Overhaul: Shigaraki where are you?

*He searches the area for Shigaraki and Eri, with a particular focus on finding Shigaraki. Meanwhile, the deformed creatures follow Overhaul, with some of them moving ahead. The energy from the third link still resonates throughout his body, mysteriously guiding him toward Shigaraki's location.*

Shigaraki: ...

*Hiding in the bushes, covering Eri's mouth, he wonders what to do in this situation: should he attack Overhaul or not?*

(In his mind).

"I guess I have no choice but to fight."

*Hearing Eri's terrified screams echoing through the air after one of the creatures viciously yanked her away from Shigaraki's grasp.*

"Shit!"

(Out of his mind).

*One of the creatures plunges its razor-sharp claw deep into Shigaraki's chest, right through his heart, unleashing a torrent of blood that sprays everywhere, bathing the surrounding area in a gruesome crimson hue.*

Overhaul: ...

*His eyes widen in horror as he watches Shigaraki get stabbed directly in the heart, and for a moment, he looks over at Eri as a twisted smile appears on his face, as if the first link personality is taking over.*

(In his mind).

*His eyes widened as he took in the sight of three versions of himself standing before him, each displaying a distinct reaction: The first link was interested in the situation, The second link was oblivious and unresponsive to the situation, and the third link appeared fearful.*

*The personality of the first link is starting to take over after witnessing Eri.*

"I have no control over one of them. His personality is taking over."

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: Eri... Finally, I found you.

*A twisted, sinister smile spreads across his face as he walks right towards Eri, who is trembling uncontrollably in fear, her eyes wide with terror, while the creature holds her down with an unyielding grip.*

Shigaraki: ...

*His quirk rapidly regenerates his heart, healing the wound inflicted by the creature, Shigaraki's eyes widen. He swiftly utilizes his quirk, Rivet Stab, generating black tendrils with prominent red cracked lines that extend from his fingers to Overhaul and the other creatures, stabbing them.*

Overhaul: Shigaraki you bastard!

*Looks at him with a fierce glare, his eyes blazing with anger, while coughing up blood that trickles down his chin.*

Shigaraki: ...

*He quickly sprang up, rushed over to Eri, grabbed hold of her, and then swiftly ran off with her.*

(At the other world).

Dabi: He changed.

*Staying quiet, he wonders how he is supposed to defeat him now, his mind racing with doubts and fears. As a voice appears in his mind, his eyes snap open to reveal a transformed town, including the church, leaving him to ponder if he was the one responsible for the change or if it was Random's doing.*

Random: I don't understand why you're complaining. As a demon myself, I believe we're stronger than him.

*Random suddenly appears in front of Dabi, standing at a distance. His faceless face gazes at him with no discernible expression.*

Dabi: I want to talk to the other me, but I can't do that if they're butting in.

*He gazes at the demon, who's cradling a bulging bag of gold in his arms, a look of peculiar admiration on his face as he stares at the treasure.*

Random: Haven't you forgotten that I can clone myself anywhere? Your ancestor was smarter than you, but since you insist on proceeding, I suppose we'll part ways for now. I'll fight the demon while you converse with your other self.

Dabi: Thought we're doing the clones?

*He looks at Random but realizes it is too late.*

Random: I feel like this demon won't let me do it since his power is preventing me.

*Using his power to separate from Dabi, he soon realized that even this temporary reprieve would be short-lived, as the curse proved stronger than he had anticipated. The scenery shifted back to the cabin, where Dabi let out a blood-curdling scream as his skin was severely burned. Despite the excruciating pain, he had no choice but to press on.*

Random: Go but make it quick.

*He glances back at Dabi, who has curled up into a ball, screaming in agony as blood seeps onto the grass, mingling with the raindrops falling around him.*

Dabi: Fuck fuck...

*He trembles uncontrollably as he moves slowly through the grass, leaving behind a trail of blood, his breathing heavy as he struggles to move as quickly as possible before they fuse back together again. As the sounds of battle grew louder behind him, he knew he couldn't afford to look back; his sole focus was finding his other self, and he crawled towards the cabin, wincing in pain with each slow movement.*

(In his mind).

