Elias frowned, but he didn't have problems with the new mission. All he did was bring numerous cards and began to throw them around before he went out and stood and waited.
It wasn't explosive but fire ignited by Wure Liquid and Sand Fury. He found a small column, held his Di-nozzle Striker and watched around.
The fire burns, and smoke seeps out, but there is nothing that is attracted to him. Gradually, maybe it was due to Burnai suppressing ways, the fire reduced in intensity and died down.
Elias was more surprised that nothing had come around the place but not that he complained, he walked inside. With one glance, he saw the place was cooked, but the deeper one went, the more one could see the charcoal substance.
Suddenly, he moved and his Striker as he saw in the deepest part and charcoal cracked and something scurried inside. Elias did not pursue it and checked his chest.
[Burnai Like: 123,690]
Before he came here, he had 40 Burnai, Like Less than now. That means the fire he set has indeed caused damage to some remnants of a monster that failed an evolution.
Without hesitation, he released two bullets, and bang, bang. There was a squeal but Elias knew whatever it was was still alive.
He then decided to be more thorough without endangering his safety. He flexed his hand and placed back the Striker to his strapped thigh and then caressed [Intersection Ring] with the intention of getting Shell Shifter.
The ring vibrated and the Projectile jumped before him. Elias noted that there was some delay, but he dismissed that as he checked if the gun was the same, and he found no doubt about it.
He raised the newly arrived gun and shot two bullets with the intention of a silent fire attack. It was Shift 1: Fire Bird and it caused a small explosion of fire, but it wasn't by much as the fire raged deeper inside the building.
Elias can hear some noises before everything stops.
[Congratulations]
[You have a clear Evolution Pod]
[Would you like to clear it out]
The moment he agreed upon that, his Red Honour Coin appeared and fell to the ground. The building shook as if resisting, but the walls became alive, and the way Elias came through shifted and closed. Trapping him inside.
[Sacrifice 500 Theuma Crystal to reactivate and merge it with your Section]
Elias sighed; he knew this would happen, so he pulled out a bag and threw it toward the ground.
The moment they dropped down, causing a clanking sound, they vanished, and as if a long engine took a breather, the place hummed, and some charred facilities began to work.
Elias walked in. There were about four rooms in a long corridor. The end of the corridor leads to a large room with no actual door. There seemed to be a lot of installments there, but they were all destroyed.
"What is this place!"
[Evolution Pod Room has been used by slightly intelligent monsters until they destroyed every active Pod within!]
"Can it be repaired?" Elias asked the pressing question.
[No enough energy]
He wasn't worried as the mission said he would get Evolution Crystals, which meant that even if the pods couldn't be used, he would get something out of this.
But he searched everywhere. Even as the place became clean and spotless, he didn't see any place where the crystals were.
"Where are the crystals.?"
[That will be only part that can be repaired now in about two days]
"Well. That!?" Elias had wanted to evolve his slimes before he went with them deeper inside Burnai. He sighed and came out but left the slimes inside including Gallium and Ghost.
That was a stupid decision but he wanted them to take the Crystals after it appeared before he came to get them.
Guide to Evolution Pod pad was placed in a spot where it reconnected with the room, and as Elias came out, it vanished. He knew it was added to his section.
He pulled out Guide to Burnai Treasure and Theuma Crystals Deposits with a frown. If the state of the Evolution Pod was like this then what about the others?
He didn't know about Treasures but definitely, there was a monster using Theuma Crystals, except they have properties that prevent that.
That wasn't even all, as there were other humans around here. Then definitely someone has tried to scour the whole Section Six in search of the crystals.
Elias suppressed his anxiety about those prospects and moved carefully after confirming that the two places were in the same direction.
Suddenly, he stopped and raised the Shell Shifter in a certain direction. It was dark but he could see with ease. Maybe because of the place or something else.
But just now, he had seen something move from his peripheral vision. 'Hmm. Should I bring Gallium?' Elias thought before he shook his head.
This was just preliminary exploration, nothing much. Elias then facepalmed and checked the Scanning and Detection Devices with him; he had forgotten about them all.
There was nothing around him within 100 meters. However, the fact that something adept at hiding can hide means that they aren't very reliable.
He then continued to walk ahead; he left the city, entered a long door and reached another facility. The place is unrecognizable because it is filled with gravel and a large beam of steel. It's like walls have fallen.
Elias felt a gaze and looked around but nothing. He went ahead; the scanner kept telling him about the steel and he also tried to reconstruct the place as it was before.
That allowed him to reach another door that went elsewhere until he reached a place flooded with water. He now has to swim to go ahead. He rechecked the Guides and sighed; that was exactly where they were showing.
He retraced his steps trying to find another path but failed and then entertained the idea of swimming his way but he shook his head
Fog sea has left a scar on his psyche; no way can he compose himself to swim in that water. So, he just came and decided to search around for Level Forge in Section Six.
He travelled and even crawled under a beam and moved some boulders until he reached a large corridor that was filled with extremely large and heavy beams and boulders. The path was close.
Elias flashed his scanner and confirmed that was the way in. He suddenly turned and pointed his Shell Shifter. He just senses a fast movement. Not only that, the shadows deepened, and he looked around. He pulled out a light card and threw it. The stone inside breaks and becomes particles of light around.
Elias felt something passed behind, and he turned again, now facing the well-covered corridor.
Elias' Sulke boot armour firmed his feet on the floor making him unable to slip even though the places were uneven and covered with dust and small broken boulders.
If it was like before he would have had a hard time. But it felt like he was firm on flat ground. His movements were smooth too, performing with instinct with less merging of errors.
'Whatever it is that wants to scare me!' Elias surmised. 'Let's make a disturbance!' He pointed to the Shell Shifter and released Shift 2: Force Ram.
Bang!
Shatter!
The force didn't just slam at the closed corridor but first passed through crevices for a moment and then exploded. Elias has run away from there. He doesn't want to be caught up.
The loud bang made the silent place quiver and also the shrill sound of some hidden creatures was heard. He waited in hiding but nothing came that way.
He observed more before he threw a light card everywhere and lit the place; nothing was around. He then cautiously finds an opening amidst the destroyed and bent beam to enter.
"Why are there no monsters attacking me?" Elias asked Burnai.
[Weaker creatures are avoiding you on purpose!]
"Why?"
[Why will a hyena confront a roaring Tiger]
Elias stopped on his track and frowned and asked again, "Does the Title you have me influence this!?"
[In a way, yes. But that is not the reason now. You know the reason. You belong to someone]
Elias' heart skipped a beat hearing that. His assumption has been confirmed. The wound on his back was a massive radar and a marker of ownership.
"I need to find Lolwah Sani!" Elias said.
"You won't find her here?"
Elias was startled as he turned around. He found ten people, all in a cloak, staring at him. One of them was standing at the front staring at him with the dangerous gaze of a predator.
Elias felt the feeling of suppression and as if hundreds of worms were crawling on his body, but this time, their body had scales. One thing came to mind, this Leader has a relationship with snakes.
