The 100: Rump In The Ground

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

The Ark: Earth Monitoring Station

"Hey, darling, how's my baby boy Alaric and Clarke?" Kelly asked with a smile as she appeared beside Abby.

"Their vital signs are strong, but blood sugar is low. They haven't eaten yet," Abby rolled her eyes at her 'baby boy' part and then smiled, pointing to the big screen. "And that beeping and fluctuating number you see there? That means your baby boy is having fun with my daughter."

"Well, you know him." Kelly smiled sweetly. "He's a charming prince."

Abby rolled her eyes, smiling. Then a telephone rang, and Abby answered, "This is Dr. Griffin."

"On my way," Abby said after a moment, hanging up the call and moving with urgency. "Jackson, put it out there that we need blood—A negative and a lot of it—and then get your ass to the O.R."

"Abby, what's wrong?" Kelly called out as she was leaving.

"The Chancellor has been shot," Abby said before leaving.

Kelly stood there worriedly for a moment before turning around and smiling as she saw Alaric's face on the screen. She was anxious to see him again on Earth.

The Ground

"Now, that, my friend, is game," Jasper said, pointing ahead with a spear. Alaric was walking with Clarke and Octavia in his arms, the girls seemingly competing to show who was more slutty with him.

"That, my friend, is a lucky guy, and not everyone can be like him," Monty shrugged, not jealous. "Instead, look at this—it's better than that. This is poison sumac."

"What is it?" Finn asked, looking at the purple flower in Monty's hand. He had given up trying to look for Clarke, seeing that she was as lovestruck as Raven was with Alaric.

"It's a flower that's medicinal, calming actually," Monty answered, eating it.

"His family grows all the pharmaceuticals on The Ark," Jasper added.

"Hey, guys, would you try to keep up?" Clarke asked raggedly as Alaric pawed her ass while they walked. Octavia was putty in his hands, barely walking with soft legs.

"Come on, Clarke. How do you block all this out?" Finn asked ahead.

"Well, it's simple. I have more interesting things to pay attention to," Clarke said, blushing.

"We can all see that you and Octavia are paying attention to something else than your surroundings," Finn rolled his eyes.

"Well, that and other things too! Haven't you wondered, 'Why haven't we seen any animals?' Maybe it's because there are none. Maybe we've already been exposed to enough radiation to kill us. It sure is pretty, though. Come on."

"Hey Monty, give me some of that poison sumac for my new sister," Octavia laughed, joking with Clarke.

Clarke gave her a look but didn't say anything.

"Don't be bad with her, Octavia," Alaric chuckled and spanked her ass to make her pipe down.

"Ah~~!" Octavia yelped, lurching forward with a cute sound, looking at him with cloudy eyes, loving it more than being angry.

"Clarke, if the radiation was so bad, by now we should already be feeling something—nausea, vomiting, fatigue, or something like that." Alaric said as he grabbed Octavia again into his embrace.

"You see, princess? Calm down," Octavia chimed in, smiling as she leaned closer to Alaric, almost wishing to become one with him.

Jasper snorted, seeing the scene in front of him.

"Fine! Fine," Clarke sighed, giving up.

"Alright, I gotta know what you two did to get busted," Finn asked Jasper and Monty as they continued walking.

"Sumac isn't the only herb in the garden, if you know what I mean," Monty smiled.

"Someone forgot to replace what we took," Jasper added sarcastically.

"Someone has apologized, like, a thousand times," Monty rolled his eyes.

"How about you, Octavia? What'd they get you for?" Jasper asked Octavia, who was in Alaric's arms.

"Being born," Octavia said nonchalantly, her face changing.

"That is so not game," Monty said to Jasper.

"Hey, look at me," Alaric said, grabbing Octavia's chin to make her look into his eyes. "I'm thankful you're here. Never think otherwise."

Alaric moved closer to her ear and whispered something that the others couldn't hear, but Clarke had an idea of what he must be saying.

"Really?" Octavia looked at him wide-eyed, disbelieving.

"Yeah," Alaric smiled.

"I can't believe it~~," Octavia said, grabbing his neck and kissing his lips.

"That's game, whatever he did there," Monty said to Jasper.

"Ugh," Jasper sighed, touching his face.

Finn made a loud tsk sound, also wondering how Alaric had so much luck with the girls.

"Guys, look ahead," Clarke said, tugging at Alaric's clothes.

"What?" Alaric asked, separating from the kiss with Octavia. He kissed her lips again before looking ahead. "Oh."

