The Journey to Vacuo is not comfortable in the least, that is what Jaune had noted in what would be his 2 days in the sea now..

The ration that Mordred Bought alongside the few bottle of water is enough for Jaune to survive for one or 2 more days.. and that if he didn't ration it.. with rationing? A week at most.

"*sigh*" Jaune let out a sigh and look at the Crocea Mors which is propped up against one of the crates wall and start to think... well think on what would he do after the ship arrived at its destination.

If all goes well, Jaune would arrive in Vacuo in a day or two, but he could be wrong... but a boy can hope can't he?

As for which port the ship would stop? Well Jaune frankly didn't know, but from the fact that Andrew told Jauen that all of this supplies is from the government then there's a good chance that the ship would land close to Vacuo.

It would be a lot easier if the ship stop right directly at Vacuo, But unless Vacuo suddenly change location further south to the point that its close to the ocean then it would be possible.. but sadly, Vacuo is located deep in the land far away from the ocean.

So Jaune probably gonna have to travel to Shade academy himself when he arrive at the port..... it would not be that hard to find Shade Academy considering that its the only place somebody could legally and officially train to be a hunter.. that he know off.

There's not a lot of things in Vacuo from what Jaune had gathered.. just sands and general dangers... its not that hard for Jaune to know why Vacuo could be considered as the weakest or the poorest kingdom in the whole world.. even poorer than kuo kana which is not even a kingdom, just a city? Town? Well it's for sure as hell isn't a settlement like the many settlements in Vacuo.

At least in kuo kana the fishing business considering that it's a tropical place... as for Vacuo? Jaune doesn't know anything that would be good for import to the other kingdom... glass? That could be one... spices? Anima also have spices.. what else?

"*sigh* I know I should do my research more... I'm going to be living there for years." Jaune slightly regretted his decision onto researching mostly of hunter related business in Vacuo.

Hunter related business which is not good to say the least, not much hunter resided in Vacuo because of better job opportunities or even general living condition are much better in the other kingdom, to the point that Shade academy open its door for children over the age of 11 years old to Join.

And because Shade academy knows that most children doesn't even have their official birth certificate or any ID, they allowed them to just sign some paper for their names and age and be allowed to join the academy.

That's one of if not the biggest reason Jaune wanted to join Shade Academy, the fact that he could just join just by writing his name and age.. both in which Jaune could lie about.

For the past couple of weeks, Jaune and Mordred had brainstorm for some Fake name for Jaune.. and they reach into a few option at the end.

The first one is Jaune Luna or John Luna.

The second is Arthur.

And the last one is Nero.

Jaune would be open for any ideas for names he would come up for Later, but for now those three are his option.

Speaking of Mordred... Jaune feel his heart start to ache again at the thought of his big sister... he missed her.. if only it's possible for her to Join him on his runaway trip...

But he knows she can't come because it'll put an even more target on Jaune and made him much easier to find.

After all it's much easier to find a duo of blonde little brother and big sister rather than just a blonde boy.

Even though blonde isn't common in Vacuo, there are still quite a few blonde people there, Jaune probably gonna need to dye his hair a little white or something to make turn his hair from golden blonde to ashy blonde...

For now Jaune planned to let the sands do its business in changing his eye colour and make it sandy Blonde.. get it? SANDy blonde...

Jaune then hugged his knees in the fetal position and look out of the small window on the wall.

'Mordred would laugh at my Joke.. well either Laugh or trying to put me in a chokehold for making a pun... but even then... I....' Jaune then shakes his head to stop himself into spiraling into his thoughts about Mordred.

His mood is already negative, the last thing he wanted is to be more negative and attract some ocean grimms.

Speaking of Grimms, A few hours ago there was a couple of Grimms that tried to Attack the ship, But thankfully some of the sailor is a retired Hunter or a person who had their Aura unlocked, and so they finished their business with the grimms in about 30 minutes.. Jaune was really tempted to go out and help but even he isn't that Stupid because if he did go outside and fight the grimm.. its game Over for him, the Sailor would know he is in the ship and even if Jaune manages to escape from the sailors when they docked, The sailor would informed the authorities and most importanly his father that he is in Vacuo..

Is Jaune currently worried that His father would try and search for Jaune in Vacuo? No.. because Jaune had made sure to not leave any clues that he'll go to Vacuo.

And frankly, it's wouldn't make sense for his father to think that he even goes to Vacuo, he doesn't even know the reason about why Jaune run away, his father would most likely think that Jaune had been kidnapped rather than running away considering that he and Jaune have a good relationship with each other now..

His father had tried to mend their relationship and Jaune had let him do it but even with their bond became a lot closer than it ever was before, Jaune still wanted to become a hunter and his father is his biggest obstruction in his way.

His father Last though would be that Jaune is in Vacuo, and if Jaune guessed right.. by now his father had called the authorities and had started a search party for Jaune.

Does Jaune felt Guilty about it? Yes... but he must do this.. this is the only way... Beacon is no go, His father would instantly know that he had gone to Beacon...

And as for now, anyone who wanted to go to Beacon must pass a combat school exam but from the rumors he had seen on his scroll, Beacon would be more lenient with that rules in the future so they could get even more hunter in training.

But still... Vacuo is his only Choice and Shade is too far away.. he had to cross the ocean to go to mistral while Vacuo and Vale is in the same continent just different kingdom.

And as for now, all Jaune had to do is wait for the ship to arrive in Vacuo....

[AN: well I would say sorry for the Short chapter.. but this chapter kinda had to be a short chapter because it's basically just a filler Chapter for Jaune's time on the ship... can't exactly make it filled with dialogues considering that Jaune is hiding in the storage with no one to talk to, nor could I make it action packed with the reasoning which I wrote in the chapter.. which is that if Jaune go fight grimms and shits while on the ship, he would get instantly caught... but before you ask, this Arc will be filled with much much more action/fight scenes than the previous Arc.... this is Vacuo, basically a lawless place... so there will be a lot of criminals and gangs.. and spoiler alert, this Arc would be shorter than arc 1 cause it'll end when Jaune reach shade academy and join it! After that its a 3-4 years timeskip and we would be closer to canon!!]
