The Last Kingdom: Bastard of BebbanBurg: The ‘wolf’

I'm busy going through my daily drills.. whilst the wheels in my head are constantly turning.. thinking about the latest news I've come to discover about my liege lord.. at the beginning.. it was the 'Bastard of BebbanBurg'

Now it's the 'wolf'.. the story goes Aethred was born from a shield-maiden named Boudicca who was from a Scandinavian tribe.. she was born in a family of long-ago-established warriors.. a family with hundreds years of history in this world.. hundreds years of spreading their footprints across the Scandinavian peninsula.. long enough to grow into a family large enough to have an entire settlement for their family only..

anywho, his mother's ancestors on the side of her family that wasn't from the Scandinavian peninsula.. the one that held blood from the far East.. from a kingdom of 'horse-lords' they call them.. their kingdom held vast lands and wealth and their kingdom was called the Kingdom of 'mongols' that it and its peoples who were lead by a warrior named 'Genghis'..

'Genghis' who hundreds years after his death.. somehow managed to leave blood in this world that had spread all the way to traders all the way almost halfway across the known world.. trading furs and goods found in the tribes calling Scandinavia home.. and Aethred's mother's veins had this same blood flowing through them..

so now Aethred has himself introduced by his 'Royal guards' as "Introducing, the Lord of Oxford, the 'Bastard of BebbanBurg'.. the 'wolf'.. son of Boudicca, who was daughter of Jingim, who was the Descendant of the House of 'Kublai', Descendant of the 'Great Khan' of 'Khans'.. Descendent of 'Genghis'.. who was born of a wolf himself.."

Fucking righteous.. the most badass introduction I've heard so far.. out of the few people I've ever seen being introduced.. I mean seriously.. so he has an ancestor that was born from a wolf for real..? That's fucking awesome..

"Another glorious morning to ye m'lord" I say as I raise my head noticing the 'wolf' beginning his morning rounds.. taking stock of the 'sheep' who call the dominions of his land 'home'.. patrolling his hunting grounds.. checking his traps.. making his rounds.. being followed by one of the brightest minds I've ever had the privilege of meeting Aestan..

A young Saxon man who is a well enough competent soldier.. but he is a more than competent accountant, diplomat, clerk, officer, craftsman, researcher, the boy was a all around 'jack-of-all-trades'.. "now remember Aestan, I need accurate numbers.. pertaining to the amount of peasants on our lands.. amount of landowners within my domains.. amount of land said owners own.. amount of children said peasants have in their families.. once we have all the fields surveyed and mapped out I need you marking out acre plots for 'government' lands that will be rewarded to soldiers with kills under their belts.. call your brother for me would you.. I would like to check his accomplishments in studying the 'treatise of war' I wrote for him to study." I hear the 'wolf' say

"Always remember boys.. a truly competent master-of-war doesn't move towards his enemies.. no he lets his enemies come to him.. the only time one would want to move before an enemy moves.. is if you want to lure said enemy from the position they are currently in.. do you understand so far?" I hear my teacher ask my fellow student Aeric.. trying to think between the lines of what he just taught me.. hopefully he explains it.. uhh my head

"I believe so teacher.. but could you explain it just so I can understand better..?" Aeric asked.

"It's good to ask questions Aeric.. Eardwulf.. always remember that.. if your enemy is tired.. harass them.. if your enemy chases.. you retreat.. if your enemy sleeps.. you attack.. if your enemy grows restless.. you wait.." the 'wolf' continued his teachings giving little lessons on the art of war.. was fascinating just listening to it..

I almost feel like I could command a great army in an equally great war or battle or battles.. winning battle after battle.. taking riches on top of riches.. bedding wench after wench.. basking in adorations from peasant to peasant.. that would be the life.. thats how the 'wolf' lives..

Descendant of a wolf.. fucking pagans.. ridiculous.. what is wrong with the world today?.. people actually believe this shit.. he fucks like a 'wolf' I'll say that.. fucking heathen.. atleast Im not getting pregnant again..

My poor once tight as a glove anus is now stretched out and ruined.. never to return to its previous tightness ever again.. Freya and Baldur are already one and starting to run and speak.. time flies when your getting pounded over and over again..bent over.. picked up all over in different places.. on top of different things..

hmm.. Brida should make it home soon.. just in time for the 'establishment ceremony' for my new government that will be birthed here in Oxford.. her and my soon to be third wife.. Isuelt.. I'll enjoy taking her for sure.. after that I might take a sail across the English Channel..

Check out the lands where modern day Amsterdam is.. I imagine the peoples there should be competent enough shipbuilders.. beings that the coastlines of Normandy and Flanders have been giving birth to sea-faring peoples for hundreds of years..

I stop my thoughts to say "Aethelwold.. thats right.. Sygtryggr check out any news about Alfred's nephew Aethelwold.. last I heard he was sniffing around Uhtred's place.. he could be a valuable chess piece on the board of the Game of Thrones we are playing."
