The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 90: Urgent, How to Break Boss's Health Lock? (4.8k)

"Did it succeed?" On the scorched battlefield, Luo En leaned on his spear with one hand, gazing from afar at the gigantic, gloomy, dark stone pillars-like thighs that stood alone and inserted into the ground a hundred meters away, gasping for air violently as he struggled to stabilize the chaotic divine power surging within his body. It must be said, Kronos, having completed Divine Integration, was very strong, and those authorities that came from the original bodies of the Twelve Titans far surpassed the scraps of divine power Luo En had managed to snag from the gods of Olympus. Had it not been for the presence of the "Destiny Contract," making the mortal world his home field with a powerful home advantage, Luo En himself would hardly have been able to withstand the Titan King. Let alone, like now, killing Kronos four times in a row. But how many lives does he still have left? Luo En watched the two legs on the ground wriggling and growing upward wildly, and the bones that shot up like bamboo shoots after the rain, his eyes filled with gloom. Immediately, he raised his hand and rapidly traced patterns in the air before him. Hum! In an instant, the golden-red divine blood overflows from the fingertips as ink, solidifying in mid-air, the Titan Divine Text from the Temple of Memory, the Hermes Script from Aiaia, the Linear Alphabet from the civilization of Crete... and numerous other inscriptions sought after by spellcasters became as cheap as street stall goods, carelessly adorning there, in numbers as numerous as stars, the combination unrestrained. On the city walls of Thessaly, each priest, priestess, and mage all looked intently at the Luo En who was casting spells before the public on the battlefield, their eyes glaring at the patterns emerging in the air, observing with all their hearts, their faces showing a devout and fervent expression. This was an endless treasury of knowledge! And the ultimate source of civilization! It seemed to encompass the essences of magic and spells of the Memory Goddess Mnemosyne, Witchcraft Goddess Hecate, and Wisdom Goddess Athena, among the three Goddesses of Magic. Even if they could glimpse a hint of the truth from it, the magic they mastered would undergo earth-shattering changes; the power they possessed would rise several levels, getting one step closer to the "Magic Principle!" In contrast, the giants were all horrified, their pupils almost shrinking to the size of needlepoints. As ancient creatures, of course, they were clear on the value of these inscriptions, but likewise, they knew all too well the terror that these inscriptions conveyed! "Retreat! Retreat now!" Prometheus, who reacted the fastest, immediately bellowed to remind the giants to leave the dangerous area covered by the light patterns. "Hum!" As Luo En completed the last stroke in mid-air with his fingertips, the arcane magic resonance echoed in the giants' minds. In the next moment, dense patterns of Divine Patterns shot out from the scorched battlefield, like a meteor shower from the highest heavens, plummeting through the air. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! In an instant, the area ahead seemed to have been bombarded by a barrage of cluster artillery, Magic Beasts turned to mush, giants torn apart, barriers shredded, and the ground pierced through. In just a few breaths, the area with a diameter of over thirty kilometers, which covered the position reinforced by the giants with Divine Power and Spells, became a sieve riddled with a thousand gaping wounds; the magic workshops in various places kept collapsing and breaking apart, in the blink of an eye reduced to fragmented rubble. The territory that the giants had spent hours advancing and stabilizing was completely flattened by this single strike. Looking at the death zone that was sheerly cut down by hundreds of meters, even Prometheus couldn't help but take a sharp breath of cold air. Being the son of the soul and prophecy Titan Iapetus, his magical prowess also was naturally not weak. But like the scene before him, carelessly expunging hundreds of giants with a single move and forcing the army of the Giant Spirit Clan to retreat with his own power, Prometheus did not think he could do it. Moreover, these were just the casual acts of the Newborn God; the remains of the Titan King Cronus were his real target. At this moment, the bombardment had not yet ceased. One by one, sparkling runes fell towards the location of Cronus' remains like meteors, attempting to erase the regenerating flesh and snuff out all vital life activity within it. However, as the flesh exploded, a layer of golden-red blood mist formed around Cronus's remains, enveloping the torso that was growing skeletal structure within it. Seeing this, Luo En's eyes grew darker. He raised his pale hand that had nearly lost its color and reached forward with his fingers clawed. "God of Knowledge, God of Wisdom, God of Love, be with me!" Under the solemn command, the virtual shadows of the Nine Muses and The Three Graces, along with numerous other Lesser Deities emerged behind him, collectively raising a Crown woven from the divinities of memory, wisdom, and aesthetics, placing it atop his head. More Divine Patterns and denser Spells bombarded towards the remains of Cronus. The howling runes passed through the golden-red blood mist, boiling violently like water droplets in hot oil, causing the protective cocoon membrane that fostered Cronus's regeneration to show honeycomb-like corrosive gaps. Following attacks burst through the breach, smashing and tearing apart the thinning golden-red cocoon membrane bit by bit, dissolving it, and striking directly at the dust-covered form that had begun to take human shape. "Boom boom boom boom!" Under the dense rune bombardment, the ground where the target lay was brutally plowed over, again and again. Pieces of flesh and soil were either frozen into ice, burned to char, rotted due to curses, or became scraps cut by the blade of wind... The Divine Blood stored within those remains seemed to have lost some kind of restraint, turning into a sky full of golden-red droplets, indiscriminately spraying, nourishing the perforated earth. Was it a success? Luo En stared at the battlefield for a long while until the dust dispersed and, seeing nothingness before him, he finally lowered his arms with a sense of relief.
