact that she was alive and still relevant even when such rumors were spread was enough to tell what sort of existence she was.

Even the Supreme Worlds couldn't harm her.

Or maybe… she was from one of the Supreme Worlds.

Nux, or the Umbrasol Progenitors, didn't know.

That woman was a mystery.

A mystery no one had managed to solve.

For now, however, Nux couldn't drop his act, so he smiled.

"Seer, huh?

Yes, you can compare me to that child in some regard."
