The Invincible Sect Leader

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: The Dao of Profit… and Trouble

Chan Li sat on a mountain of spirit stones, a wide grin on his face.

"Ahh… the sound of wealth."

He casually tossed a spirit stone into the air, watching it sparkle.

Meanwhile, his disciples stood in shock, staring at the ridiculous amount of money piled up in the sect's treasury.

"Master… this is insane!"

"We made millions in just a few days!"

"Are we even a sect anymore… or a business empire?"

Chan Li smirked.

"Both."

But just as he was about to relax, a disciple ran in, panicked.

"Master! The major sects… they're coming!"

The Angry Cultivation World

Outside the Heavenly Mystical Sect, thousands of cultivators had gathered.

Leading them were elders from the top sects, their faces dark with rage.

"Chan Li! You've scammed our disciples out of their spirit stones!"

"That water was just normal water!"

"Return our money, or face destruction!"

Chan Li sipped tea from a golden cup, completely unfazed.

"Ah, gentlemen, please. Scam? What scam? My Divine Essence Water works, doesn't it?"

The elders twitched.

"That's because your stupid disciple faked his breakthrough!"

Chan Li gasped dramatically.

"Are you saying my esteemed disciple lied? Are you saying his cultivation breakthrough was fake?"

Fang Yu, standing behind Chan Li, sweated nervously.

"Uh… I mean… I did feel stronger, Master…"

Chan Li nodded wisely.

"See? Even he believes it."

The elders twitched harder.

"You…!"

The Master Negotiator

Seeing the growing hostility, Chan Li knew he had two options:

1. Fight all the sects at once (bad idea).

2. Make them feel too dumb to admit they got scammed (better idea).

He sighed deeply, shaking his head like a disappointed teacher.

"Seniors, seniors… You are all respected figures in the cultivation world, yet you don't see the true value of my water?"

The elders paused.

"True… value?"

Chan Li smiled, eyes full of bullsh AHEM, wisdom.

"Of course! This was never about the water itself. It was about belief!"

The cultivators blinked.

"What?"

Chan Li stood up, his aura rising.

"Think about it. My water didn't just enhance your disciples' cultivation it gave them confidence! It inspired them! It pushed them past their limits!"

The elders hesitated.

One of them stroked his beard. "Well… I did hear some of our disciples trained harder after drinking it…"

Another nodded thoughtfully. "And a few actually broke through in frustration…"

Chan Li clasped his hands behind his back, looking profound.

"You see? It wasn't a scam. It was a mental breakthrough technique! A revolutionary cultivation method! My Divine Essence Water is simply a medium for enlightenment."

The elders looked at each other, confused.

"Wait… is he right? Or is he just talking nonsense…?"

"I… I don't know anymore."

Yan Rui whispered to Xie Yun.

"Is Master seriously gaslighting the entire cultivation world?"

Xie Yun nodded slowly.

"And it's working."

From Enemy to Customer

After a long debate, the elders reluctantly backed down.

"Fine! We won't destroy your sect… but you must lower the price of the water!"

Chan Li sighed dramatically.

"Ah, it pains me… but for the sake of the cultivation world, I shall do it."

The elders nodded, satisfied

Until Chan Li raised a new sign.

"HEAVENLY DIVINE ESSENCE WATER NOW AVAILABLE IN MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION PLANS! 20% DISCOUNT FOR ELDERS!"

The elders: "...Wait, what?"

Before they could react, their disciples rushed forward.

"Elder! Please! Get us the VIP plan!"

"I NEED the Supreme Gold Edition!"

Within minutes, the sect elders were forced to buy bottles just to keep their disciples happy.

Chan Li watched the spirit stones pile up again, grinning like a true capitalist.

"Another successful negotiation."

A New, Serious Threat…

Later that night, as the sect celebrated their business victory, Yan Rui sat across from Chan Li, looking serious.

"Master… you might have tricked the sects, but… I feel something bigger is coming."

Chan Li raised an eyebrow.

"Bigger?"

Yan Rui nodded.

"Rumors are spreading. There's a secret organization in the shadows… and they don't like how fast we're rising."

Chan Li paused, his smile fading.

"A secret organization?"

Yan Rui's expression was grim.

"They're called the Dark Abyss Sect. And they want you dead."

Chan Li slowly leaned back, fingers tapping the table.

"Hmm. Well, that's a problem."

He grabbed another spirit stone, tossing it into the air.

"But you know what's an even bigger problem?"

Yan Rui sighed. "What now, Master?"

Chan Li grinned evilly.

"We're running out of stock. Time to make a new product."
