The Ancient Wizards Apprentice

The sun was high in the sky, beaming heat and warmth down on everyone below it. The animals singing a joyous tune and the trees and plants swaying to the tune. This place looked so peaceful, a haven.

Sunny looked around and in a distance she hears the sound of branches snapping and the bushes rustling. She immediately turns around and sees a young boy around 3 years old. His hair was very curly and dark, he had brown skin, very scrawny to the point that his bones were showing. He was ashy and dirty as if he hadn't showered in weeks.

Sunny looked at the boy with pity. The boy looked at her with his big brown eyes. He ran towards her in excitement. "Are you a fairy? I saw you poof." He said and made a poof gesture.

Sunny bent down and smiled at the little boy. "Well, thats not how you properly introduce yourself. I'll tell you after you tell me who ypu are." She said a laughed.

"Oh, sorry. My name is Casey. I picked it cause I saw it on this paper. Actually, I was trying to get some food but they wouldn't let me and threw the paper at me. Then I saw the name and I knew I wanted my name to be Casey. Isn't that cool!?" The boy replied while smiling.

"Alright Casey, my name is Sunny but you can call me aun-" Sunny stopped and remembered her current appearance. She believed she looked too old to be call auntie. "Grandma Nyny. By the way, wheres your family? Why would they leave such a adorable little boy like you alone." She asked concerned. Sunny already had an ides that he might not have any family but she thought it never hurts to asks. Maybe if he does have family she could help him find them.

"Oh, on my daddy went with me to make a wish but then he never came back. He said sorry I don't know why, I liked my birthday gift. I just have to wait for daddy to come back." Casey replied.

Sunny immediately felt sad for the boy. He was obviously abandoned but he was too young to understand. "Well casey would you like to come with Grandma Nyny. I will give you all the food you want and your own room." She felt as if she was trying to lure the boy in to kidnap him.

"Really!? Can my room be light blue and purple?" Casey exclaimed.

Sunny nodded and took Caseys hand. "Your room can be however you want but first you have to tell Grandma Nyny where we are, how old you are, and what is todays date. After that leave everything to me, okay?" She was a little afraid he wouldn't understand because he looked so young.

"Thats so easy! Today is, 3 months after my birthday, so july! And I was born April 11. Im 3 because my birthday just passed. My daddy always say we are in the states, I think?" Casey replied. At first he was excited but then became confused.

Sunny looked at Casey and thanked him. She took his hand and made him lead the way to the market. 'I have alot of gold with me. I brought everything I own hopefully they accept gold on this planet.' Sunny thought.

Sunny went towards a pawn shop and asked them if they accept gold here. The owner immediately looked happy. She took out five 10 gram pure gold bar and gave it to the owner. He appraised the gold and gave her a price. He said he'd buy all five for 6 thousand dollars.

Sunny sent the whole day collecting information about this place called earth. Apparently theres different continents, and each continent have their own language and people. Where she is right now is in one of the state in America.

She plans to use her magic to make her identity so she doesn't have to go through the pain of doing it herself, especially since she doesn't know much. She has to get a phone, a card, a car, and a house now that she has a kid to take care of.
