The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 287: Where are the teammates? Save me! (5.7k)_2

"Zeus, you XX##XX!"

But before the voice could settle, ethereals swarmed like locusts, venting their rage at being imprisoned in form and stripped of divine authority upon the Chief God of Olympus.

At the moment of crisis, Poseidon made a bold decision, frantically wielding the Trident while summoning the authority of the sea to protect himself. Gritting his teeth, he withstood the onslaught of the ethereals and surged towards the thunderclouds in the sky.

You won't let me off easily, will you? Then let's all perish together! If I am to die, so shall everyone else!

Under Poseidon's lead, the ethereals quickly found their true target, hiding in plain sight. With intense hatred in their hearts, they launched a brutal assault on Zeus, the three Hundred-Handed Giants under his command, and Ares, who had gotten embroiled in the mix.

Of course, as a member of the Olympus Pantheon, Poseidon himself was also one of the targets of the ethereal attack.

And so, a battle between gods erupted amidst the cursing and yelling of the three factions.

At this very moment, at the entrance of the cave.

Seeing the blue halo flickering above Olympus, the gods finally lost heart and, almost in unison, averted their guilty gazes and walked deeper into the cave that blocked their view of the sky, intent on using their time to heal themselves.

As for their ally Poseidon, sorry, but it's every man for himself.

Just as Athena was about to close her eyes and prepare for meditation, her defensive charm in front of her was pierced by a cold arrow of light.

Artemis, just awakened from unconsciousness, gnashed her teeth as she glared at the Goddess of Wisdom.

"Why did you knock me out?"

"He asked for it."

"He... Luo En?"

The Goddess of the Hunt's eyes lit up, and she immediately lunged forward to grab Athena by the arm, her face filled with excitement and euphoria.

"He's still alive, isn't he?"

"I don't know."

Athena shook her head and spoke softly in explanation.

"He simply asked us to wait patiently for three days, and everything would be over after those three days."

"Three days? Good! Such a short time will pass quickly!"

Artemis nodded excitedly in quick succession, then turned to heal herself.

Watching the decisive exit of the Goddess of the Hunt, Athena found the lengthy explanation she had prepared stuck in her throat, and a complicated light flickered in her purple eyes.

Another one utterly fascinated...

So what exactly do you plan to do after three days?

The Goddess of Wisdom in the shadows slowly opened her tightly clenched hand, gazing quietly into the palm at the still Serpentine Twelve-Sided Die and slipped into deep contemplation.

Meanwhile, at the summit, a new battle of the gods began to unfold.

Zeus clad himself in clouds as armor, wielding lightning as a spear, thunder as a shield, and thunderbolt as arrows, riding the chariot of time, dashing across the sky. Accompanying him were the three Hundred-Handed Giants: Cottus, Briareus, and warlike Gyes. God of Berserkers, Ares, kept the front, and Sea God Poseidon was forced to follow.

The leading ethereals, Demon Ancestor Typhon and Titan King Cronus, were not to be outdone. One was whipping up a chilling Aether Storm to sweep all around, and the other was raising a giant scythe in hand, aimed directly at the lower sections of Zeus's body.

Each Titan and Divine Monster converging in the sky emitted a world-shaking roar, unleashing their collective fury upon the prime culprit of their confinement.

Faced with a massive onslaught, Zeus either dodged, cleaved through with thunder and lightning, charged down his opponents with his chariot, or raised up thunder and storms to disrupt the ranks of the Titan Giants and Typhon's Demon Army.

Soon, Typhon was the first to falter, hit by a bolt of thunder that shattered most of his phantom image as he plummeted towards the Sea of Okeanos. The phantom of Titan King Cronus was also penetrated by lightning, exploding into fragments.

Although they had arrived in Olympus for some unknown reason, the Dream of Truth in the Elysian Fields was still pressing down on their bodies, separating their divine authority, allowing only a part of their consciousness to escape.

For Zeus, the situation, while tricky, had not yet reached an unmanageable level.

But before he could catch his breath, a vast maelstrom emerged above the Sea of Okeanos, the three bronze walls at the bottom of the sea sent out trembling, tearing moans, and the three dark curtains of Nether Prison bled torrents of black smoke. The shattered phantoms of Typhon, Cronus, and the Titans and Divine Monsters re-formed, seeming even clearer than before.

Savage roars sounded from the Abyss, growing more ferocious and piercing.

A sense of heaviness descended on Zeus's heart, and his face grew ugly with concern. Explore more stories with My Virtual Library Empire

Their power was recovering, wills breaking free, authority regaining!

What in the world was happening?!

No one answered the Divine King's questions, as the partially lucid ethereals, driven by instinct, launched one attack after another on Olympus.

New Gods and Old Gods clashed fiercely, and the dreadful turmoil and anomalies spread from the Celestial Realm to the Mortal World.

In a daze, countless lives on the ground looked up.

They watched the fury of the gods represented by thunder and lightning, the old shadows of demons, chasing across the sky, colliding with each other.

"Hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss!"

Meteors fell from the dawn sky, trailing a streak of light across the dark River of the Sky before fading away.

In friction with the air, boiling dense aether burst forth into dazzling light against the night.

The spectacle of the earth looking up at the sky was like a still oil painting, frozen in time.

But the next moment.

"Boom, boom, boom, boom!"

The sky collapsed, stars plummeted, bringing death and terror.

The surface of the earth was on fire.

The world was on fire.

Buildings, villages, farmlands, towns...

All that mankind might call "civilization" was being relentlessly trampled, destroyed.
