The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 124: Master, Shall We Meet?_3

"Don't be so tense, just treat it as a routine trip away from home."

"You're taking it lightly! If He discovers us, your thick skin may take the beating, but I'll be done for!"

Hermes pointed to the overcast sky above, his face full of fear, clearly showing his dread of the Father God was engraved deep in his bones.

"Even if we aren't discovered, do you think you can go back to the past?" Luo En nonchalantly retorted, then narrowed his eyes with a playful tone, "Or, shall I drop you off the boat now? Bet you won't run to Olympus to snitch?"

The thought of the Father God's ruthless demeanor of preferring to kill mistakenly rather than let go, and a group of Chief Gods at War God Mountain sharpening their knives, immediately choked Hermes.

Then, extinguishing the last bit of luck in his heart, a frustrated resignation spread across his face.

"Fine, since I'm here, let's get past the Sea of Okeanos first and talk later when we reach the Chaos Sea Domain."

So, does this mean we wait until we are safe to navigate?

Seeing Hermes buckle under pressure, Luo En nodded in satisfaction, then patted his shoulder, his voice softening.

"That's good. Let Jason handle the navigation ahead; you go back to your room and rest for a while. Feel free to make any requests should you need anything."

Having gotten on the "thief's ship," Hermes had no choice but to comply with the arrangements of this rebel leader from War God Mountain and obediently followed Mechanical God Venus to the guest room to rest.

After watching the new accomplice walk away, Luo En yawned and approached Circe's room.

He effortlessly disarmed the Hermes Script Spells on the door, stepped in, and swiftly closed it behind him.

Inside, Circe was sprawled on the bed, barefoot, hugging a faded pink piggy plushie, sound asleep with half a small cake in her mouth, exuding total relaxation.

At the round table, a mysterious guest not listed among the crew toyed with a black chess piece and invited Luo En:

"Care for a game?"

"Sure, what do you want to bet this time, Master?"

Luo En caught the thrown white piece and sat down across from Hecate, asking playfully.

Hecate blinked her eyes, a bright smile on her face: "Whoever wins gets on top?"

"And what about her?" Luo En pointed to the rightful owner of the room on the bed.

"To be the cushion?"

"Deal!"

Excitement warmed Luo En's heart, and he joyfully agreed, immediately engaging in a fierce battle with Hecate over the chessboard.

After centuries of evolution, their chess skill and wits were nearly equal, resulting in a tight match that was hard to unravel.

As the struggle on the chessboard reached a stalemate, Hecate's gaze shifted, and she casually asked:

"Speaking of which, venturing overseas in search of a slim chance, don't you think this move is too risky?"

"Change brings life, stagnation brings death, I must try whatever risks I have to. Otherwise, when His Majesty the King of Gods is free to act, War God Mountain may not withstand."

Luo En calmly replied while pushing his [chariot] deep into enemy territory, choosing to strike first.

"General!"

"Striking first doesn't necessarily increase your odds of winning; it might even get you in trouble sooner."

Hecate moved the [king] away from underneath the chariot, her reminder laden with deeper meaning.

Luo En frowned, slightly puzzled.

"My plan should be quite meticulous, right? His Majesty the King of Gods hasn't shown any suspicion so far."

"But what about Fate?"

Hecate looked up at the gloomy sky above the sea, her voice a somber murmur.

"With this blessing, the moment you harbor a strong thought against His Majesty the King of Gods, or act upon it, it could trigger a shift in Fate. I hope you don't encounter it until you have completely left this God Era World..."

"Boom~!"

Suddenly, thunder roared in the sky above the sea, and the originally overcast sky turned pitch black.

Seeing this, Luo En's face darkened like the clouds outside, resentfully looking at Hecate.

If I had known you were so prophetic, I really should have sealed your mouth when I brought you out!

At that moment, Hecate, smiling gleefully, pushed her [priest] piece into Luo En's territory, joining forces with the already lurking [chariot], executing a double attack on the opposing [king].

"General, I win."