"No animals, huh?" Finn said, observing the deer.

Octavia was lovestruck, leaning against Alaric, unfocused and not paying much attention to the deer.

"Jasper, Monty—prepare the spear and throw it at the deer, just like the cavemen did back in their time," Alaric urged.

"Don't you want to do it?" Monty asked.

"No, come on. Do it! Try to kill it," Alaric urged again.

"Alright," Jasper excitedly readied his arms along with Monty to throw the spear.

"Wait, let me check out if I can get closer to it," Finn said, starting to move without waiting.

Suddenly, he snapped a few branches, and the deer became alert, turning its head to look at them.

"Uh!" they all exclaimed in disgust as they saw that the deer was actually a double-headed deer.

"Oh shit," Alaric said after a moment, as the deer ran away.

"What was that thing?" Jasper asked, gasping.

"That's a mutation caused by radiation," Clarke said simply.

"Can we eat that thing?" Finn asked with a smile.

"Maybe. As a last resort, we can eat that thing once or twice. The possible radiation in the meat wouldn't kill you," Alaric smiled. "The risks from mild radiation exposure are minimal compared to the immediate benefits of eating if it's to survive."

"Besides, that mutant deer is alive and appears healthy, having grown to that size with only an apparent physical mutation—its head—without signs of sickness. It's likely that the animal's body has adapted to its environment," Alaric further explained. "Anyway, I wouldn't eat that thing unless it was as a last resort."

A while later, after they resumed their march through the forest

"Hey, you know what I'd like to know? Why send us down today after ninety-seven years? What changed?" Finn asked as they walked.

"Who cares? I'm just glad they did. I woke up rotting in a cell, and now I'm spinning in a forest," Octavia said, not caring at all.

"Maybe they found something on a satellite, you know, like an old weather satellite or..." Monty speculated.

"It wasn't a satellite. The Ark is dying," Clarke quickly turned down his speculation. "At the current population level, there's roughly three months left of life support, maybe four now that we're gone."

"So that was the secret they locked you up. To keep it secret. Why they kept you in solitary, and also floated your old man?" Finn asked quietly from the back.

"My father was the engineer who discovered the flaw," Clarke sighed and explained as she walked closer to Alaric. "He thought the people had a right to know, but the Council disagreed."

"My mother disagreed. They were afraid it would cause a panic," Clarke continued. "We were gonna go public, anyway, when Wells..."

"What, turned in your dad?" Monty asked, curious.

"Anyway, the guard showed up before we could... Alaric fought them off, but in the end, my father surrendered to them as they started pulling guns on us, and then they took Alaric and him away," Clarke sighed again, distressed as she leaned against Alaric. "That's why today. That's why it was worth the risk. Even if we all die, at least they bought themselves more time."

"Oh! Now I know why I didn't see you for a long while back in the Ark, Alaric," Finn said quietly, looking at him. "You were already locked up."

"Yeah..." Alaric said nonchalantly. Instead, he embraced Clarke closer.

"They're gonna kill more people, aren't they?" Monty inquired further.

"Good. After what they did to me, I say, float them all," Octavia said, not caring about anyone up there.

"You don't mean that," Jasper said from the back.

"Clarke and I still have people up there that need to get here, to the ground, Octavia," Alaric said softly, not mad. He knew that if the problem kept growing in the Ark, they would need to crash it into the Earth as a last option because there were no more available options in space. Eventually, everyone would die.

"Sorry, Alaric. I don't truly mean it. I was just... you know, about what they did," Octavia quickly apologized, latching onto his arm. She knew that the man they killed, Clarke's father, was also his father.

"I know," Alaric smiled, caressing her arm while embracing her.

"So, we have to warn them," Finn said.

"That's what we're trying to do, by preserving the devices on our wrist," Clarke said to everyone.

Octavia suddenly ran away from Alaric's arms as she saw a river in front and started removing her pants, giving everyone a show with her beautiful ass and toned legs.

"Oh, damn, I love Earth. Oh! Holy..." Jasper gasped, seeing her.

"Ha ha!" Finn was enjoying himself too.

"Hoo hoo hoo," Jasper exclaimed, seeing her ass bounce as she walked.

"Damn, baby," Alaric whistled, loving the girl.

"Octavia, what the hell are you doing?" Clarke said, open-mouthed and surprised.

*Splash*—Octavia smiled at them as she jumped into the river.

