"Are you still depressed about failing your mission "

Scarlet looked up meeting her boss's worried eyes.

"You don't need to worry ,you will get another chance" he muttered.

She got up sighing. She had lied about him not being at the penthouse , claiming it was false intel to throw off anyone after his life off his tail.

They had questioned it ,since it was rare for the organisation to get false information ,but Rae Declays was known to be a cunning man so it wasn't impossible that he had done it .

"But until then you need to rest , I was told you have been feeling sick lately " he added.

Scarlet breathed turning back to face him , "am fine , fainted out of hunger ".she lied.

He scoffed.

"Alara , I can clearly seen how pale looking you are . Something is wrong "

He was the only person who calmed her by her real name in the organisation and also the only one she couldnt lie to .

"I just feel bloated and can't keep anything down "she explained.

"Gone to the hospital yet ?" He asked.

"No, for I don't think it's serious " she said.

"Then let out doctor check you out. You might have caught something on one of your previous missions"

She blinked clearly not interested.

"You know I will be more worried if I don't know what is wrong with you " he added getting up.

He was more of a brother han her boss ,she smirked.

He opened the door and she walked out. Together they walked to the infirmary on the second floor.

The doctor did some tests and headed to the lab so they waited.

"Are you free this weekend ?" He asked.

"Mmm, it's my day off " she beamed.

"Any plans ?"

"No, staying home in my bed "

"Then come watch a movie with me ,I will pick you up" he offered.

"Can't we do it at home instead ?"she frowned.

"Nope , more fun at the theater " he chuckled.

The door opened and the doctor returned. He sat back and gazed up at the both of them .

"Something wrong ?" Adrian asked.

"Hmm, one test came out positive" he explained.

"And ...what is it?" her boss asked.

"Is something wrong with me ?" She asked.

The doctor nodded passing her the test results.

"Congratulations , your two weeks pregnant " he annouced.

"HUH?!" the two yelled.

Scarlet looked down at the paper in her arms ,clearly see the positive word on it.

She was pregnant , but .....her mind went blank .

There was only one explanation and neither her boss or the organisation was going to like it.

.....

"Tell me" Adrian dragged her out of the doctors office in a hurry.

"But ...".

He stopped looking back at her.

"Who is the father ?" he asked.

She gulped not ready to share her secret. She had laid already about not meeting him ,but the proof had been growing inside her now for two weeks.

"Alara ,answer me " he yelled.

She breathed looking back at him with teary eyes .

"Rae Declays" she answered.

"What?...what do you mean. You never ...." He stopped glaring down at her.

"Am sorry " she muttered.

"What did you do ,Alara " he muttered.

"Nothing ...it was an accident and I...I" she stammered tears falling down her face.

Adrian sighed .

"Does anyone else know about this...you seeing him that night ?" He asked.

"No one did until I told you right now " she answered.

"Good ,let's keep it that way . And incase anyone does say it's mine " he said.

She gapped , "No I can't do that ...."for if she did she would drag him down along with her. Relationships between employees in the organisation was prohibited and was punishable by death.

"They will kill you instantly if they find out who the real father is . And I have a higher position they can't easily dispose of me " he assured her.

He was right , he was a better choice than Rae, who was seen as threat to the organisation.

She breathed her body felt weak.

"For now go home and rest ,I will try to keep your mission less dangerous until we find a good way to bring this up to the superiors " he instructed.

She left feeling down and exhausted for some reason, but the surprises werent over .

When she got home someone she opened the door to someone sitting comfortably in the living room.

"Scarlet " his seductive deep voice called out to her.

It was him, Rae Declays looking up at her with a smile on his face.

Without warning Alara fainted falling back.

"Alara " his voice raised he rushed to her side catching her before she could hit the floor.
