The Golem Mage

Chapter 329: Let There Be Chaos... 7.

The gang quickly packed after discussing which region to move to.

Just as they were about to head in the direction of the Beast King Region, they heard shouting and saw someone waving frantically.

Looking over, they could see a group of mages being chased by Orcs.

The slowest mage was eventually caught when a battle axe that was threw lodged itself in his back, causing the mage to fall to the ground.

Without hesitation, the Orcs tied him up while the rest continued to chase the mages, who were still shouting for help in the distance.

"Isn't that Pale Zero?" Arthur joked, recognizing the mage at the back holding most of the Orcs back with his ice magic.

"I can't believe they're already being chased just a few hours after entering the abyss!"

"Alec, I detect three Peak Tier 3 Orcs in the crowd , and the sub captain coming from behind seems to be a very strong Tier 4 Orc. No sign of the shaman yet, though,"

Agnes said, quickly transforming her wand into its staff mode and casting a sensory earth spell to assess their power levels.

" No wonder they're in trouble,"

Alec muttered silently.

"Not all nobles are able to awaken in times of danger and face it head-on, Most of them are just cowards who end up affecting others who truly want to fight for survival."

Alec watched as the newly-formed team that Pale had created struggled and even retreated.

Their lack of teamwork and camaraderie was evident, with some nobles attempting to hold back the Orcs while they retreated slowly and fight for their lives while others simply ran, prioritizing their own survival.

"What do we do, Alec?" Brandon asked, tightening his grip on his sword.

"We don't have a choice but to help them, They've already asked for assistance, and it's clear they don't know how to deal with the Abyss races," Alec replied.

"I'm surprised they've survived this long. If it weren't for Pale holding his ground, they might have been killed already, He deserves respect for that. He's only suffering because he organized the wrong team."

"Most of these idiots he brought along are nothing more than greenhorns who don't know how to spill blood!"

Alec muttered, frustration evident in his voice.

As He summoned Tempest Butcher, Legion, Hive Queen, and Oni.

"Let's show them just how lacking they are," Alec declared, unsheathing his bone katana and gripping it firmly with both hands as he started running towards them.

His determination ignited a fire within the rest of the group, inspiring them to follow behind him like a well-organized army.

Kate breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Alec's group coming to their aid.

Pale hadn't planned properly at all, recklessly charging into the Abyss.

When Kate suggested hiring another adventurer group to guide them, knowing it was their first time in the Orc Abyss, Pale stubbornly refused.

He claimed to have previous experience in the Abyss and believed that with his maps and knowledge of directions, they could navigate any danger, though he said all this but he had an ulterior motives.

He just wanted to Brag that he didn't help from other experienced team when Alec had one, he believed in his team.

However, when faced with real danger, most of the Tier 3 mages in Pale's group revealed their cowardly side. It became apparent that many of them had only reached the Tier 3 realm with the help of their clans' vast resources and cultivation materials.

Their foundations were still unstable, lacking the mastery of proper battle skills or powerful spells to enhance their attacks.

They were simply Tier 3 mages with excess mana and no real skill to show for it.

Upon seeing Alec and his clansmen approaching, some of the noble mages from Pale's group quickly made way for them and continued running.

This display of cowardice disappointed Pale, causing him to feel like a failed leader.

For what people feared most were not lion-like opponents, but rather pig-like teammates who were unable to hold their ground in times of crisis.

It seemed that he had more useless team members than useful ones at the moment.

Alec didn't mind one bit about there attitude , as he wanted the space to showcase his own abilities.

Swinging his sword horizontally, he released a sharp sword Qi that effortlessly eliminated the first Orc that crossed his path.

The rest of his group quickly followed suit, attacking in a coordinated manner.

With each Orc that attempted to approach them, their attacks were either blocked or halted by a water shield or an earth wall.

Agnes skilfully weaved between her spells, defending the group and creating openings for them to unleash their strongest attacks.

The coordination and unity displayed by the Gordons group astounded those watching, leaving Pale feeling embarrassed.

Alec remained at the forefront, with Brandon and Arthur just a step behind. His golems protected their flanks, while Kelvin, the twins, and the remaining member of their group were tasked with guarding their rear, as they protected Agnes in the middle.

Their combination of earth spells and expertly wielded weapons painted the ground red as they cut through the ranks of Orcs.

The Gordons clan mages finally revealed the bloodlust they had been cultivating, honed through numerous battles in the Blood Moon wars.

Their ruthless efficiency shocked onlookers, and even Pale wondered if they were truly just Tier 2 mages.

This was their power that had been built up through the taking of countless lives, particularly goblins during the Blood Moon war.

After much meditation, Alec had discovered a way to harness their bloodlust attributes.

By combining their individual bloodlust powers into a formation, they were able to empower everyone in the group.

Without this formation, mages like Kelvin would struggle alone against a Tier 3 mage and might even meet their demise.

However, with the formation, they became much stronger, able to overpower even a Tier 4 warrior if pushed into a confrontation from there various attacks.

"Get them!"

The orc sub captain finally revealed himself, realizing that his warriors were being swiftly dealt with.

He reluctantly dispatched his most trusted generals, the three Peak Tier 3 Orcs, to confront the troublesome squad of Tier 2 mages consisting of Alec and his group.

With their weapons at the ready, the Orcs charged towards the formation the Gordons clansmen had set.

"Spread out, second form!" Alec commanded the moment he saw them.

He moved backward, allowing both Brandon and Arthur to take his place at the front, while the rest of the group dispersed accordingly.

As the three Orcs closed in on Arthur and Brandon, they were immediately met with a surprise.

As Arthur and Brandon cast a spell together,

[< Low Tier Spell – Sand Storm >]

[< Low Tier Spell – Dancing Of The Metal Blades >]

Unleashing a sandstorm that obstructed the Orcs vision and a flurry of metal swords.

The Orcs, relying on their heightened senses, managed to deflect the incoming swords even though their vision was obscured by the sandstorm, as they were confident of breaking free from the sand storm.

However, upon breaking free from the sandstorm, they began to doubt if their escape had been part of a pre-planned strategy.

As The Gordons clan mages surrounded them from all sides, forming a cage of bloodlust that trapped the Orcs in the middle.

Alec and his crew were now just waiting for the Orcs to make any unnecessary movement.

While Legion and the other golems stood guard, eliminating any Orcs that tried to approach them, and Agnes, who had not participated in the bloodlust cage formation, skilfully targeted those who managed to breach the lines of golems.

Alec had utilized his understanding of using the blood killing intent to devise this formation and its execution had proven to be successful so far.
