The Backbender (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

"Shut down the tribe exits and entrances!" Arnook commanded with fear and panic as he looked at the empty pond. The Moon and Ocean Spirits were not there.

"Yes!!!" The soldiers, benders and even Pakku moved as they all ran to stop the possible run of whoever was involved in the incident. The team Avatar stood on the side, watching with worry.

"Is the Moon and Ocean spirit important?" Fei asked with worry as she moved closer to the pond. She felt the water and the remaining essence of the spirits.

"Wait... This!" Fei looked back at Knauk with confusion. She felt the same essence on Kanuk's body. It was like Kanuk changed in essence.

Fei was worried about what it meant, but she did trust Kanuk. She stood up and moved back next to Kanuk. Yue looked at the water with worry and sadness.

Yue felt her connection to the two spirits vanishes while time Kanuk absorbed their attributes. She was the one who alerted Arnook and the tribe.

Yue felt her lips tremble as she watched the pond. Kanuk turned to Yue, and he smiled. Kanuk looked at Yue's spirit and noticed it was deteriorating.

She was dying. Due to the two spirits also being dead. Kanuk did not want that. So he walked next to her and used his max-level water bending.

Kanuk used his water bending to change Yue's spirit. Spirit bending is a branch of water bending.

Kanuk did not need to learn and level it. With max-level water bending, he could do anything with water bending, including Spirit Bending and Blood Bending.

Her spirit healed, and it was no longer deteriorating like before. She was now back to a healthy state.

"Without the spirits, we can no longer water bend, and it will cause chaos and disasters in the world!" Arnook explained in panic as he walked around the place, trying to think of anything to do.

"Well, my water bending is not gone for sure," Kanuk smirked as he gathered water. Arnook looked in surprise as the water gathered. Katara and Fei followed, also gathering water.

"How is that possible? Without the ocean and moon spirit, it should be impossible to use water bending." Arnook asked himself as he watched the water. Just as they were talking, a soldier rushed in.

"Chief! The Fire Nation is attacking us!" Arnook instantly thought about the spirit's disappearance, and his eyes burned with anger as the culprit appeared.

"it was those fire nation bastards! Attack them and make sure not a living soul is left!" Arnook had no mercy left in his bones. Kanuk turned to walk out with his team, reaching the wall.

Kanuk jumped to the top and watched as battalions of warships came closer to the tribe. The ships had cannons on the deck and were fired at the wall.

"Fire!" The warships lit up the fuse, and Kanuk smirked as he pointed his hand out. 

Boom!

Everyone watched as a black-dark wave flew out of his hand. It was hundreds of meters wide and like a crescent-shaped slash. That was a gravity pulse.

The gravity rushed out at the speed of light since it was just a wave. The cannons that were fired stopped in place before they rushed back to where they were fired from.

Boom!

The ships had a hole blown on the decks as the cannons were fired back even faster. Zhao stood on a warship surrounded by other warships, his eyes wide as he watched.

Behind the fleet of warships, another warship watched with wide eyes. Iroh and Zuko stood on the deck, their eyes drawn to Kanuk on the wall, his hand stretched out.

"That was not bending... What was that?" Zuko asked with confusion as he looked at the warships set on fire. Iroh shrugged with confusion. He was confused as well.

"Fire Nation! I suggest you go back to where you came from. Or I will have to bathe my hands in human blood!" The soldiers of the Fire Nation looked up in fear, meeting eyes with Kanuk.

Boom!

The water lowered a meter as a blue beam of light shot into the sky. The clouds dispersed as the beam shot through the clouds. The sun appeared from the clouds and shone down on the ground and water.

Everyone watched as the soft light surrounded Kanuk's body. His hair softly rustled as his body rested in the light. Then came fear. They watched as he pointed his hand towards the far ocean.

Kanuk condensed a beam of water and pressurised it until he couldn't pressurise it. Kanuk then used gravity bending to alter the weight of the particles in the water.

Swoosh!

The air was cut as a beam of water the size of a pinky shot out from Kanuk's hand. Everyone watched with bated breath as it fired thousands of meters away from them before falling into the water.

The silence was heard for a second before they saw a massive shockwave erupt in the distance. 

Boom!

Water rose hundreds of meters into the air as the Tsunami started forming. A massive hole five hundred deep and two thousand meters wide was made in the ocean.

The wave of water rushed towards the fire nation, and with them not being able to do anything to stop it, their ships were eaten, along with the lives of the Soldiers.

"Is this the power of a God?" The benders inside the walls of the tribe muttered and asked themself as they watched the Tsunami stop a few meters in front of the wall. 

Kanuk calmed the ocean, and the water fell back like it had its strings cut. The ocean currents slowed, and the energy of the explosion was shot into the air like a beam.

Kanuk felt his power and smirked as he realised that he barely used a fraction of his full power. He used water from the air, but his power was to use the entire ocean and bodies of water on the planet.

Kanuk looked into the distance, where the warship of Iroh and Zuko was left unharmed due to his will. He waved at them and smirked as he watched them turn the ship around.

Jumping down, Kanuk walked towards his team. Benders, soldiers and even Pakku and Arnook made way for him, not taking their eyes off him.

Kanuk looked at this with a raised brow but only shrugged since he did not care. Katara and Fei looked at Kanuk in shock and wondered how his water bending became so strong.

After being hugged by Katara and Fei, Kanuk and the water tribe celebrated the defeat of the Fire Nation. The disappearance alerted them, but seeing as nothing happened to their bendings, they shrugged.

As the water tribe celebrated In the Fire Nation. Fire Lord Ozai was sitting on his throne, fire burning on both sides of his room, turning the room hot and red.

"Azula... Go and capture those 2 traitors, and if you have to. Kill them!" Ozai's cold and cruel voice was heard from the throne. In front of him was Azula, kneeling with fierce eyes.

"Yes, father!"
