I woke up with Octavia snuggling at my chest, her warm breath on my chest causing me a pause.

Somehow she had wiggled herself into my chest after our little tryst yesterday.

I scoffed with a smile on that and found myself out of her grasp even if that resulted in her unconscious groan.

I walked out of my cabin at the first speck of light finding that man still manned the walls not moving while the smell from the kitchen house had my stomach grumbling.

Before I could decide to get myself something to eat I paused as I felt someone unfamiliar walking up to me.

I looked in the direction and found Murphy walking up to me, he looked way better than he had yesterday having been outfitted in a leathers I had come to make for anyone needing them after a shortage of clothing in the camp.

Behind him was Munroe, I had ordered for someone to always be a foot away from him because I didn't fully trust the guy even as useful as he was with the knowledge he possessed from the grounders.

" You've been a busy man." Murphy said standing beside me.

I gave him a curious glance wondering what he was speaking of.

" The camp I mean." He said quickly his eyes scanning the cabins and people around." The last time I was here it didn't look like...this."

" But than again you always seem to be busy, at least you can find time to distress every now and then." He said his eyes looking back at my cabin having me pause before frowning.

" Were we that loud?" I asked and caught Munroe shuffling staring at the ground with her spear in hand.

" Close to everyone in camp heard. I'm surprised by how you didn't go all night though." He said chuckling.

" Losing your touch?" he asked playfully jabbing at me, probably trying to get on my good side.

" I tried something new and found it effective, too effective." I said with a groan before I started walking off with him and Munroe in tow.

" So have you decided on what to do with me?" He asked staring at me from the corner.

" What do you mean what do I intend to do with you?" I asked with a roll of my eyes before grinning from ear to ear." I'm gonna work you the bone murphy." I said not even looking back when he paused staring at my back even as I entered the dropship.

" He's gotten scarier." I heard Murphy say before he followed me again.

" Still no movements?" I asked while munching on some berries while entering tech cabin.

" No landmine has exploded yet and Charllote hasn't reported any further movements so I think we're good for now." Monty replied still overlooking the crude computer I had made.

" Yeah like I said, they will attack in 2 days and not sooner." Murphy said entering the cabin causing the others to frown.

Nobody really liked the tortured boy.

Aside from Monty the cabin had Raven who was overlooking the miniature radio tower I had for our radios.

Harper was helping her out alongside Jasper who looked to be a bit lost with the tech around him seemingly content with watching Monty instead.

" I'm sorry if I can't trust the Intel of a traitor Murphy." I said rolling my eyes.

" Point taken." He said throwing his arms in the air.

I rolled my eyes at that and walked up to Raven who tried by all means to ignore or not look at me.

" Have you finished making the bullets?" I asked her sitting besides her staring at the tower before using [Structural Analysis] to see whether I would need to improve it or fix it.

" Yeah I managed to remake 75% of the dud bullets before I ran out of supplies, I was gonna ask you if you had anymore yesterday but you seemed....busy." She said not meeting my eyes.

I nodded at that and stood." I'll have the rest of the needed chemical components ready by night for you."

" I'll be able to finish the bullets tommorow then." She said still focused on the radio.

" That's great, what are you doing though?" I asked actually curious as she fiddled with the frequencies of the tower.

" Oh uhm I'm trying to reach the Ark and see whether anyone was left behind as I'm sure not everyone could fit in that one ship." She said making me pause.

I hadn't thought of the ark in a while.

" Have you gotten anything?" I asked curiously.

" Not anything worthwhile besides static." She said tiredly sighing." It's as if they suddenly disappeared."

" That's not possible unless the arks system's shutdown." Monty replied joining in the conversation.

" And if it did shutdown?" Harper inquired.

" Than we have a lot more to be worried about than not getting their signal, life support is under the ships preview of control meaning that if the arks system shutdowns then it's safe to assume that everyone in the ark would slowly run out of air and....die." Monty deduced with a sigh.

I didn't really feel anything when he said that, I knew that I should have felt something but I really couldn't.

Maybe it was the fact that I knew that in the series they don't die and actually come down or that I simply didn't care for them.

Lately I didn't know what I felt anymore, I knew that one of these days I should think of what I wanted in this life really because what had been keeping me going in the first place was hollow now at best.

" Well let's hope not." Munroe said frowning.

Shaking my head with a sigh I stood and walked to the door having finished what I wanted here already.

" Oh by the way, I'll be indisposed for a day." I said causing everyone to pause staring at me curiously.

" Indisposed?" Murphy asked

" I'll be taking another shot at the Fruit, I need to become more stronger." I said with a shrugg causing them to look at me even more confused.

" Wait, didn't you already take the fruit though?" Raven asked staring at me confused, an expression that most mirrored inside the room.

" Yeah I did but I feel like I can handle more." I said vaguely.

" The fruits that this entire war started for?" Asked murphy staring at me.

" Yeah those, I think I can handle another go at them so I'll have Harper and Munroe guard me as I undergo that." I told them while pointedly looking at Harper and Munroe at the end.

Immediately they stood up.

" Are you sure it'll be safe to eat them again?" Asked raven frowning and concerned.

" Meh I'll be fine." I told her with a shrugg.

I hadn't taken the fruits in the first place so I really would.

" See y'all in a bit." And with that I walked off towards the dropship, it was the safest and most fortified facility in camp after all.

I didn't want to delay it in the case that something happened or someone would think it a stupid idea, but I had to keep some of my secrets and I had already lied back then so I was simply laying in the bed i had made.
