The Eight-Year-Old Me Became Hokage

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: A Genius Unlike Any Other in the Ninja World!

This survival training completely shattered Tobirama's understanding of reality. He took a deep breath, activated the Flying Thunder God, and instantly appeared next to Kazekaze. At first, he had intended to observe from the shadows. But now— There was no need for that anymore. Kazekaze—his grandnephew—was a genius unparalleled in the entire ninja world!

A Seven-Year-Old Prodigy

Tobirama maintained his usual expressionless face, but inside, his emotions were in turmoil. This was a seven-year-old child. With no teacher. With no formal training. Who had single-handedly mastered Senju's monstrous strength. An unmatched, once-in-a-lifetime prodigy!

"Tobirama-sama?"

The first to notice Tobirama's presence was Koharu, who was sitting on the ground, recovering from her injuries. Her eyes widened in shock. The others soon followed.

- Hiruzen.

- Danzō.

- Kagami.

- Homura.

- Torifu.

Everyone froze. Why was Tobirama here now? It Didn't Make Sense If he had arrived earlier, they would have assumed he came to rescue Kazekaze and Koharu. That would have made sense. But the danger was already gone. Koharu's injury was not life-threatening. And yet, Tobirama had still come.

Tobirama scanned the group, his gaze lingering on Kazekaze for an extra second. Everyone except Kazekaze looked confused. Kazekaze, however— Was perfectly calm.

"I Have Been Watching This Training." Tobirama finally spoke.

His tone was calm, but his words sent a chill down their spines.

"I have been using the Telescope Jutsu to monitor this survival exercise."

He glanced at Kazekaze again. And in his heart— Tobirama felt a surge of immense pride.

'That's right. This is my nephew. My successor. My future Hokage.'

He had to stop himself from picking Kazekaze up and hugging him. Kazekaze—

* Had mastered Senju's monstrous strength at the age of seven.

* Possessed a chakra pool greater than the Uzumaki Clan's.

* And hadn't even reached his physical prime yet.

In the future— His chakra reserves would continue to grow. His physical strength would multiply. His dominance in the ninja world would be absolute. Tobirama could already see it.

'When he reaches adulthood… No one in the ninja world will be able to rival him.'

The Greatest Legacy of the Senju Clan. For the first time, Tobirama wished he could gather all the Kage from the other villages. Just to show them—

'Look! This is my nephew, Kazekaze! The future's strongest Hokage!'

In his excitement, Tobirama momentarily forgot that Kazekaze wasn't actually his biological grandson. But deep down— He didn't care. Kazekaze was family. And if anyone dared to threaten him…

'I will personally wipe them from existence.'

Tobirama turned toward Koharu, his sharp gaze pinning her in place.

"Koharu," he said sternly. "Do you understand how close you came to death?"

Koharu looked down, ashamed. She had made the wrong choice. Instead of prioritizing escape, she had panicked and tried to stab the centipede's joints. Had it not been for Kazekaze— She would have died.

"It Was My Mistake, Tobirama-sama."

Koharu lowered her head in apology. She had failed. She had let fear cloud her judgment. As a result, she endangered both herself and Kazekaze. Just as the tension was rising, Kazekaze spoke up.

"What does it matter?" he said casually. "In the end, nothing happened, right?"

Everyone stared at him. Even Tobirama was caught off guard.

Kazekaze had thought ahead. He knew that— Koharu, despite her future reputation, was still just a fourteen-year-old girl. And more importantly—she was an influential figure in Konoha's administration. There was no reason to alienate her. In fact, it was smarter to befriend her. And besides— These people were the future rulers of Konoha. Wasn't it better to have them on his side?

Yes, Kazekaze wanted to be Hokage. But he wasn't some bloodthirsty warlord. Konoha was the strongest of the Five Great Villages.

- It had the best military.

- The most influence.

- The most political power.

Running the village required more than just combat skills. And as much as Kazekaze respected Naruto…

'If I become Hokage, I refuse to be some overworked salaryman drowning in paperwork. A Hokage should lead, not suffer.'

That was the difference between strength and wisdom.

Tobirama Was Momentarily Speechless. This seven-year-old… Had just shut down an entire conflict with a single sentence. Even he, Tobirama Senju—one of the greatest minds in history— Was impressed.

At that moment, Hiruzen finally spoke up. "Tobirama-sama," he said hesitantly. "Just now… what exactly happened?"

Everyone turned to listen. They had all witnessed it— The overwhelming burst of chakra. The devastating impact. The two giant beasts being flung away like dolls. Now, they wanted answers. Tobirama glanced at Kazekaze. Then, he nodded.

"Very well," he said. "This is not a secret technique. I will tell you the truth. The one who defeated those two creatures," Tobirama said, "was Kazekaze."

Silence. A deep, paralyzing silence fell over the group. Hiruzen and Danzō stiffened. Kagami's eyes widened. Koharu and Homura froze. Torifu's jaw dropped open.

"He… killed them?" Hiruzen and Danzō spoke in unison. The creatures had looked unharmed when they ran away. But now— Tobirama was saying they were dead?!

"That's Correct." Tobirama nodded.

"On my way here, I found the centipede's corpse. Its internal organs were completely ruptured. The rhinoceros was likely the same."

For the first time, the young ninjas felt fear. Not of the creatures. But of Kazekaze.

'If he had punched us instead… We would have died instantly.'

Kazekaze— A seven-year-old child—was already a living monster.
