The Baddest

Chapter 21: A Memory of Torture

"You weren't the person I summoned. I'm pretty sure I summoned the witch. What I'm experiencing right now is like a nightmare, a specter emerging from the shadows of the past," Ru said, trying to calm down by taking short, quick laps in front of his broken throne.

"You're always confident, even when you're fooling yourself," said the Sultan of the djinn in a deep, booming voice.

"It's me who keeps you alive in my mind. It's me who tortures myself by remembering you," Ru said, taking a deep breath.

The Sultan said with a tone of sarcasm, "I know you and I know how much you miss suffering, my dear bird."

In a single glance, Ru said, "You know, I miss that sweet moment when you were destroyed, Arazharn."

"If you say my name two more times, you will see that my moment of extinction is just your hallucination. How about you try?" said the genie sultan.

Ru said, "You're not worth the trouble," looking around suspiciously. He looked for an exit among the flashes of broken crystals.

"Aren't you bored, little one?" asked the genie sultan, with fake affection in his voice.

"If I weren't so bored, I wouldn't be making it harder by picturing you," Ru said, sinking to the ground in exasperation.

"I thought you liked being imprisoned. You know, the moment I bestowed you your freedom, you betrayed me, my bird," said the genie sultan and laughed lightly.

"Bestow? My freedom belonged to me, but you stole it from me," Ru said, shrinking into his seat and pulling his legs up.

"Tsk tsk, what a bad person I was," said the genie sultan with his usual sarcasm.

"Weren't you?" Ru asked, opening his eyes wide and looking at the crystal shard on the ground. He'd already traveled a long way in the ocean of time, and he'd polluted it enough by letting his bad memories linger there.

Ru thought the crystal he'd thrown into the ocean was sinking fast, disappearing into the depths. But it was getting brighter and brighter.

The sharp radiation released created Arazharn's lightning-filled eyes. And his stormy voice silenced the symphony of the crystal tower and made all the strings of Ru tremble.

"You! You are my favorite concubine."

"I can't be, it's impossible!" said young Ru, appearing on the dusty scene of the past.

"If you don't be, why are you in my room instead of my new concubine?" the young genie prince asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

"You've dismembered enough concubines, we couldn't find a living girl to give you. That's why I came," Ru said, clenching his fists.

"Are you a girl?" the prince asked with a slightly mischievous grin.

"Tell me, what's your problem," Ru asked.

"My problem is you," the prince replied.

"Then eliminate me and be saved," Ru said, his ire rising.

"If you die suddenly, you can't enjoy it," the prince said casually.

"What the fuck are you talking about," Ru asked.

Right then, the prince just vanished from sight. Ru swallowed hard and took a step back. He was about to mumble something like, "Sorry, I forgot you were a talented wizard."

All of a sudden, Ru felt an electric sensation in his left foot. When he looked down, he noticed the mist wrapping around his wrist.

Ru asked sarcastically, trying to hide his fear, "Are you doing a magic show for me?"

As the mist slowly wrapped around his leg, caressing his skin and beginning to stimulate his nerve endings, Ru found himself on the fine line between pain and pleasure. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, letting the sensation slowly spread through his body. He felt like he was on the edge of something, about to break free and plunge into the unknown.

As the mist played Ru's body, Prince Arazharn observed with a blend of amusement and disdain. His slave had always been attractive to him, but he had never given in to his desires. He was a prince, after all, and he had a reputation to uphold.

But now, as he watched Ru squirm under the mist's touch, he could feel his body tensing up. Ru was sweating, his skin shedding these shiny pearls that Arazharn loved so much.

Arazharn whispered excitedly into Ru's ear, "You're the star of my show, as always."

"You've made me proud. Now let me go, Majesty!" Ru said, out of breath.

“I wonder: What would you do if I told you that I am the mist that surrounds you?” Arazharn asked, breathing in his scent.

As Ru held his breath his body stiffened.

The mist took on the shape of Arazharn's body as it swirled around Ru.

Arazharn asked with a mocking look and a striking tone, “Didn't you like my performance?”

“It might be better without electricity,” Ru said quickly.

Without thinking, Arazharn stepped forward and grabbed Ru's chin, forcing him to look up.

"You will pleasure me," Arazharn said, his voice deep and commanding.

"What?" Ru asked, his eyes wide with shock.

"You will pleasure me," Arazharn repeated, his grip on Ru's chin tightening.

Ru was trying to ignore what he was hearing, "What are you talking about? I brought you coffee, right? And I play the flute for you. That's what I came here for."

Suddenly, something snapped in Arazharn. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to have Ru, no matter what the consequences.

"Kneel before me," Prince Arazharn demanded in a voice that was both seductive and authoritative.

"Never," Ru said sternly.

This was the kind of answer Arazharn could not accept. He grabbed Ru's neck and gave it a firm but passionate squeeze.

Ru instinctively grabbed the prince's wrists, his heart racing as he locked eyes with Arazharn's ice-blue gaze.

Arazharn's face remained impassive, but there was an unmistakable hunger in his eyes. The prince leaned in closer, his breath hot against Ru's ear.

"You're just a whore trying to seduce me. Get out of my sight!" Arazharn hissed, pushing Ru away with a forceful.

Ru found himself on the ground. While he was trying to stand up, he was kicked in the stomach.

Then he kept getting kicked and punched. Each blow sent waves of pain through his body, and he knew it was never going to stop. Arazharn burned with an unfulfilled desire.

Even though Ru knew what was going on, he was fooling himself. He was young and new to the feeling of love. Prince Arazharn wasn't the one he loved, but the one he hated with a passion. That's why Ru couldn't forget about him.