"I have to keep going. Damn, this hurts..."

*He continued to crawl towards the stairs but suddenly fell through a hidden trapdoor.*

"What the hell!?"

*He fell down and landed on someone who was holding a book.*

"Fuck fuck that really hurts!"

*His eyes closed tightly due to the painful fall, but he opened them slightly to see Overhaul, whose eyes were wide with fear.*

"Overhaul?"

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: D-Dabi?

*He looked down at the blood-soaked skin of Dabi, the sight of severe burn marks covering his body sent a wave of panic through him.*

Dabi: ...

*He looks at Overhaul, then at the book beside him, and his eyes widen in realization. He struggles to open his mouth, forcing himself to speak. The severe burns around his mouth caused him immense pain.*

Dabi: Don't let it take over you Overhaul... The book is evil...

*He was breathing heavily after just a few words, but he was determined to find his other self.*

Overhaul: What the hell are you talking about? Maybe you must be delirious from the fall, but don't worry, I'll heal you.

*Using his quirk, he disassembles and reassembles Dabi, instantly healing his wounds.*

Dabi: Thanks Overhaul.

*After being instantly healed by Overhaul's quirk, he hugs him tightly.*

Dabi: I promise to save your other self from the book, and remember, don't let the book take over.

*He uses his quirk to illuminate the darkness, allowing him to run through it with ease. Hearing footsteps coming from the stairs, he noticed that it was the other version of himself. Both Dabis exchanged a shocked glance, their eyes widening in unison as they stared at each other.*

*Both stay silent for a few seconds, until the original Dabi breaks the silence, starting to say something.*

Dabi: Listen to me, there are cult members, and they have this book. They're after Overhaul. These cult members want to use Overhaul for evil.

*He attempts to explain himself as best he can, despite secretly wondering if he could have done a better job. He feels Random's power coursing through him once more as the time limit draws near, a sensation that's both welcome and unsettling, given his current reunion with his other self.*

Dabi: I have the power to give you the power to stop the book if you use it right.

*He looks at his other self hoping he'll understand the situation.*

Second Dabi: You're me?

*He stepped back, shocked into silence by the revelation from the other Dabi. He couldn't believe that another version of himself was standing right in front of him.*

Dabi: Listen to me! An evil lurks in the shadows.

*He grabs hold of the second Dabi's shirt as Random's power energy transfers to the second Dabi.*

Dabi: The book and the cult are the main enemies. Don't let them win. The book will target Overhaul so now you have the power to stop it.

*He looks at him, hoping for understanding of the situation.*

(In his mind).

"Why can't I just defeat the book right now?"

(Out of his mind).

Cupiditas: It's because I'm still here.

*He stands behind him, grabs him immediately, and pulls him into a different world where the first link awaits, foreshadowing what's to come.*

Dabi: ...

*His eyes widened as he locked eyes with the first link, shocked to see him with a woman who was holding a knife.*

Izumi: Don't butt in league of villain.

*She says it angrily while holding the knife, mostly focused on Overhaul and not Dabi.*

Overhaul: Didn't expect you to show up? So quickly Dabi.

*He smirks slightly as he callously discards Toga's lifeless body, treating it like nothing more than a pile of trash.*

Dabi: You're the first link...

(In his mind).

"Why did the goat mask member just send me here?"

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: ...

*He looks at him, confused, but then hears footsteps approaching and sees the woman stab him in the chest without hesitation. His eyes widen briefly before a sinister smile appears on his face as she realizes it's actually Dabi she's stabbing.*

Izumi: No I didn't want to kill you!

*She pulls out the knife and glances back at Overhaul, who responds with a smirk.*

Dabi: ...

*His eyes widen as blood begins to appear, but the wound heals rapidly, the bleeding ceasing almost as quickly as it started.*

(In his mind).

"Now I get it he brought me here so the first link could kill me."

(Out of his mind).

Overhaul: Huh? Did you survive that? How unfortunate. I guess I could kill two people.

*A sly, twisted smile slowly spreads across his face, revealing a hint of mischief in his eyes.*