"Octavia..." Monty called out as he saw her in the water. "We can't swim."

"I know, but we can stand," Octavia smiled mischievously. Then she stood on her legs. "Ha ha ha!"

"Wait," Clarke shook Alaric as he was removing his pants. "There's not supposed to be a river here."

"Maybe in time the terrain changed," Alaric answered, finishing removing his clothes and standing only wearing his briefs. "It could be a lot of things that made this river—erosion, tectonic plates movement, the climate, a lot of things..."

Clarke heard him for a moment and then she started paying more attention to her brother's cocks which was caged by his briefs and his muscular body than anything else while she bit her lower lips in desire.

"Come on, Alaric." Octavia wailed eagerly in the water as she was like Clarke eating him alive with her eyes.

"You hear him. So take off your damn clothes," Finn said, removing his shoes.

"Wait, what is that?" Alaric said, seeing a lot of water movement in the distance.

"Oh fuck," Alaric exclaimed, thinking it could be a crocodile or alligator. "Octavia, get out of the water!"

Alaric yelled and then jumped into the water after taking his knife from the pants pocket.

"Get out now!" Jasper quickly called out as he saw the water movement too.

"What?" Octavia said, not understanding.

"Out, get out," Alaric said, pushing her to his back just in time as the thing in the water crashed against him. He saw that it was a big fucking jumbo snake-looking thing. Without thinking twice, he stabbed the thing with the knife as it came at him with an open mouth full of teeth like a piranha. The moment he stabbed it deeply in its flesh, it writhed in pain, swimming and thrashing around. He grabbed it around his body, but it was very slippery, and he couldn't get a firm hold as he stabbed it repeatedly a few times before it came at him again. It grazed his arm with its sharp teeth as it writhed in pain.

"Alaric! Get out of the water now!" Clarke called out from the shore desperately.

"Alaric!" Octavia too called out, worried as she looked at the water.

"I'm going," Alaric said, swimming to the shore from the pool of blood in the water pouring out of the wounded snake-looking thing.

"Watch out! It's coming back," Clarke quickly said as she saw it swimming toward him.

"Damn," Alaric turned around and readied himself just in time, pushing the damn thing's mouth aside as it tried to take a bite out of him. Then he stabbed it deeply in its eyes, going all the way inside. The snake writhed for a last moment before stopping its struggles.

He quickly grabbed it with one hand from the eye cavity and swam the last part to the shore with it.

"I got you," Clarke said, exhaling as she tried to pull Alaric from the water with Octavia.

"Hey," Alaric said with a smile, gasping for breath on the shore. "It was a damn weird thing, that snake."

"Why are you so stupid? How could you..." Clarke hit his chest as she cried on him.

"I'm fine, baby," Alaric tried to appease her as he kissed her mouth. "It just scratched my arm a little with its teeth."

"I hate you. Never do that to me again," Clarke cried on him.

"I couldn't leave Octavia in the water. Who knows what it would have done to her, baby," Alaric said, caressing her cheeks.

"Alaric, thank you," Octavia said. Seeing that Clarke gave him space as she was tending his arm. Octavia quickly dropped into his arms and took his cheeks into her hands, and started kissing him passionately. "Thank you, thank you."

"Don't worry, Octavia. I said before that I would rescue you next time and any time you need it," Alaric chuckled, seeing how emotional and desperate she was.

"You did it," Octavia said, adoring and loving him as she looked into his eyes. Then she kept kissing him.

Clarke sighed, seeing how things were already. Then she took a piece of cloth and bandaged the scratch. Fortunately, it didn't penetrate deeply; it just grazed his skin.

"You have big balls to jump in and fight that thing," Monty commented beside them with a chuckle.

"I never thought that I would wake up today to fight that snake-looking thing," Alaric smirked, looking at the big snake beside them.

"What do we do with it now?" Finn asked, seeing that everything had calmed down.

"Can we eat it?" Jasper asked, his mouth watering as he looked at it.

"I don't know," Alaric said, a little weirded out.

Octavia didn't care about it but kissed Alaric again, loving kissing him too much and wanting to kiss him all day if possible.

Clarke looked like she would pop a vein, seeing Octavia so clingy to her brother.

"Note to self: next time, save the girl," Monty said, giving a side elbow to Jasper, who was looking at Octavia eating out Alaric.

Everyone laughed as Octavia got a little shy with a smile, hiding her face on Alaric's neck but still kissing his neck naughtily.
