Supreme Lord: I can extract everything!

Chapter 1114: Rise of a New Era VI

Caesus didn’t use the Summoning Gate right away. In fact, he wouldn’t have to use the Summoning Gate for a while now. There were more than 100,000 Silverfang Summons under him, and only a few would fit into the wooden manor.

"Please start with the construction of the tents and the distribution of mattresses," Caesus ordered the Silverfang Summons. He then added, "And prepare several large pots. I will return with some fish for dinner."

They were forced to eat small rations of food after traveling for several weeks straight. Of course, they’d hunted a bunch of monsters for their meat, and Caesus had some leftover food in his War Rune storage, but the leftovers wouldn’t last long, whereas the meat had been eaten entirely.

There were simply too many people to feed for several weeks, especially with Caesus being the only one owning a War Rune Storage. He was the only Awakened who’d stayed behind in the Origin Expanse to take care of the Summons and establish the Silverfang territory for the remaining Awakened. Still, it would take a while before the Awakened would reach out for the Origin Expanse. They were busy enough with the workload on Tiagro.

Caesus’ children were still busy roaming around, exploring the surrounding lands, but they’d also informed Caesus about a bunch of big fish roaming around the ocean. That was why Caesus ended up retrieving dozens of massive bots, energy-ignitable campfires, and so forth.

The Summons looked at him for a while but nodded and jumped into action. Even if they wondered what exactly Caesus was doing at times, they had learned a lot about him in the last few weeks and the decades before that. Caesus might not be a god, but he was the strongest Silverfang they’d ever seen. That was enough reason to trust in his reasoning.

Caesus left the safety of the Protection Barrier and circulated some energy through his legs to run around the ocean gulf. He slowed before the massive ocean, which was known as the Azure Ocean, and smiled faintly at the sight unfolding before him. The Azure Ocean was as long and wide as the ocean. Caesus couldn’t pinpoint where it ended in any direction. That was shocking, but it was also exciting. The ocean protected them from the attacks of other Lords in that direction, though it left them wide open for attacks from the ocean world.

But that wasn’t what Caesus was worried about. The Azure Ocean was their treasure trove. It would be why the Silverfang Tigerfolk would shoot to the peak of all races in the future. It might take thousands of years, but Caesus was not in a rush. He was more than willing to take one step after another at a decent pace. They weren’t in a rush like Michael had been in the past.

’I am enjoying this.’ Caesus thought and circulated energy through his feet. He created thin energy barriers underfoot and walked on the ocean’s surface.

The monster he was targeting was a Titan Whale, a creature with a length of more than two hundred meters.

He could have rushed forward to attack the Titan Whale, but there was no need to go that far. Furthermore, Caesus wanted to enjoy himself a little.

The Giant Sharks thought similarly. The avian children had already informed Caesus that there would be enemies in the ocean, but he only got a good picture of the enemies’ numbers and sizes now that they attacked him.

They didn’t want someone else to take their prey – the Titan Whale – and attacked him. One of the Giant Sharks burst out of the water from underneath. Its maw was wide enough to wallow six or seven humanoid creatures of Caesus’ size, but the Giant Shark couldn’t even shut its maw and swallow Caesus whole when its body split apart.

A fountain of blood spurted through the air before the cleaved-through body crashed heavily onto the ocean’s surface. The ocean around him was dyed red, attracting the surrounding Giant Shards. Some more burst out of the water, but they didn’t target Caesus. They wanted to feast on their fallen brethren.

Caesus, however, wasn’t willing to surrender the Giant Shark corpse to them. His hand, transformed into the Silver Tiger’s claws, swept through the air, creating massive arcs of energy that cut through the air. The corpse was cut into several pieces, and the Giant Sharks, trying to feast on their fallen brethren, received the same fate.

The energy arcs cut tens of meters through the ocean before they dispersed at Caesus’ command. He then released his energy to store the Giant Shark corpses while more of their brethren – a bunch of bigger guys – burst through the water to attack him from the side. One of them even released a burst of electricity, which would have been enough to paralyze a High Awakened, but Caesus merely smiled. His claw swept through the air again, killing six out of seven massive Giant Sharks.

Only the mutated Giant Shark was left behind.

"You can either become my child and serve me until death or die. You are not yet a Divine Beast, but I can help you breakthrough," Caesus said calmly while collecting the remaining corpses of the Giant Shark.

The mutated Giant Shark didn’t move and looked at Caesus, but all he could sense was bloodlust.

"You can’t understand me? That’s a shame. I expected a creature on the verge of becoming a Divine Beast would be smarter than this," Caesus snickered and was about to deal the finishing blow to kill the mutant when a massive tail emerged from the water. The tail was dozens of meters wide and even longer. It covered the sun, shrouding the mutant Giant Shark in shadows before crashing down like a hammer. The massive tail crushed the Giant Shark, killing it on the spot.

At the same time, it missed Caesus by a hair’s breadth.

Large waves swept in all directions after the tail hit the water, but Caesus protected himself with a layer of origin energy.

Still, the waves engulfed Caesus for a second, covering his sight.

Caesus considered escaping the water to find out what was happening, but he stopped. Something urged him to stay here.

It took Caesus only a few seconds to realize what it was. The water walls disappeared, revealing a ginormous eye, an eye filled with intelligence and great wisdom. The Titan Whale’s head had emerged from the water, and it looked straight at him.

"You killed the shark," Caesus commented on the obvious. The Titan Whale could have remained silent, but it released a fountain of water and a wave of emotions. Caesus sensed joy and gratitude.

"You can understand me. That…shouldn’t have been a surprise, I guess. You must be a Mythical Creature if you can defeat a Tier-6 Mutant Giant Shark with a tailsweep just like that. You are far from becoming a Divine Beast, but you show potential."

Caesus forgot about hunting the Titan Whale for food. They had more than a dozen Giant Sharks to feast on for a day or two.

Still, he hasn’t left the ocean just yet.

’What if I pay even more attention to the ocean? There aren’t many Lords in the ocean, and only a few dared to explore it. Every new discovery will elevate the Silverfang Tigerfolk’s status drastically.’ Caesus swallowed hard, but a smile formed on his lips.

"Do you want to work for me?"
