Chapter 8: world,its my glamour
**The Battle Ends**
The audience roared, a cacophony of sound echoing the tumultuous events that had just transpired. Remembering the previously established agreement, the challengers were to depart, carrying the name of the legend. Yet, Glenn, despite his victory in the third round, stepped back. He was no legend, he declared.
The crowd erupted in discontent. Suddenly, the Library Keeper appeared, his face a mask of fury. He had been captured, forced to fight, but Glenn was different. This decision had been carefully considered. Glenn's agreement would be beneficial, he asserted, confident that Glenn would become the most powerful Library Keeper.
With those words, they vanished, leaving behind a book inscribed with the words, "I'm the king, you're a p ness."
The organizers seethed at Glenn's and the Library Keeper's jest, but their trail was lost, as if they had simply ceased to exist. In response, the organizers announced a bounty for Glenn's capture, by any means necessary. However, they struggled to obtain a clear image of him. Upon closer inspection, every photograph taken during the match was blurred, obscured by a clear, focused object. Only two images yielded any clarity: one showing half of Glenn's face, obscured by an axe, and the other, taken as they vanished, showing half of Glenn's face transforming into a book. The remaining photos were filled with a bright, divine light.
They plastered wanted posters using the second image, despite its peculiarity. The poster read:
"Dead or Alive: Glenn and the Library Keeper"
The text was crammed, resulting in an almost illegible font. Ironically, the poster's release only increased Glenn's popularity. Unaware of the minuscule text, the public's attention was drawn to the image.
Meanwhile, Glenn and the Library Keeper entered the Magic Library, a place accessible only to those blessed by the Library Keeper.
"**𝙹 ᒲᔑꖌᒷ !¡⚍∷ᒷ ╎ᓵᒷ, ||𝙹⚍ ⎓∷ᒷᒷ⨅ᒷ ∴ᔑℸ**" (Glenn, remember, this library's authenticity must be preserved. Therefore, you must use this language, the ancient language of magic.)
"Alright..."
"**ꖎᒷℸ ̣ ╎ℸ ̣ ʖ⚍∷リ!..**"
"Glenn, remember this!"
"**ᒷᒷリ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ⍑╎⊣⍑ ∷𝙹ᔑ↸**"
"Alright, alright, I understand."
They discussed the future in detail. Glenn was initially confused, but his Librarian skills allowed him to comprehend. The Library Keeper entrusted Glenn with this secret, and Glenn was forbidden from speaking this language outside the library. Glenn agreed.
"**𝙹𝙹ᓭᒷ ʖᒷℸ ̣ ∴ᒷᒷリ ℸ**..."
"By the way, Library Keeper, do you actually have a name?"
"**𝙹𝙹ᓭ ∴ ℸ**..."
"**ᓭꖌ|| 𝙹⎓ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ꖌ╎リ↸ 𝙹⎓ ∴⍑𝙹 ⊣∷ᒷᔑℸ ̣ ꖎ╎ʖ∷ᔑ∷|| 𝙹⎓ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ∴╎ꖎ↸**"
"The sky of whos great library of the weld"..
"Weld..."
"**ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ꖌ╎リ↸ 𝙹⎓ 𝙹⎓ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ∴╎ꖎ↸**..."
"How about just Weld?"
"**∷ᒷ ╎ᓵᒷ, ||𝙹⚍**..."
"I suppose that's acceptable."
After a long conversation, they decided on Weld as the Library Keeper's name.
"Secondary character acquired."
Weld (Library Keeper) officially became Glenn's secondary character.
Explanation:
A secondary character is an additional advantage of Jobmania, providing emergency assistance. Secondary characters have no time limit. Given the extraordinary power of Jobmania, there may be others who have yet to be revealed.
"New system function unlocked: Secondary characters."
"New job function unlocked: Library."
"Quest completed. Gift: a lot of experience medals."
"New system function unlocked: Swap job. Allows for rapid job changes while retaining the main job's strength."
"New job function unlocked: Job fusion."
Available jobs:
* Jobmania
* Jobless
* Warrior (main)
* Librarian
Upon inspection, Glenn was shocked to find his rare job had vanished.
"No use dwelling on that now. How do I use this job fusion?"
"Wait, let me check my rewards."
"A lot of experience medals."
"Why is the description like this?"
"Wait, this is still the library, right?"
"Phew, but where am I now?"
"Library Keeper, where am I?"
"...Damn, why isn't he answering?"
"Alright."
"Execute spatial index."
"I can see everything clearly, but it's useless if I don't know how to map it..."
While searching for a way out, Glenn noticed numerous strange posters. He was amazed by their artistry, unaware that he was the subject of them all.
