Chapter 4: Screaming his name
It felt unfamiliar of being desired by someone other than Cloud, unsettled her. And yet, strangely enough… she didn't find the idea repulsive. Instead, a part of her felt drawn to it.
She descended the grand staircase slowly, passing through a long glass corridor. Strangely, there were no mirrors in this house. Even the glass didn't reflect her image. She hadn't been able to apply any makeup.
Why was she even anticipating this night?
It wouldn't be like the nights she had spent with her husband.
"Calm down, Diana. Don't think like that," she murmured to herself.
She froze when she heard a deep voice speaking to the frightening man—the one who had claimed her.
"Alpha Sesbian, the council insists on seeing you," the man before him said, bowing far too deeply, his fear evident in every movement.
But Sesbian didn't spare him a glance. What caught his attention was Diana's presence.
Her scent.
It awakened every sense in him.
He could deal with the council later.
But the woman before him?
She was becoming impossible to resist—especially now that she had come to him willingly.
Lifting a hand dismissively toward the messenger, he spoke, his voice as cold as ice: "I have no time for them."
His words sent a shudder through the trembling man, who quickly turned to leave. He had no desire to end up in the torture chambers again—he had barely survived the last time.
Diana narrowed her eyes. "Your name is Sesbian? You're an Alpha?"
Her tone was laced with shock and realization, as if she had just grasped the full extent of her situation. The fear in her expression was unmistakable.
Slowly, she took a step back.
"Are you reconsidering now that you know the truth?" he mused. "That you willingly accepted to become the woman of your father's sworn enemy? That you agreed to be mine?"
He leaned back in his chair, watching her intently.
His gaze burned into her, commanding her—without a single word—to step forward and sit in his lap.
Without protest.
"Diana, this is not the time for panic or fear. He is the undefeatable Alpha, the leader of the Crimson Scent Pack. His influence over the surrounding packs is absolute."
She took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. She had always stayed away from the affairs of her father's pack, but she knew one thing for certain—Sesbian's name was like a curse. Everyone feared him, respected him, and now… she was in his hands.
"Cloud and that wretched witch, Camellia, must pay. Everyone who abandoned me must pay. I won't stand by and watch them destroy my life and walk away unscathed," she murmured. That burning pain still lingered inside her. She had loved Cloud with all her heart, adored him—but what did he give her in return? Nothing but betrayal.
"Diana."
His voice pulled her out of the storm of her thoughts. Now or never. It was in her hands—she could either sink or rise above it all.
She stared at him as he stood before her, exuding dominance and arrogance. Damn it, how had she forgotten this? He was narcissistic, dangerous… and yet, undeniably alluring. With his fingers, he brushed aside a strand of her hair, revealing her pale neck.'Hmm, her mark is gone'
A wicked, sharp smile stretched across his face as her hands instinctively ran across his chest.
Locking eyes with him, her honey-colored gaze no longer held fear. "You can have this body, but in return, I want your power. I want revenge," she declared, her voice steady, carrying all the courage she could muster.
"You're asking for something that already belongs to you, hmm," he mused before pulling her close by the waist.
The red silk dress she wore barely covered her thighs, barely concealed her curves. Resisting her, without touching her, would be impossible.
A smile of satisfaction played on Diana's lips. This man knew how to use words well. But that gleam in his eyes—he wasn't just after her body. No, he had plans of his own. But all would be dealt with in time. Once her revenge was complete, she would leave… with her child.
"You won't be able to get rid of me, Diana," he murmured, his possessive tone sending her heart into a frenzied rhythm. Sometimes, it felt like he could read her very thoughts. But he was Sesbian, the extraordinary Alpha—nothing was beyond his reach.
His hand found its way between her thighs, shattering whatever sense of calm remained within her. Her soft moan reached his ears.
"Ah… the night hasn't even begun yet," she whispered, trying to still his hand as his fingers explored her warmth. She buried her face in his chest, her breath hitching.
"Ah… don't you keep a word?"
He didn't respond—not because he hadn't heard her, but because he was completely immersed in this moment, in the very thing he had long dreamed of. Slowly, he withdrew his finger.
"I've changed my mind," he murmured.
She gasped as he suddenly lifted her, carrying her across the room. She had always wondered if he had only one bedroom or lots. That question faded the moment she felt the softness of the bed sheets beneath her as he tossed her onto it.
"The privileges I grant you will depend on how well you serve me here, Diana," he said, pressing a kiss to the arch of her foot.
She tried to close her legs, but it was futile. His other hand held them open for his eyes to take in the view. She swallowed hard, her breath catching in her throat.
He gave her no time to process—his lips were already tracing a slow, deliberate path from her hips to her waist.
"Don't keep yourself from screaming my name, " he said as he took her hand to make her unbutton his shirt, she felt her heart racing without stopping as he stared at her body that was now naked in front of him.
